Fabiano Santiago-Cruz was out of school once again. The third year found it annoying that he was always getting pulled out of school by his parents. Did they not care about his education at all? Why was he expected to get top notch grades when he was always out of school? It annoyed him. Fabio grabbed his book filled backpack from the kitchen table and headed out the door. He was stuck babysitting, but his younger siblings were sleep, and his parents would be home soon. He knew it was a bad decision, but he wanted out of his life for just a moment. That excuse would not go down well with his father, but his father never liked him in the first place. Fabio shut the door quietly and made sure it was locked and secure. He took out his new pair of earbuds and stuck them in his ear. He had to get a new pair after that brat of a girl lost them in Australia. He was so mad when that happened, and the ringing in his ears lasted for awhile after that. Antonello was, strangely, kind enough to get him a new pair. He liked his half-brother for only that moment though. He did not want Antonello to think that he liked him or anything because he still hated the spoiled brat. At least he had a mother that cared for him dearly. Fabio adjusted his earbuds. He was now on the streets of Rome. His head was filled with the smells of meat, pasta and tomatoes. He had been around the smells his whole life, but he still would never get used to how delicious his hometown smelt.

Fabio was a walker. He had no problem walking for long periods of time. He actually loved it. He was not necessarily a guy that liked to workout. He was tall, but he was also lanky and kind of scrawny. His father and older brother were tall and well-built, but Fabio did not have much an appetite. He was a "softy" to all of his family. He often got compared to some of the girls in his family. He just simply studied more than he ate. His favorite foods usually contained apples. Most of those were deserts, so he was much more likely to get fat than to get well-built and fit. Fabio came to a shoe store. It was not a popular shoe store, but the man who owned the store was a half-blood, so he was able to help him with some of his homework if he needed it. He walked into the store, and he was greeted by Antonio, the owner. "Do you need any help today?" he asked Fabio with a smile and a pat on the back. He shook his head. "Just a quiet place." he told him softly. His voice was not loud. It was very soft and gentle, except when he was yelling. He walked over to a table a little bit away from Antonio's working area. Normally, the table was not there, but Antonio always set it up when he felt that Fabio was coming over. The two had a weird relationship and connection with each other. It was not really explainable.

It was the wee hours of the night but CiCi was walking the strip of Rome, Italy alone, determine to find an open shoe store. The shoes that her mom ordered for the fashion show arrived but got them only nine instead of ten and it was just delivered to them. The fashion show starts at eleven o'clock in the morning. Dressed in her white and tan dress with the ribbon flower as the waist band and white pumps, she stopped every five minutes to massage her ankle which is a bit hurting from walking.

Finally, while walking down two miles away from the hotel she was staying. An open shop shine from the lights, CiCi smiled and almost run to the store. Once she got in front of the said shop, CiCi hit the jackpot, it was a shoe store for everyone. She looked at the window and the shoes she like was there in display, CiCi then checked her bag for her credit card and everything to pay for it and she was good to go when she saw it all cleared up.

The young girl went inside and went straight to the register to ask the store keeper if they have any stock of the shoes that was displayed at the window. She then noticed a boy at the side of the store, ear buds on both of his ears. CiCi approached the boy slowly and tap the boy's shoulder. She wanted the shoes fast and she is a bit irritated that some owners of a shop wasn't there all the time, not like her mom's shop in NY and her dad's law firm in NY as well. They always work on their shop and firms, they are actually there.

Fabio was deep into his studies. When he was able to get some peace and quiet he was able to access his inner genius. The inner genius his father forced him to create. He finished his report on Herbology. Now, he decided to work on his short essay for Defense Against the Dark Arts. This class was something Fabio considered easy. He was very good at defensive spells. He was not very good at offensive spells. Now, his definition of not good was not a normal person's definition. Fabio was great at all of his classes. The boy just held himself to crazily high standards. He knew the standards he held himself to were ridiculous, but he had to know more than anybody else. When he told himself knowledge was power they were not just idle words. He meant them from the bottom of his soul. Fabio dipped his quill in ink and started to write. Perfect grammar, vocabulary, sentence length, handwriting, and voice were importan since it was a small essay. He only was able to use a limited amount of words. He did not hear the bell ring to let him know someone had came in. He was too focused on his work to worry about someone bothering him. Surely, Antonio was still there in the shop. Fabio felt a tap on his shoulders. The boy sighed and took out his earbuds. He looked to see a girl standing there. He stood up and scanned the shop with his eyes. No Antonio. Fabio looked back at the girl. "Something you want?" he asked the girl. His soft voice reducing his manliness level down several notches.
