Zeke couldn’t really explain it properly, but he liked girls. He liked talking to them, he liked being around them, and he liked looking at them too. But not in a creepy way though, he liked looking at them in a nice way. They were just nice to look at. Like a pleasing piece of art, or puppies, or sparkly jewellery. He then imagined a girl wearing a sparkly necklace and holding a puppy and thought that would make a nice piece of art before he shook the thought out of his head and wondered if he was okay. Honestly, his brain was so stuffed full of girls, girls were just everywhere in his head and he couldn't think about anything else.

He didn’t even like just one girl, oh no he liked almost all of them. He was actually sat in the courtyard, daydreaming about girls when a group of them suddenly walked out. His stomach did a sudden flip and Zeke panicked, quickly turning his head the other way and staring very intensely at a patch of grass nearby. It was very interesting indeed.

Open after @Eloise Flynn

Eloise was glad to be back at school. She was happy to see her friends and learn more about magic. While she did enjoy her time with her family and had missed them while she was at school, she had missed Hogwarts just a little during her break. The Hufflepuff walked with a few of her friends out into the courtyard, thinking about heading towards the gardens with them, but then something else had caught her eye instead. Zeke had been sitting in the courtyard and Eloise caught a quick glimpse of him looking away. She hadn't really known the boy, only talking to him a few times, but he seemed nice from their interactions. Eloise was about to follow her friends when they had remembered they had homework to catch up on. The Hufflepuff had already caught up with her homework, so she had told them she'd catch up with them later instead and decided to make her way to Zeke instead. "Hi Zeke! Beautiful day outside isnt?"

Zeke could feel his face went hot when Eloise headed his way. He tried to pretend he hadn’t noticed, but when she was actually talking to him, he knew it would be rude to continue to pretend she wasn't there. He turned his head, instantly regretting it when his cheeks burned hotter. “Oh hi Elodie,” he blurted out, the name coming out too fast that he hadn't thought about it. “Eloise! Sorry I meant Eloise! I know your name. Yeah, it’s warm. Really warm isn't it?” He laughed nervously, rubbing at the back of his neck hoping to cool himself down and get a grip on whatever the hell was happening to him, Zeke wasn't normally like this and thought it must be something the girls were doing. The thought that Eloise was a girl drifted into his head but he tried to stay on track. “So what are you, um, what are you up to?” he asked, not wanting to dwell on the name slipup.

Eloise was a little taken aback by him messing up her name, but quickly recovered when he had corrected himself. She brushed it off, waving her hand dismissively. "You're good! Easy mistake" Eloise says with a small giggle and shake of her head. There were names that were very similar to hers, so she guessed it was an easy mistake. "Oh! I was gonna go to the gardens with my friends, but they remembered they had some homework to catch up on. I decided to do my own thing instead. And then I saw you" Eloise says with a small giggle, suddenly playing with the ends of her hair out of nervousness. Her cheeks were heating up a little. That feeling had suddenly come to her, and she had no idea how it came to be or why she was feeling this way. "You waiting for someone?" Eloise asked, as she looked around for anyone who could be coming this way to meet up with him. She'd feel bad if she was keeping him away from something he needed to do.

Zeke felt a bit better that she didn't mind him calling her the wrong name, but he couldn't let it happen again, Eloise, he told himself to help it stick. When Eloise mentioned her friends ditching her, he shrugged. “Their loss, honestly. That sounds way better than homework.” He didn’t seem to notice her nerves as he was too busy focusing on his own. At her question, he shook his head, hands shoved into his pockets. “Nah, not waiting on anyone. Just killing time. Why? Would you like me to join you on your walk?" He asked, the question coming out before he could second guess himself.
