Second Years Letter Six

Mallory couldn’t believe that the year had flown by so quickly. She smiled warmly as her students came into the classroom, and once everyone was seated, Mallory stood. “Hello again, my darlings. This is our final lesson of the semester before the exams. Today I would just like you to review what we’ve learned, and come to me if you have any questions about anything. Before we begin, however,” she tucked her hair behind her ear. “I would like to tell you that it has been an absolute pleasure teaching all of you this year. I have seen such remarkable improvements in all of your work. You are all growing into remarkable young witches and wizards.” Mallory smiled and moved back to her desk. “Go on, my dears, I’m here if you need anything.”

Julian went to class and was pleased to find they would be reviewing. He took a spot in the classroom to practice the spells by himself.

Huw arrived for Charms, he had struggled this semester and didn't think he would get very good grades. He used the lesson to review over his notes, then once the time was up he packed up and left the classroom.

Evan entered the Charms Classroom, excited in spite of himself for the upcoming Christmas Holidays. He always had enjoyed Christmas, and even if it meant going back to his Father's house, he would get to see Aegis, and that was important to him. Evan looked up as Professor Grayvestone stood up at the front and told them all to do some reviewing for the Exam.

So, that's what he did. He reviewed what charms they had gone over this semester, and made sure to make notes to practice them when he had the time.

Professor Grayveson didn't spent much time talk to them at the start of the lesson but what she did say was quite sweet, if not a little weird. It sounded like something you'd say if you planned to never see the students again, she'd be teaching them again next year. Once she was done Lincoln took his notes out and got to work reviewing the material from the semester. Once the lesson was over he packed everything up and made his way out of the classroom.

Theo couldn't believe that they had reached the end of the semester. It felt like the semester had whizzed passed him, which Theo thought was crazy. The boy took a seat in his usual spot once he reached his charms classroom, and took out the things he needed for the lesson. Theodore moved his attention towards the professor as she got on with the lesson. It turned out to be a revision lesson, which Theo didn't seem to mind. The Ravenclaw spent the lesson going through his notes and making new notes on things he may have missed. It wasn't long until the lesson had come to an end, and they were dismissed. Theo quickly gathered up his stuff, said a quick thanks to the professor before heading out of the classroom with his friends and the rest of his classmates.
