Yuelia may not have had a lot going for her, all things considered, but what she did have was duelling. She was good at it, though she was primarily self taught and going off of instinct more often than not. It worked well for her, but there was always room for improvement. She knew full well there was some wariness towards her, but it wasn't as though she could necessarily overwrite any of the charms the professors had put on the training dummies without considerable effort. It was safe enough to let her have the space to practice, and so practice she would, bouncing a little on the spot to try and work a little on her movement. Ideally, she wouldn't need to move much at all. Her footwork was lacking, however, and she challenged herself to dodge some spells rather than simply shield. Easier said than done, apparently, as the lace on one of her shoes had come undone and caught under one foot. She dodged the stunning spell coming towards her, but at the expense of her balance, hitting the ground with a thud and a small whine of discontent.

While Chase was glad he had fixed things enough for Leah to talk to him again he was now learning that she wasn't always the easiest person to find. He had been wanting to discuss some quidditch stuff with her and had been looking in all of the regular places but to no avail. It made him realise she usually found him rather than the other way around. After wrecking his brain for any spot his friend might spend her time he eventually headed over to the duelling chamber, which was an odd place for him to be. He didn't think he had ever spend any time there except for perhaps the one or two times he had gone to watch Leah duel. So now here he was, pushing open the door to a room quite unknown to him, hoping he wouldn't accidentally interrupt some club meeting of sorts. If anything, he hoped to either find Leah or no one at all. Either of those would be preferrable. Faith seemed to work against him though and Chase knew he could hardly turn back when he opened the door just in time (although that statement is debatable) to see someone hit the ground. "Sh*t." He muttered before speaking up. "Hey, uh, you alright?" He asked awkwardly, hovering near the door while he debated whether or not he should offer his hand to help her get up.
