As if
Jared had found himself in Italy. He had been asked by a music company to do a little touring at a few places, it was nothing big but he got to travel to a few different countries for free and got to show off his music skills so he was not about to complain. He was quite excited to be in a new country which he had never been before, it did however pose difficulty as he did not know much Italian. Only basic things to help him get around so he couldn't get in to a full conversation with anyone who did not speak English. He was hoping to bump in to someone who spoke English, it would be pretty cool to talk to someone from here and get to know them. He had always been one for socializing with others but languages did throw him.

Walking in to a small cafe Jared walked to the counter and ordered a coffee, simply stating the name of the drink and a thank you was about as far as he went. Once paid for he took his drink and took a seat by a window, placing the cup on the table was sat at he took out a peice of paper which had the lyrics to the song he would be singing tomorrow night. He wanted to make sure that he knew it perfectly so he didn't mess up. He began to silently sing it in his head, his lips mouthing the words as he read.

Adalyn was glad to be on break from school and back in her home city of Roma. The sights and sounds brought back alot of memories but i was nice to be home. Walking into a cafe she visited alot she ordered her usual drink of ice tea with a lemon. Going back towards the window she noticed someone, rather a guy, was sitting at her usual window barseat. Pulling up next to him she set her cup down with a clank and looked over at the guy not hiding her stares. "Hello, what's that you're reading? English, how awful for you. Looks like a song, is it?" She asked the man going off in her usual Italian spree of words, how she missed being able to speak her language.

Jared's eye shifted from the paper to the girl who had joined him at the table which he was seated at and began to talk to him, in Italian. He stared blankly at her for a moment going over what she had said to see if he recognized any of the words. He knew one, hello, the rest was just lost on him. "Urm i dont speak Italian." He said trying not to sound stupid. He felt slightly embarrassed now, what of she didn't speak English and then there would be the awkward silence or the horrible very basic language conversations which would make them sound like morons. He looked down at his cup as he decided to pick it up to give him something to do during the silence.

Adalyn's eyebrows raised when the older guy began to speak to her, she suddenly felt stupid just going right up and talking, but that was the way of her family and most the people around here. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know. Usually tourist don't come by here," she said turning to her drink and taking a sip. She hated english, yet it seemed now everywhere she went she had to speak it, which did help improve her skills at speaking it. "Um, I asked, what the paper was, it looks like a poem or lyrics to me," she said to him translating some of what she said. Of course she couldn't opening diss his language, it appeared he didn't know any of her's so it'd be easy for him to complain about italian.

Jared could have let out a sigh of relief when he heard her speaking to him in English. It was nice to be able to understand her now. He looked down at the piece of paper before handing it to her so she could take a look. "Its lyrics to a song i have to sing tomorrow night. Thats why im here actually." He said making some conversation with the girl, now that he knew she could speak English he felt easier talking to her and actually sitting at the same table as her. He was resting both of his hands on the cup lightly because too hard would most likely burn his hands as it was a just make cup of coffee after all.

Adalyn nodded looking down at the words but reading was the worse for her so she didn't take a good look at them. "You're in a cafe, to learn a song, yuo have to sing tomorrow?" She asked him, clearly confused. Being a musician herself she didn't find this place anywhere close to where she'd want to learn a song. Thinking on that fact for a second she got up from her seat and took his arm pulling him from the cafe. "Come, I know a good place for a muse to find you, if it's what you need," she said walking down the street. Turning the corner she smiled as the small unused temple stood by itself at the end of a giant overgrown garden. Spending most of her life in the city she had found many of its secrets, and this was one where she'd go to be inspired for music. Taking the older guy inside she smiled seeing her old guitar still hidden in the corner behind the enterance. "You might need this to really work on your song," she said picking it up and handing it over to the stranger before moving on and going over to an old stone bench. She was suprised he hadn't said anything about her clothing choice and how racy it was, most people did but prehaps where he came from it was a usual choice.

Jared chuckled slightly and shrugged his shoulders. The cafe was not exactly buzzing with life so there were not too many distractions. It had a cozy feel to it so he could not see what was wrong with it, but maybe she had a different opinion about what was decent and what was not when it came to practicing places. She was a native after all. "Well i already know the song, im just going over it so i don't mess up tomorrow." He explain in vain as she grabbed his arm and took him out of the cafe, leaving his drink almost untouched. "But i-i-i have a muse." He said quietly, more to himself than to her. As he was dragged around a corner he saw a sort of temple like building which was half hidden by a tree line. It was an amazing building to look at, better than a little cafe which he had just been at. As the girl began to speak to him again and handed him a guitar Jared decided not to argue, it was practice and practice made perfect after all. "Okay then." He said before sitting on the bench and plucking a few cords, too see what tune it would play. After a bit of tuning Jared began to sing and play the tune he would be playing. It was reassuring that he got it right, no mistake was the amount of mistakes he liked to make. "How was that?" He asked her curious to hear her opinion on his music and singing voice. He had taken singing lesson when he was younger so he was good with getting the right pitch and such. "Oh and im Jared." He said decided that now was probably a good time to introduce himself.
