It was late. The school year was nearing the end.
There was a rustle as a cold ice breeze shifted through the forest.
Larissa was in the forest. She hadn't been for a while and she had missed being in the midnight air..
But she would not be alone for long.
Larissa began the walk into the forest, stepping over sticks, her wand her aloft.
She was not afraid of the dark or the forest but you never knew who was lurking in the shadows..

It was nearly Roberts birthday, and he felt he hadn't done alot in the last few years. He was nearly in his fourth year and nothing to show for it. He, as usual, had his hands in his jacket pocket, and was thinking what a fellow Gryffindor had said recently, when he heard the shuffling of feet behind him. Whipping out his wand he whispered quietly, "lumos" and the spark lit up the area around him. He was startled to see someone standing there, and seemingly quite furious with his for the light. He took a step back and lowered his wand. "sorry". As his eyes adjusted, he realized who he'd found. "There is just no getting away from you is there?" his tone was supposed to be vaguely scalding, but he had a smile on his face as he said it.

Larissa saw a light in her eyes and instantly her wand lit up also.
She lowered it after a moment.
Larissa stared for a moment as she saw him. Robert.
She couldn't help but smile at his words. "Nope. Can never escape me." She winked.
It had been so long since they'd last met.
"How are you? How've you been? I've not seen you in ages.. Are you... Are you still with Rhianne?"

Robert sighed, suprized one of her first questions was about his relationship. He wandered over to Larissa properly. "Ive been great" he gave her a hug, lifting her off the floor, before putting her back down again. Larissa hadn't beaten him to death at first chance, so he guessed it was safe to talk. "Yeah, we're still together. Although we hardly get an oppotunity to talk anymore" he said truthfully. He'd only spoken to her twice since he'd come back. "What about you? How have you been?" he asked. He looked around quickly before realizing this wasn't the best spot for a light chat. "Come on" he grinned, and began to wander again, hoping they could mutlitask.

Robert seemed so happy now and his hug, though it was a surprise, was comforting and for a moment, Larissa felt the spark.
The reason why she had liked him in the first place. Had he felt that too? Did he remember her love for him?
Larissa walked with Robert and was silent for a moment.
Finally, she spoke.
"I'm.. I'm alright. I've been okay. I mean, I broke up with Jacob. It wasn't working. Our relationship was built from revenge.. Revenge no longer needed." Larissa's eyes found Robert.
They were bright blue.
"Oh, Robert!" Larissa said, suddenly throwing her arms around his neck and giving him a hug. "I'm so sorry for what I did.. I should have been nicer to you and.. well.. you know."
He probably didn't but Larissa didn't want to say more on the subject.

Robert smiled into her hair when she threw her arms round him. "I guess, that's okay" he replied, a little unsure. "Jacob? Jacob Cooper? Oh.." he knew Libby liked him now.. at least, he thought she did. He thought she always had. No idea Larissa had even been with him. Anyway.. "Have you found someone new then?" He imagined a girl like Larissa would have no trouble in that department. He smiled as their eyes caught the others.

"Not exactly, no.. I mean.. Well, I've not been looking." She found herself smiling uncontrollably. Oh, how she'd missed Robert's smile.
"I sort of met an older guy who is kind of cute but.. we're just friends." She wished they were more. But she was too young for him.
Larissa's hand moved from Robert's shoulder to his hair and she played with it.
Only once she realized what she was doing did she stop and blush furiously.
"Sorry.. I um.." She gave a light cough. "What are you doing out here then?" She said, quickly changing the subject.

Roberts eyes followed her hand, and smiled when she started playing with his hair. "I..i was just.." he couldn't really remember how or why he'd managed to get himself in this situation. He had, missed Larissa. Rhianne was amazing, but she never, really, it just wasn't, well, Larissa. "Rhianne's going to kill me" he said quietly, now staring down into Larissa's eyes.

"Let her try," Larissa said, looking up at him and suddenly her lips closing in on his.
Her eyelids closing over her beautiful blue eyes.
It was something that had to be done. Did she love him? Did she hate him?
In all honesty, Larissa didn't care anymore. A kiss was a kiss.

(must.not.naw.xD)

Robert wasn't sure what he was doing. He kissed her back, memories flooding back to him. Maybe, no he really shouldnt. He broke off from Larissa, taking a step back and running his hands through his hair. "Rhianne." he said simply to her. If Rhianne was here, well he wouldn't like to think of the consequences. Who was he kidding? He never ever got the chance to speak to the girl anymore. Was this all just to make up for her? He stood under a low branches tree, a few feet away from Larissa, his eyes shut, and facing the damp ground. What was he doing?

Larissa was not pleased with the kiss being broken off.
Well, in a moment, that may not have been all that was broken off..
She paused for a moment as her mind switched and then suddenly she could do it.
She could have more power over her veela self.
A glow seemed to form around her, tracing her figure, her hair suddenly became bright, bouncy and cheerful.
She walked over to Robert, her eyes understanding. She stopped a short way from him.
"You don't have to kiss me, Robert." She said softly.
The monster inside purred. It was ready. Finally after fifteen years of sleeping, the monster was waking up.
It was ready should he say it, should he say he did not love her or worse- should he declare his love for Rhianne.
No, De Clivey was not getting the pleasure of having him this time.
But none of this darkness showed on Larissa's seemingly innocent face.

Robert still had his eyes shut and looking at the floor. "This isn't what was supposed to happen" he said mostly to himself. "Do you remember, when we first met. I had no idea about anything magical at all?" he asked, looking straight at her for the first time since he'd broken off. "I.." he tried to get back on track. "Ive done nothing special" he said. "Ive known about my..ablity for four years. I just" he rememberd when Larissa told him about her brother. "Know one knows. I can't." he looked straight at Larissa. Although his "ability" hadn't actually kicked in, yet, she should know if they were going to be friends again. "Sorry" he knew this must sound confusing to her. He stared at Larissa, her hair to him looked blonder than ever. He walked over to her quickly, wrapping his arms round her, going back to the kiss. He pushed her backwards against one of the trees. After a moment he stared back in her eyes. "I'm so dangerous" he smiled. "Rhianne. Wouldn't be able to stand it" he knew that much about her. "But you. You're danerous too right?" he said, not expecting an answer.

Larissa had expected none of this. However, she did remember their conversation.
Her back against the tree, she looked to Robert, and smiled darkly.
"Danger is my specialty."
Her lips found his again. She knew this went against pretty much everything she stood for but Larissa had changed once more;
she was a Slytherin and she was going to live like it- Whatever she wanted she would have.

Between kisses, Robert managed to get out "This, never leaves the forest. Got it" If they had to keep this a secret then fine. His hands were playing with her blonde hair. "So. Who's this older guy? Anyone i know?" he asked, still kissing her. Larissa had taught him so much, and this was no exeption.

"He's useful to me." She replied, not wanting to give to much away.
After all, she enjoyed the thrill of the chase.
She decided not to say anymore on the topic.
Larissa cared not for what time it was.. Nothing mattered.
She had what she wanted for now.
She was satisfied- content.

"Im so dead" he smiled. "And i thought you hated me" he began to laugh lightly. "Ive..got to go" he said finally. He wasn't meant to have stayed out long anyway. "Are you going away for the holidays?" he asked her, wondering if he was going to have to keep his distance between the to girls or not.

She had plans for the holiday but perhaps not in the sense Robert meant.
"I'm staying with a friend for the holidays." She lied. Well.. Was it a lie?
No, they were just friends.. For now, anyway.
"I think you should go on ahead.. Don't want to be caught together.. Just in case."
She winked and pecked him on the lips.

Robert simply nodded, shoved his hands back in his pockets, and wandered back through the darkness, wondering what her plan was this time. "That did so not just happen" he whacked himself on the head before running back up to the castle. People would start to miss him in the common room.

Lexi sniggered as she caught sight of an older boy running off through the trees. She guessed he'd been talking to the blonde girl. They seemed pretty close. She jumped down from the tree, and laughed as the blonde girl was stood on her own, and stuck one hand on her hip. Lexi thought she so should have made Slytherin. "Naw, has the big boy left you" she joked, without must resistant to how the girl would react. Lexi was all for herself. She'd had a failed year, and no longer cared.

Larissa ignored the girl for the moment.
She considered hexing her but.. Larissa's second source of fun was causing others pain.
And with this, she turned slowly to the girl, her eyes dark, a razor sharp smile on her face.
She was no longer using her veela charm.. No, this was her darker, raw side coming out.
"Is that the best you've got?" She said smoothly, yet with an icy tone.

Lexi found it hilarius this girl thought she was "so cool". "Hell no. More were that came from." she whispered. "That, dude, was hot." she grinned, doing a little bounce on the spot. "Something the whole school should know about. If they don't already that is" she giggled to herself quite loudly.

The monster began to snarl. The darkness inside Larissa moving up towards her throat.
It was going to happen tonight and very soon.
"I think you need to learn to keep you mouth shut." Larissa said, her tone venomous from an acid tongue.
She could feel it pounding and clawing against her insides..
"Now run along before something catches you." Her eyes glinted in the darkness.

It was winter but Lexi had a habit of wearing short dresses. She started doing a little dance in her black high heels. Inapropriate but fasionable. "Ill do what i like thanks" she continued to dance, making a mental note to post on the common room bullitin board.

That was it. That was when the world became fuzzy and her throat hurt..
Something was pushing and..
Larissa's eyes widened in horror as her face began to pull and stretch..
Her arm felt peculiar.. Scaly, even.. And then feathers sprouted from her arms, scaly feathers.
Larissa had never had this happen before..
It was only then she realized that in place of her nose and mouth she had.. a beak.
Larissa was truly shocked but something seemed to be taking control of her.
she still had hands and in them appeared balls of fire.
"What the-.." But when Larissa tried to say this, a high pitched, shrill noise emanated.
