Open Simple Cats

[Mazikeen Roe]

Mazikeen liked halloween enough that she always went to it. It was usually the sort of event that she attended. She had decided that being a prefect meant she definitely had to go, so despite having a pretty poor costume of a cat, with just some drawn on whiskers and a set of cat ears she was dressed relatively normally. She hadn’t planned to go before, just because she knew she would have a lot of work to do with her owls, but it wasn’t proving to be nearly as much as she thought. The teen knew it was a little awful her costume, but she didn’t really mind, she could have fun regardless. The gryffindor prefect walked into the hall and found the snacks table, she looked over all of the options and picked a little sweet before heading to the drinks table and getting one of those too. She was looking forward to what fun there could be had at this event. She just had to finish her juice and her snack and despite having no one to spend the time with she would head out to the dance floor and dance the night away. ​

 

[Zoe Westwick]

Zoe loved Halloween, and there was never a year she wasn't excited about her costume. This year was a bit simpler than some of the outfits she had put together in the past, but walking through the Great Hall, Zoe was definitely having a lot of fun. It was nice to wear something less bulky than her previous costumes and feel like she could really explore the party. She was hoping to see Teddy at some point, and wish him a happy birthday, but she doubted he would have taken her advice to dress up like an actual teddybear. As she made her way across the hall, Zoe spotted a girl wearing a very similar costume, pausing to give her a cheerful wave, holding her hand like a cat's claw. "Meowdy!" Zoe said cheerfully. "Your costume is purrrrrfect!"

Mazikeen looked up as someone waved and did a little meow like a cat. She couldn’t help the little giggles from the girl’s joke. It had been a pretty silly but fun pun for her to make. ”As is yours,” Maze had never been funny like that and she had also not wanted to just copy what the other girl was say either. She looked at this girl’s cat costume and could see that she had perhaps put in a little more work than Maze had. ”That’s a better costume than mine, so much better. I love it,” she complimented with a happy smile. Mazikeen reached out a hand to the other cat, ”I’m Maze,” she introduced, it was always fun to meet new people at this sort of event, People that her life would not necessarily interact with.​
