Seventh Years, Lesson one

Professor Vader Hum sat at his desk, thinking about the upcoming class of seventh year students. He stood as the students began filing into the classroom, taking their seats. The young-looking professor smiled at his students. “Welcome, welcome! I am Professor Vader Hume," He smiled around the room.

“This is your last year of History of Magic - your NEWTs are at the end of the year, as I’m sure you know by now. This year we’ll be going over the Goblin and Giant wars, and their impact. We also will be going over the modern dangers of the Scitorari, who they are and what they have done. After that we’ll be revising for your NEWTs.” He looked around the room, noting more than one unhappy face at the idea of revision.

“I know revision is a bit boring, but it’s good to remind ourselves of first and second year material that we may have forgotten over the years. If you have any questions or issues with your assignments, remember that I’m in my office unless I’m teaching, so feel free to stop by for any help you might need! Remember that NEWTs decide your future - so don’t expect an easy ride, unfortunately.” He smiled around at them. “Well, that’s enough for our first class. Remember to bring note-taking supplies next class!”

Assignment: RP the lesson.

Violet had enjoyed her break in between semesters, but she couldn’t help feeling as though it had been too short. At least there was only one more semester of Hogwarts before her studying was done for good. With a sigh, the Ravenclaw just headed to her classes. She entered the History of Magic Classroom and took her usual seat. The professor introduced himself before briefly going over what new topics they'd be covering and mentioning as well that they'd be doing a lot of revision. Violet didn't mind this as she didn't feel she had it in her to try and fit more information in her head. She thanked the professor for the lesson before heading to her next class.
