Ares had been wandering around the school for a good few days, ever since arriving at the school, and he was always happy to spend his nights with Xavier talking about the days they'd both had, it was good he thought that he was able to sit with his brother and they could talk about what they'd been doing with such ease, he loved Xavier so much and was so glad they were together. He knew they didn't always hang out, and Ares always wandered off following a line of thought almost too literally at some points but he was glad to be able to sit at night and listen to his brother. The mornings for breakfast, Ares always waited until Isaiah before sitting down with him. It was just a little ritual he was sure that would continue but it meant that by the time it was just after breakfast, Ares was so filled with joy and energy that he knew it was time for the only thing he could do that day.

Thus, the young Hufflepuff found himself on the pitch, having heard the fact that hufflepuff had won the cup last year and beat the professors, the young boy wanted nothing more than to be a part of the team, so he had decided to come to the pitch and get some practice in, without Isaiah, just to be able to see how good he was so far. The young hufflepuff walked around the pitch with a smile, a borrowed broom in hand, and his mind creating the loud crowd around him, the players above him, calling him up to play, he could see the referee, see the quaffle, the bludgers and the snitch, he could see them all. Ares just spun on the spot as he took everything in, he could just imagine himself being the one to help catch the snitch, being the one to help them win the cup and feel the roar of the crowd when he did. The boy spun so much on the spot that eventually he grew so dizzy he tripped over his own feet and fell to the ground.

Asher Green was having the time of his life. Hogwarts was all that the had dreamed of and more! He hardly even felt home sick; he was so scared he was going to be. But, he didn't always get along with his dad, and his mom was often away on tour, or somewhere out performing, so Asher was quite used to spending the time alone, or not being around his parents. Of course, at Hogwarts he was hardly ever alone, there were so many people and so much fun to be had. And, he was always able to go see his Grandmom if he needed too.
Still, there was so much to explore. Asher wondered if he'd ever be able to explore the whole castle. It was way to big! He hadn't seen too much yet, even with his trips with his mom to visit his Gran. The young Gryffindor had spent much of his time so far looking at all the things inside, it was now time to venture outside. The Quidditch Pitch was a definite first place to go to. He so wanted to join the team, but he knew First Years weren't really allowed, but he was going to go to all of the games so he could watch the techniques and practice so he could join the team the following year. Hopefully.
However, he wasn't alone on the Pitch. A grin grew on his face when he saw another young boy spinning in circles. He wondered what he was doing, what he was imagining. The other boy had a broom with him, and Asher wondered where he got it from. He wondered if they would be able to share the broom, and have turns each. But not soon after Asher started making his way towards the boy, he had tripped over. Asher gasped and ran to the boy. "Hey dude, are you okay?" Asher asked, looking down at him.

Ares so lost in his own mind barely acknowledged the ones around him if there were any, in his mind he could just see and hear everything that he wanted to, he could feel the power, feel the magnitude of what being a quidditch player was, he couldn't wait in all honesty to experience it, to live and breathe it, to be able to be a quidditch player flying in the wind with the roars of the crowd just around him, building in volume and towards him singularly as a player. He couldn't wait, to be able to play to be able to experience it. The boy fell to the ground but kept his gaze up at the sky, only surprised when a face entered his vision of a young boy around his age who looked very concerned about the fact that Ares was on the ground, but Ares' face had a smile and a look like this was supposed to happen.

The young hufflepuff's gaze shifted from the sky above him to the boy who looked concerned and he gave a small jerky nod as he shifted his weight on to his elbows and sat up looking at the boy rather than up at the sky, "Yeah," he replied as he allowed the world around him to stop spinning, "I was just spinning and if you spin too much you fall," he explained as if it was the most normal of things, he didn't know if there was any need for any explanation, or if this boy would even want such an explanation considering that nothing had been real, it had all been in Ares' head, he smiled at him and just held out his hand, supporting himself on one elbow, "I'm Ares," he introduced with a small smile before then motioning to the quidditch pitch around them, "Are you practicing?" the hufflepuff asked with an interested smile, since he was always keen to get to know those who were interested in the same things that he was, and this at the pitch could very well be that.
