Season Under House Points Board?

Hey, I don't mean this in a nit-picky way, but why does the season say autumn, when New Zealand in September is early spring. Just wondering if there was a reason for that, or if they're just going by Northern Hemisphere seasons..? :huh:

Back when I was a first year (A few months ago XD) this question was brought up and I think the answer that would fit best is what said at the time.

Alicia is British and based Hogwarts NZ off of the original one that she went to school in; therefore in order to make the school's like each other a spell was placed on the grounds to make the seasons match.

I'm not sure how it could be explained outside the school, but I thought it was a pretty good way to explain the wheather thing for inside

Yea, that's a good explaination. Though it would be awkward if you brought only summer clothes, and got there when it was all snowy.

Brian, what you said is pretty much true.

Although it has been brought up before you were a first year, I think (?) Athene and Blake were the first to mention it.

Also, OOC, basically Alicia wasn't really thinking about such small things as this when she made the site and by the time she brought it up, it was too late.


And, I live in Scotland and trust me, it like never snows, so there is a little exaggeration there too, but hey.
