Soak Up The Sun

Ready to start the new term off right, Anna left her room clad in one of her typical summer ensembles with her favorite muggle magazine, bottle of fingernail polish, and her favorite fleece blanket in hand. The freshly cut green grass sparkled their welcome in the sunlight as she made her way down the stairs and onto the Great Lawn. After scoping out the perfect spot that gave her the best balance to sun and shade, Annamarie unfolded her blanket and spread it neatly over a clear patch of grass. Ahhh nice… She loved summer and was planning to soak as much of the season in as she could. It most definitely beat out suffering through another New England winter.

Anna sat cross-legged in the middle of her blanket and eagerly flipped open her magazine. She quickly scanned the pages until she found the section on love and relationships, her favorite. Perfect… Her eyes lingered over a glossy page that was titled “17 Quiz – Are You a Flirt?”. Annamarie hastily circled her answers and added up her score. The results read:

Anna rolled her eyes and grabbed her bottle of fingernail polish. Too friendly? High-fiving! she thought to herself, irritated that she put so much stock in those stupid quizzes. She brushed a few strokes on her big toenail. Too friendly…humph…ambiguously nice maybe is a better term. Truth be told scared and clueless probably fit the best. “Ridiculous…” Annamarie continued to paint her toes lost in her own thoughts.
