This wasn't Amory's first Yule Ball by a long shot, but it was one of the only one's he was attending alone so far. He'd asked if his best friend Fifi had wanted to go with him just o take a look around, but the traitor had other plans. The blasphemy. He'd decided to go on his own, looking as delightful as ever. Scanning all the students he did notice Felix with that short third year he'd heard about, whatever floated his boat. Stuffing one of his hands to the pockets of his trousers the fourth year used the hand remaining free to get himself a drink, with that in hand he turned around to watch the people. Amory wasn't against dancing, but he wouldn't do it on his own so staring at all the others doing so would have to work.
