Now, another annoying suggestion from me.

I have been reading lately how much the stuff are stuffed with the applications and general questions. I then went on formspring.

It may seem, quite off topic and quite different and strange but this may (may) just work.

Formspring is a site used like twitter, you make an account and people can ask you questions and you answer them! (woo)

I was thinking, why don't the staff use a general account and all share it? It would take ease of Nic and others doing all the answering and such because they are higher up. It would ease

the flood of PM's and stuff. Btw, you don't need an account to ask a question. Example : http://www.formspring.me/HnzStaff

Feel free to ask that account a question, you see how easy it can be used?

Thanks,

- Brock -

P.S. I just thought, if you want you could hire some people that could just answer questions.

Much like what hobbas used to be on habbo.

I don't think your suggestions are annoying, Brock. :)

As to this specific suggestion, could you expand on how you think it should be used? Just for general questions that anybody on the staff could answer? How is that any different than posting in the FAQ Forum where anybody from the site can answer a question?

Nick

I find it easier to use and i reckon if promoted well enough otheres will to. As you dont have to keep going back to the group to use it as if your a member you can follow that person or said group and get emails when they answer your question.
Hope this helps

And you can subscribe to your topic on HNZ and get an email or a PM when somebody replies to it here. ;)
It's also directly integrated in to the system - why would we redirect users to another service (which has few moderation tools for staff, does not connect to people's accounts on HNZ, and would be a mess to archive/easily access) when we can have them post a topic on the board and then be dealt with appropriately?
As mentioned above, you can subscribe to any topic (to be notified by email or PM with any new replies) by viewing the topic you wish to subscribe to, clicking the "Track Topic" link (at the bottom of the page by the board clock), then selecting the appropriate option. ^_^

Perhaps there is another reason to consider using Formspring?

Formspring is more informal, a person that was to ask a question on it would be able to ask questions about future

developments and staff can easily have conversations, its not a MUST USE thing but just a small ease to make it a bit

easier for staff and members alike to use. The FAQ is a more formal area, you can ask questions only that need to be

answered. If the staff wants, they can answer a question. They don't have to, but its there.

Its sort of like the twitter page, it has some hints and such.

Thanks,

- Brock-

P.S. I know you hate reading all my suggestions, i'm taking a forced break from HNZ soon so you will be heavilly

realived.

I had the overwhelming urge to say
THANKS, BATMAN!

I sincerely do not hate reading yours, or other member's, suggestions. :)
I like suggestions a lot, actually. Which is why I check the queue for new suggestions daily (often more than daily).

Regardless, I have set this topic up as a poll - we'll see what the majority thinks, then go from there.

W00T!

I mean, thats a good idea Nic.

Thanks.

Hi there. :D

Thank you for your suggestion, Brock. Also, many thanks to those who took the time to vote in the poll. It seems that once again the community has spoken in overall favor of keeping with our current system.

Happy Holidays,
~Liv (on behalf of HNZ team)
