Callie was sure that day one of seventh year, was too early to start the study group up. But Callie also knew that this were about to be near impossible exams. She had a lot of classes too, having never really narrowed her magical interests down, but she was eager to just get to a point where she could decide where she'd go next. Callie grabbed a table near to the back of the library, where they could get away with it, and started spreading out her various books and notes, and got started on revising. She'd put notices up in the other houses, but was pretty sure, at this point in the year she'd be the only one.

Lucy had given up her parents' dream of Lucy being a healer. Last semester had sealed that, but that didn't mean Lucy didn't take studying seriously. She'd generally gotten good grades across school and studied hard - her love of knowledge helped with that. When she'd seen the notice for a study group, Lucy had been taken aback. Day one? Really? But Lucy also knew that studying at a manageable pace from the very start was a good idea. Especially since she figured a lot of NEWTs would be covering not just new stuff from this year, but years before.

Lucy entered the library, looking around for signs of the study group. It happened to be quiet, seeing as the year had only just begun and the library population tended to grow steadily as the semesters went on. Lucy spotted Callie in the back eventually, giving a small 'ah!' of recognition as she approached. They'd not talked very much, but Lucy recognised her from classes at the very least. "This the study group for seventh years?" Lucy asked politely, pulling out a chair but not taking a seat yet.

It was going to take some getting used to walking into the library and not finding Hugo stuck in some corner with a book. Teddy missed his boyfriend more than he wanted to admit, but between Quidditch and his new head boy duties, he hadn’t really had time to think on it much until he walked into the library for the first time, and remembered that Hugo definitely wasn't here.

He put the thoughts of of his mind because it wasn't like Hugo was dead or anything, just graduated. Instead he thought about the amount of work he had this year since he still hadn't dropped any subjects. He thought the study group might help so he headed over to Callie and Lucy and said “Hey Lucy! Hi Callie. I saw your notice, mind if I join you too?” of course it would be the head boy and head girl getting in on an early study session. He wondered if anyone else would join them.

Callie smiled as the two people she might've expected to join her did. There was a reason they were the top students after all. She nodded. "This is, and yes," she replied to first Lucy and then Teddy. "I figured with NEWTs there was no better time to get started than immediately." she told them both, though she was sure they both did not need her to. "I'm pretty sure no one else will join us," she added.

Lucy took a seat, smiling at Callie. "What subjects are you guys taking, then?" Lucy asked. She knew she was probably taking the least amount out of the pair - Lucy really hadn't done that well in sixth year. She was trying to avoid thinking about it, but it kept creeping into her mind. "And you never know, more might come along still!" Lucy said, trying to reassure Callie, though she honestly wasn't sure herself. She was trying to remember if there were any real study-types in their year. For Audrey, it was a coin flip if she'd show. Marley, maybe. The rest of the seventh years? No one really came to mind for Lucy but she could be surprised - although it really wasn't lost on Lucy that this was very early in the year to have a study session.

Marley knew she couldn't miss out on an opportunity when it came to group studies, considering she had hosted one or two herself. The Hufflepuff knew she needed all the help and study she could get, especially with being in her final year at school. The Hufflepuff had noticed a few notices around the school for the study sessions. The girl made her way into the library, looking for any familiar faces around, grinning when she immediately found her classmates. "Hi guys! This is the study group, right? Hope I'm not too late?" Marley says with a grin and waves. She had hoped she wasn't too late, but she was happy to come back another time if there was another study group planned.
