Seeing Double

Mila was glad that she had made plans with a friend to meet up at the Yule Ball because she could never have gone on her own. Their plan was to find one another in the Great Hall to avoid the lines of boys waiting for their dates because they weren't really dates. They were friends! The girl hadn't even thought that her sister would think of doing the same as she grabbed a drink and saw Marisol with her friend's cousin. It was a bit funny to watch the two of them together and with new found protectiveness the youngest Woods watched over her as she took a sip of her drink and waited for Elliot. The two were sure to have such a fun time together though Cammy did wonder what Stella was up to.

Elliot was happy that Camila agreed on going to the yule ball with him as friends because he did not feel like going to such an event all by himself. He had no idea where she would be so figured that the easiest thing to do was to go to the drinks table in the hope that the girl went to wait for him there. He smiled when he spotted his friend not far away from the table and hurriedly walked towards her. ''Mila!'' the young Gryffindor said happily, and smiled brightly.

Camila looked away from her sister and the Murphy boy to see her favourite Murphy boy calling her name. The girl quickly wrapped her arms around him and said, "Elliot, hi!" After taking a step back she flattened her maroon dress and looked at the boy and wolf whistled playfully. "Looking good, Murphy." She grinned at him so happy to be there with her friend, especially someone who was fun. Someone who went into an actual haunted house with her could only be fun company.

Elliot grinned when Camila began to while and nodded appreciatively. "You don't look so bad yourself, Woods." the Gryffindor told his friend whilst getting himself something to drink as well. He turned around to stand next to her and looked into the vast room, noticing his cousin and the girl he delivered a note to at the beginning of the semester, who he know was Camila's older sister. Seeing how close those two were together it made wonder if they liked each other. Elliot nudged Camila with his elbow and asked, "Do you think they like each other?"

Camila looked back in the direction of her sister and giggled as Elliot suggested that they liked one another. "Oooh maybe," the girl said, intrigued now. She couldn't help but be happy at the opportunity to tease Marisol about it. She turned to Elliot and while laughing she said in a clear voice mocking her sister, "Asaiah I love you sooo much. Let's hug and kiss forever." It was at this point that the young girl broke into a fit of laughter as she imagined such a thing. Elliot was her friend, she couldn't imagine wanting to kiss him. That would be weird! She knew people didn't kiss their friends but maybe her sister and the boy weren't friends.

Elliot, like his friend was doing at the moment, began to laugh after hearing Camila mimick her older sister. ''Oh, Marisol.. Please, don't ever let go of me!'' he added, imitating his cousin's voice and laughing even harder. He knew that Asaiah was an oddball, but seeing him all close and dancing with his friend's older sister only made him seem even weirder. Elliot wondered for a brief moment if Camila and him would eventually do whatever it was that the fourth years were doing but quickly wiped that thought out of his mind because he simply couldn't see either her or him doing such a thing. Ever.

Camila laughed harder with Elliot at their imitations of their respective family members and the girl playfully shoved his shoulder. As their laughter subsided she noticed that the two were looking at them and the younger Woods girl rolled her eyes at her sister. If Asaiah was anything like Elliot the Ravenclaw could relax for the evening well enough because her friend seemed really trustworthy and not at all like a werewolf hunter. "Crazy, right?" the girl said before she took a sip of her drink which she finished off and put to the side, tapping her foot to the beat of the upbeat wizard song she didn't know the words to. "Want to dance?" she asked, though she wished Stella was there to dance too.

Elliot stopped laughing the moment he noticed that his cousin and his friend were looking at them. He knew that if Asaiah figured out what the two of them were doing he'd most likely receive a dungbomb in his next owl post. To avoid his cousin from coming over Elliot turned his head to Camila when she asked if he wanted to dance. A smile appeared on his face and he nodded. Dancing would only mean more fun, and that was exactly why the two of them had agreed to attend the yule ball together. To have fun. ''Of course!'' Elliot started moving lightly to the beat, and moved a little closer to the dance floor with Camila right behind him.
