Ai Edogawa was now getting herself ready for the Yule Ball. With all that had happened in her fifth year, she was more than eager to have some happy time during the Yuletide season and finally spend Christmas happily. She did deserve it after all. Or did she not? Surely she did for she had no brother at the time, she and her friend having some awkward air around them, she had less and less time to spend with her boyfriend. She had gotten sick lately and was a bit close to death at one point or more! Yep. She definitely needed and deserved a day off! Besides she'd be spending her Christmas with the Tsukino family and she was more than eager to be reunited with her older brother despite not really being related by blood. Shaking thoughts out of her head, she had resumed readying herself. Nothing was going to stop her from having the time of her life.
As soon as she deemed herself ready, Ai walked out of her dormitory and walked down the common room and to the Great Hall gracefully. She had grown well, and it showed as she walked through the walls of her known home for the past four years. She wore not a too elegant of a dress and chose quite a simple one that she had thought had fit her well. Her confidence with herself for the night showed as she entered the Great Hall and the smell of food and the cheery atmosphere of the celebration welcomed her. She smiled at this. Never did she get tired of attending the Yule Ball. She only hoped that Heath would come this year. She really didn't want to force him into going to the Ball with her but still, she wanted to spend time with him on the happy celebration but then again, she had already been readying herself for the worst, if ever Heath had decided to just stay in his room. The Hufflepuff prefect resumed her little walk amongst the crowd, taking a look if he would ever recognize anyone there.
