Last year had been Darcy's first year at Hogwarts New Zealand and she hadn't really known what to expect for things like the Yule Ball. But now that she saw how peopled dressed up for the event, she wanted to look good as well. Her dress last year had been a bit more casual so she wanted to wear a full length dress to make her look classier. She could never go wrong with a black dress but it not a simple black dress, which she liked. The Slytherin made sure her hair looked good before leaving the dungeons and heading up for the great hall. She walked in and looked around at how beautiful the whole hall looked, with snow falling gently down on them and melting away without a trace. The redhead held out her hand and caught a few snowflakes in her hand before they vanished, and smiled.
