Sixth Years, Lesson Six

Professor Haden was currently busy grading papers and students and preparing for exams. He was working hard on them as the students began to appear, he greeted them warmly, waiting until they'd all arrived before standing up, "Morning all," the professor said brightly. "No lesson for today. So you might as well use this for self-study. Here or the library is fine, but here's a piece of parchment for you to sign on, so I will know who was present and who was absent. I'll be here for the entire lesson, so come to me with questions or if you need any extra help. When the hour is over, you may leave," he told them and with a wave of his wand a parchment landed on the nearest student's desk.

Theo entered the classroom, maybe just a little surprised that this had turned into a study hour - or as he liked to call it, slacking hour. Well, he supposed he could practice that Hover Charm some more, but he maintained that the loss of control was totally not his fault. Still, since they were allowed to leave anyway, maybe he should just take his chances with classmates. "Hey Bailey," he whisper-yelled none too subtly. "Wanna study with me in the library?" he said, eyebrows waggling. He was pretty sure he was going to be rejected at worst, and thrown a book at best. Maybe. Can't say he didn't try at least. Still, after he signed his name on that parchment he was definitely going to be leaving the room, hopefully with someone. "See you at the exams Professor, hope you won't make it too hard for us!"

Mikael entered the classroom, fully expecting the self-study session that was to come. It was a common enough theme in Hogwarts New Zealand so it wasn't at all surprising. Signing his name on the parchment, he walked out of the classroom without so much as a word. Maybe he could go sit with Elio while his boyfriend studied.

Fraser walked into the charms classroom and took his spot in the room. It wasn’t too surprising that this was a self-study class, and he just opened his books and got to work going over everything they had learnt in the last semester of the class. He packed up his things and then headed out the room when he could.

Bailey wasn’t in the classroom long before Professor Haden informed them there would be no class and they were free to go off and study somewhere else. Bailey was in the process of putting her things back in her bag when Theo decided to be creepy and invite her to the library to ‘study’. She sighed at his raised eyebrows and scoffed, “Shove off Theo,” She grabbed her bag and made her way to the library very much without Theo.[/B]

Hinata entered the classroom, giving a polite bow to the professor before heading to her seat. It was unsurprising that they would be having a revision class. It was quite a common practice in Hogwarts New Zealand. She did bite her lip at Theo coming on to Bailey, which had been going on for a semester and Merlin was Mikael's cousin persistent. She had no doubts it would continue until next semester. It was a good thing Hinata hadn't bothered to pack as both Mikael and Bailey walked out, though surprisingly headed in the same direction and she chased after them to study with either of them.

June made her way to the classroom and found her usual spot in the front. As she already thought Misha told them they would have no lesson today, not lecture at least. She decided to stay in the class and do some self study there. So in case needed she could answer some questions. And signed the form that she was present in class. The blonde went over her notes from the first class until the last, and she was almost finished when the class was over. And would perhaps even continue later on in the libary. June waved to Misha and left the room.
