The first two years that Bee had attended the Yule Ball she had worn outfits that were sorta formal but didn't include some sort of skirt and dress. So by now it had become a tradition for Bethany to wear anything but a dress to these such events. She liked the idea of standing out amongst the rest of the crowd and wearing what she liked. This year she decided to wear a black and white polka dotted blouse and black pants, and if that wasn't fancy enough for someone like Bee, she decided to add a a black tie just for that formal look. She had decided to tame her wild curly hair with braids for the night and once she was ready to go, the Gryffindor headed down to the great hall. She walked into the room admiring all the decorations and headed straight for the table to get a drink, bopping her head to the music. </SIZE>

The death of Cato's best friend, Bianca had changed everything. The sweet Cato disappeared and he was no longer respecting every single person on earth. He started to become more like his brothers who believed that Cato's behavior made him vulnerable and stupid. He thought it was best for him to forget his old self and re-invent himself. Cato wasn't much of a party person but he wasn't going to give in to get off his comfort zone. The brunette shook his head and got everything off his head and entered the great hall. He took 2 glasses of raspberry juice mixed with soda hoping to bump into any of the lovely ladies. Cato spotted one, who stood up among the crowd. He took a sip before he made his way toward the girl. "Care for a raspberry juice?" his smirked, which he had never done before.

Bee was munching on some cookies and was about to serve herself some pumpkin juice when a tall boy approached her and asked if she wanted some raspberry juice. That sounded much better than pumpkin juice which they had regularly so she smiled and said, "Sure!" She took one of the cups the boy had and took a sip. "Whoa this is good!" she stated, liking the fizziness of the drink, it didn't taste like anything that was readily available as an option for them so it seemed like he had mixed something up. "Care for a cookie?" she asked, holding one out to him since he had given her some of his drink. "I'm Bee by the way," she decided to introduce herself.

Desislav wasn't really sure why he was making an appearance at the Yule Ball. Last year had been weird, yet without Kayleigh he really didn't have a reason to be down here. His brother was gone, so he didn't really have anyone else to hang out with. At least that was what he had thought until he'd spotted Storm Bethany. Desislav had just started heading over towards her when another guy beat him to it. The blond paused and then grinned, not wanting to mess with true love. Instead, he walked behind the guy so hopefully only Bethany could spot him and held up his hands in the shape of a heart in front of his own, breaking it apart as if she'd broken his heart. Breaking into a grin to let her know he was joking, Desislav gave her a thumbs up before moving on to see who else he knew at the party.

Hope it was ok for me to hop in. I couldn't resist :p

If there was something that Cato wished not to happen in yule ball was being rejected when he tried to engage in a conversation with another party. Hence was he glad when the girl took the glass that he had offered earlier. "I'm trying to lose weight" he said jokingly and finished a couple of cookies. "I'm Cato" the Gryffindor leaned a bit closer to Bee as the music was getting a little too loud. Cato moved to the beat, it was his kind of music, a little bit of big band with the hint of funk jazz before taking another sip of his drink. He quickly disposed the glass once he was done with his raspberry juice. "How can the lucky man leave his sparkling diamond, well... You, off his sight?" wondering if she came all by herself or had a lucky b@stard escorted her.

Bee was lucky she had not been drinking her juice as Desislav sneakily approached behind the other boy because she would've spit her drink out mid-laugh. She lifted her cup up to her lips to hide her smile as she watched the older Gryffindor flash her a thumbs up and then leave. Then she turned her attention back to the other boy who'd introduced himself as Cato. "Nice to meet you Cato," she said after she'd taken another sip of the drink he offered. His next statement caught her off guard though and she laughed lightly. "I didn't come with any lucky man," she stated, "I came by myself. I'm assuming you did too?" she asked with an eyebrow raised. It was possible a guy with a date could still be hitting on another girl but she didn't think that was the case here.

Cato noticed the girl exchanging a gesture with someone behind Cato though he couldn't be bothered to check who the other party was. "It sounds almost impossible for a girl like you to come on your own unless of course, if you reject the offers that boys been flooding you with" the girl didn't seem like one of those who would come to parties on their own. "It's just me and my shadow" he said not trying to sound pathetic. Having dates in yule ball is overrated anyway, people can always come on their own and find dates on the spot or even enjoy the whole evening to themselves. "Hey I have an idea, let's play truth or dare" This Cato could be a little bit wild, it seemed like he wasn't himself anymore. He was like a person who got knocked on the head, waking up with fresh new memories.

Bee threw her head back and laughed at the boy's assumption about guys flooding her and said, "Yeah right!" The boy was nice but he clearly didn't know how Bee was, and being chased after boys was not a common occurrence. However his next statement was much more up her alley. Immediately Bee's competitive side sparked up and she raised an eyebrow in interest. "I'm game," she stated with a smirk on her face. "Go ahead and start!" she declared.

Cato had something in mind if the girl chose dare, he knew what he would want to dare her to do and she might not like it if she was to be an innocent goody good girl. But since it was his turn, it was him who had to choose and he chose "Dare" the young Gryffindor leaned toward Bee's ears and whispered in her ears with a hand cupping the opposite side of Bee's ear, brushing her cheek with the back of his hand before putting it beside him. Cato didn't get to flirt or tease girls before Bianca passed away, not even to his crush. He tried to be faithful to her even though it was a silly thing to do. He could be awkward in doing such thing but he was going to live his life like normal wizard teens.

Bee was expecting Cato to ask her truth or dare first but she was surprised when he leaned in and whispered in her ear. The Gryffindor girl felt the goosebumps grow as he brushed his hand against her cheek. Trying to ignore the flirtation because she assumed he probably did this with all the girls, Bee focused on the game at hand. She had no experience in flirting and boys, but she was an expert in winning. Bee took a step back and said, "Hmmm," as she put a hand up to her chin in thought. "I got it," she declared after a moment of thinking. "I dare you to dance on top of this table for everyone to see," she said with a smirk on her face.

Immediately Cato got up to the table and started to dance and attracted attention of the crowd. Some of the students started dancing, Cato took a girl by the hand, pulling her up with him and danced with her. When the music was over, the group clapped their hands ending with Cato giving the girl a quick hug before getting off the table. He took a napkin and wiped his sweat off, untying his tie followed by him unbuttoning his collar. "I'm daring you Bee, and you're not going to get away from this" the boy smiled seductively, biting his lower lip. "I dare you to kiss me" man was Cato different than his old-self. Cato could see that Bee wasn't too happy with the dare that he had just given and started yelling at him, pointing her finger to his face. "Come on Bee, it's just a dare" he took the girl by the hand, covering all her fingers to prevent her from sticking out her fingers at him. "I'm not that bad of a kisser" his finger traced the girl's lips as he looked at her in the eye.

Beth was quite surprised by how unashamedly the guy sprang into action upon hearing his dare. She thought he would only dance for a few seconds, but the boy went all out for a full song, attracting an audience while Bee laughed at him the whole time. Afterward she easily picked dare because she was not one to back down from a challenge, especially given how easily he performed his. However when Cato dared her to kiss him she began to yell at him; so typical of a boy to take a fun game and use it to their advantage.

Bee glared at him as he took hold of her hand and sweet talked his way, tracing her mouth with his finger. Bee had never kissed anyone but she figured getting it over with this way wouldn't be so bad. Plus, she did not want to lose this game, especially so early. Bee huffed indignantly and then grabbed Cato by his collar and pulled him to her, since he was so much taller than her. She pulled him and crashed her lips to his, kissing him fully. Once she was done, she pushed him away. "Happy now?" she said, wiping her mouth. So that was her first kiss. "Okay next, truth or dare?"

Cato was actually quite surprised that the girl dared to do so after seeing her reaction toward the dare. The gryffindor was forcefully bent down when Bee grabbed him by his collar. He snaked his arms to her waist and pulled her closer, much closer, lifting her a little bit off the ground before putting her down, ending the kiss. Her kiss was pure and innocent, she didn't seem to be like one of those girls who have way too much experience when it comes to kissing. "No, not yet" he bent down once more and leaned toward the girl, he stopped right before his lips met hers and quickly smiled at her innocently. "I'm sorry, I was just teasing you" he kissed her cheek instead, nothing romantic. It seemed like Cato wasn't the only one who enjoyed the game, the young man smirked and picked "Dare". Let's see what kind of dare the girl can come up with.
