Kale walked down to the lawn with his Sienna Storm still strapped to his shoulder, beaters bat in his hand and his pack hanging from his back, he was really bummed out that the game ended up being cancelled because of lack of players on the opposing team.

Kale tossed his pack onto the floor and sat on the grass, the lawn was empty; thanks to everyone still loitering around at the quidditch pitch. Sitting under the shade of the tree, he twiddled his thumbs; thinking about nothing in general.

Sophia had been walking in swift strides back to the castle, not entirely paying attention to what was in front of her. Her mind was occupied and she was not pleased with the outcome of the game. Suddenly Sophia stepped forward, but her right foot did not land on grass but instead something much more pliable, Kale's leg.

A gasp escaped Sophia's lips as she jumped backward, her left hand immediately going to her mouth. "Kale, I am so sorry. Are you all right?" She bent down closer to him, trying to inspect the damage.

Estrella was in a frenzy looking for Kale, the whole school in an uproar over the cancellation of the game. When she finally found him on the lawn, however, she saw him sitting there, seemingly chatting with Sophia.

Although she was never inclined to be jealous about something like relationships, Estrella felt a surge of something, was it jealously? pass through her for a moment, but then she took control of her emotions and let it go. She had to be mature about these things; she couldn't let her emotions usurp her.

She approached them, smiling weakly and nodding to the both of them. "Kale. Sophia." She knew that they must both be disappointed about the forfeit. "Sorry about the game; I was looking forward to it."

Kale was sitting quietly and watched the birds up above him, when out of the blue he felt someone step on his leg. "AhhOwww!" Kale exclaimed while bolting up out of a daydream and immediately grabbing a hold of where Sophia had stepped. When he looked up, Sophia was standing there, bending down to look at his leg. "No, no, its alright Sophia.." he said while rubbing the pain out of it, it wasn't that bad...more unexpected than anything.

Kale sat up when he noticed Esrtella approaching them, "Hi Estrella" Kale said with a smile, he noticed the weak look upon her face and his smile faltered slightly, "Is everything alright?" Kale inquired.
(act as if this was added to the first lol :p )

Ford was walking up to the castle from the quiddich pitch. His first game as captain and they didn't even play. He had gotten completely pyched up for this, with nothing to follow it up. With his broom over his shoulder he walked up to Kale, Sophia, and Estrella. "Nice game guys," he said, the slightest edge to his voice revealed his anger at the results of the game. He muttered something under his breath, the only audible word was Hufflepuff, though.

"Heya Captain" Kale greeted, his attitude getting worse as the moments passed by. "I agree completely..." Kale muttered about Ford's barely audible comment on Hufflepuff and continued, "We don't even get points toward the cup!" he said while shaking his head and rolling his eyes.

Sophia returned to her feet when Kale assured her he was fine. She turned to Estrella and gave her a nod of greeting, and then one to Ford as he appeared.

"Well, I really should be going," she said hastily, not seeming quite as sure as was normal for her. Sophia gave the three a nod and turned, starting to walk back toward the castle.

"I'm fine," Estrella replied, hardening her disposition. "Yeah, I'd be pretty mad too. That was a mite disappointing." She watched Sophia as she walked away, unsettled as always by her standoffishness, and then turned back to Kale and Ford. "I'm almost starting to think we should go back to club teams."

(As I understand it, Slytherin gets a win in the standings as a result of the forfeit by Hufflepuff.

The current standings would probably be something like this:

Slytherin 1 win, 0 losses, 0 ties (probably 10 points scored)
Gryffindor 0 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie (0 points scored)
Ravenclaw 0 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie (0 points scored)
Hufflepuff 0 wins, 1 loss, 0 ties (0 points scored)

I think that the top place team after the round robin gets a bye to the Quidditch Cup and that 2nd and 3rd place play a one game semi-final to see who gets to play the top team. The 4th place team after the round robin would be eliminated. I'm not sure if that's right or not, but that's the way I have read the recent stuff)

Ford noticed Sophia walking away, as much as he would have liked to stay and chat, he wanted to keep a friendship with Sophia. "I'm out. See you two later," he waved dryly and walked off behind Sophia.

((Yay! We have a win! Too bad we didn't do anything for it besides show up. :(( ))

Kale sat with an awkward look on his face, looking at the others who were standing around him. As Sophia got up and decided to leave he nodded at her and waved goodbye as Ford followed after her, "See you two around" Kale said his tone quieter.

At that, he looked at Estrella and gave her a small grin, "I think club teams would've been good too, I miss being on the same team as you."

(Ohhh cool, thanks Bru :D)

"Me too," Estrella said, laughing, "I still think even if we keep house teams, we should get back together for a grudge match against the Valkyries. We still owe them big time." She grinned evilly. "Sorry again about the game."

"Yeah, we'd win for sure!" Kale said with a wink and wrapped his arm around Estrella, "The game that we did have against them, went way too fast." he said blinking.

Kale smiled at Estrella warmly, "Its alright. And don't apologize, you weren't the one who made the game not go through." he said laughing and looked at her with a suspicious expression, "Did you lock up all of those Hufflepuffs in a room so they couldn't make it?!"

"Yep!" Estrella laughed, cackling mock evilly, like a witch in a muggle kids show. "I turned on a radio and put 'I'm a little teapot' on repeat one, so they have to listen to it over and over again." She rolled her eyes, then chuckled. "But really, I do think we should consider waiting for house teams until a few years. That way, we can tell who's dependable or not."

Kale laughed quite louder than he expected himself to with his crappy mood; Estrella always seemed to know how to make him feel better. With a smile on his face he gazed at her, "Oh, Merlin...I wouldn't be able to live more than five minutes in that room!" he said, rolling his eyes and his voice oiled with his usual sarcasm.

"I think club teams would be a good idea. All of this forfetting and not playing actual quidditch is killing me." Kale shrugged and was quiet for a moment, looking up at the birds in the tree above them; he then looked back at Estrella and grinned, "Ohh..I knew that I was forgetting something.." he leaned in and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek and scooted closer to her, "..now thats better." Kale said with a goofy smile on his face, he couldn't help it..Estrella had him wrapped around her cute little finger.

"How are you feeling now?" Kale inquired, knowing that she was fwwling under the weather earlier in the week.

((do you have a lisp? :p ))

"Well, at least I know how to torture you now!" Estrella chuckled, grinning evilly. She loved when he was sarcastic, always having a comeback to what she said.

"Yeah, not to mention the fact I wasn't able to play last game," Estrella said bitterly, "I would rather prefer more organized teams, to tell you the truth. I miss the assault." She grinned, kissing him back. "It's a good thing you remembered," she said quietly, enjoying the moment.

"I'm feeling just fine now," Estrella replied, beaming. He always knew how to make her feel better.

"Those were the good ol' days.." Kale sighed as if reminiscing the good things that came from the assault. He missed playing with Bruin and the others, especially Estrella. Kale smiled at Estrella and put his arm around her, "Well, thats good, I'm glad that I could help." he said flirtily with a wink and gave her another kiss, this time on the lips; Kale couldn't help but smile.

Estrella couldn't help but grin, and even though she had been with Kale for close to a half year now, she still felt the color rushing to her cheeks. She hugged him back, meeting his kiss with enthusiasm, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the moment.

After they had pulled away, she snuggled up close to him, grinning broadly. "Damn, you're a good kisser," was all she could say, laughing.

Kale rested his head on the top of hers when she placed hers on his shoulder, he laughed nervously at Estrella's kissing comment; that very moment he could feel his ears beginning to turn bright red and it quickly moved to his cheeks. Kale smiled at her, "Now is that so?" he inquried jokingly; trying to get his cheeks to cool down. "Y-Y-You're a g-g-ood h-hisser too." he blurted out; stuttering Wait, what? Hisser? Kale stared at Estrella with a sudden urge of panic in his voice, "Kisser!" he laughed awkwardly, why did she always do this to him? Kale's palms were beginning to feel swaety and he could feel a mini heartbeat in his Adams Apple, What is going on?!

He tried himself to calm down, Kale covered up his nervousness with a smile; hoping that she wouldn't catch on...even though he'd already screwed up on that part.

Estrella roared in laughter, loving how cute Kale looked when he got embarrassed. She stuck out her tongue, wagging it around like a video of, oh, who was the guitarist in Kiss? Gene Simmons, that's it; and hissing wildly. "Oh yesssssssss, I'm a great hissssser," she said, cackling, rubbing her palms together like Gollum. "You are my preciousssss." She fell back onto the ground, laughing wildly. Why was it always when she was with Kale, she ended up falling on her arse? She didn't know. But the Lord of the Rings crack had cheered her up considerably, and hoped it would to Kale too.

Wait, she thought to herself,he probably doesn't know what I'm making a parody of. Oh well. She loved him all the same.

Kale found Estrella's snake and Gollum impressions rather disturbing, with an arched brow he looked toward her; not having a clue what she was doing, "What was that?" he asked with a loud laugh. Kale began to pick at the grass and collect it all in a pile, for some reason he found something as weird as that...calming. He looked at Estrella, hoping that she was eager to clear up his confusion.

Estrella snorted. "I always forget, because I grew up around muggles," she explained, laughing, "Gollum was a character in the Lord of the Rings, one of the muggle books I got down at Flourish and Blotts," she grinned, "And he is totally obsessed over the one ring, calling it his precious. And, he speaks, with a lot of hissing in his voice." She giggled, knowing that she had probably just confused him all the more.

Kale arched his brow, his expression getting even more confused than ever, "Wait, so theres just this crazy man who obsesses over the ring...and hisses?" he inquired trying to get a better understanding of the story that she was trying to explain to him.
