Hilde headed down to the pitch, her quidditch gear in hand. She was supposed to be meeting up with Joceline for a bit of extra practice. As one of the team captains, Hilde was asked to help the newer chaser out with her skills. The girl had potential, otherwise she would not have made the team, but when Joceline asked for extra practice help, Hilde was not one to turn her away.

Setting her things down by a team bench, Hilde took a seat to wait for her teammate, stretching her legs out in front of her to catch a bit of the late morning sun.

Joceline had been a bit nervous about approaching one of her Quidditch Captains for a bit of extra training as she felt that she was still keeping the team back and didn’t want to have that feeling hanging over her if they ever got to play any games. She had decided to ask Hilde for some help as she was a girl and in the same year as Joceline, whereas Theodore seemed a lot more meaner and intimidated Joceline no end, plus he was Head Boy so he probably had enough on his plate to have to worry about training a silly little girl.

With her broom in hand Joceline made her way down to the pitch and picked up her pace a bit as she saw that Hilde was there already. “Hi Hilde, sorry if I kept you waiting.” she said apologetically, knowing that being late wouldn’t be a good first impression. While being in the same house and year as Hilde, Joceline had never really talked to the girl before.

Hilde lifted her head to look at the girl that had just approached her. "No worries. I haven't been here long at all. Besides, its such a gorgeous day. Perfect for flying actually." She smiled and then stood up slowly. Taking hold of her bag she opened it and pulled out a quaffle and her goggles and gloves, setting them on the bench. "So, did you have anything in particular you wanted to work on today?" Hilde looked at her classmate, not really sure where to start. The two girls were in some of the same classes, but really had never spoken outside of practice sessions on the pitch. This was the first time they were ever together by themselves.

Joceline breathed a sigh of relief when Hilde confirmed that she hadn’t been waiting long. Joceline was always one to be punctual so keeping someone waiting for anything, no matter how small, wouldn’t sit well with her. Joceline gazed up at the clear blue skies, “It is a good day.” she said, agreeing with Hilde – happy that it looked like a peaceful day of sorts because no doubt this was going to frustrate Joceline if things didn’t go her way. Considering her lack of flying experience she didn’t really know how this was going to go for her but she hoped it would go well as she didn’t want to embarrass herself in front of one of her captains and she liked being on the Quidditch team. When Hilde asked her what Joceline wanted to work on she shrugged lightly, “I suppose just general techniques when handling the quaffle.” she said, unsure of a lot of things but enough to do her in the try-outs seemingly.
