Rafael was glad that Abian knew the way to the library because he certainly wouldn't have found it himself, it also didn't help that the corridors were once again swamped with students walking to their classes. ''I hope we find something that will help us.'' He didn't know if such a spell even existed but figured that they wouldn't have been the only ones looking for a way to make a map of the castle, so if there was a place they would find their answer, it'd definitely be the library. It was nice of Abian to help him make the map, it would come in handy the next time one of them got lost on their way to class.

While Abian had remembered the way to the library, he hadn't actually expected to end up there so soon. But Rafael wanted to make a map, and Abian had to admit it was a good idea. With ideas like that, he wondered why the other boy wasn't in Ravenclaw. Maybe that house wasn't so much for the practical good idea having people, and more for the people that liked to study? Or maybe Amaya had been right, and the sorting was really not that big a deal. He shrugged at Raf's question. "Honestly, I have no idea where to start." He said as he gestured to the many shelves of books. "Maybe we should ask a librarian. They must have those here, right?" It would beat having to look through dozens of books.

Rafael chuckled when Abian gestured to the many shelves. He hadn't ever seen so many books together in one room and had to admit to himself that finding a spell that would help them was going to be a lot harder now with so many books. ''Unless you want to spend the next seven years reading every single book to find the right spell of course.'' the Gryffindor joked, grinning at Abian. ''But we would probably find our way through the castle a lot better by then.'' He had half expected to see a librarian walking around with the number of students currently in the library but much to his surprise didn't see anyone who looked like they would be able to help him and the Hufflepuff out. ''How do we find one, though?'' The Library was massive, surely it would take them ages.

Abian pulled a face at Rafael's reaction. "I don't even want to spend the next seven minutes reading books. It's so much easier when there's just a computer you can search things on." He said, looking around uncertainly for a magical equivalent of such a thing. No such luck. He followed Raf's gaze through the room, wondering where they would be able to find a librarian to help them. Abian suddenly got an idea. "What if we make noise? Then a librarian will probably pop up to shush us and we can ask them then." He said, grinning at the genius of his own idea.

He looked funnily at Abian when the boy mentioned a computer-thingy and shrugged it off. Although he was curious as to what it was, Rafael had more pressing matters on his mind at the moment so made a mental note to ask the Hufflepuff about a 'computer' once they had found what they were looking for. He listened to the idea and had to admit to himself that it was a rather good plan. ''IS THERE A LIBRARIAN HERE?!'' the Gryffindor shouted out of nowhere and then turned his head back to Abian. ''Like that?'' Rafael asked, grinning once more. If no adult would respond to his shouting then they'd abandon the plan for now and come back later, as there would be no reason for them to hang around at the library without anyone to help them.

Stefan liked working at the library, it kept things in his life steady. He liked dealing with the kids, though occasionally they could be quite loud, including when he heard someone shout for a librarian. Stefan decided he would go deal with that, not just to remind them to not shout in the library but they librarians were often found near the entrance to make sure things were brought back in one piece. He wandered through the aisles till he reached where two young, he assumed first year students were stood, "Were you the boys that called very loudly for a librarian?" the man asked with a friendly expression, though the implication of the sentence that they hadn't needed to or that they shouldn't sat heavy in his words. "Can I help you boys with anything?"

Abian caught the weird look Raf threw his way at the mention of a computer and felt some pity for the boy. How did one live to be eleven without ever seeing a computer? Maybe the boy would like to stay over at his place during the holidays, Abian would show him all sorts of cool things. He laughed when Raf immediately started shouting, delighted to see he didn't think his plan was dumb as he had half expected. He nodded and gave the boy a thumbs up. "Exactly like that." He said. A shout like that would be hard to ignore. Which turned out to be true! Soon, a man approached. Abian watched him a little warily, sure they would get scolded for the way they had called him. While he did emphasize the loud way they had called him, he didn't seem very mad about it. That was good. Abian nodded. "We're looking for a way to make a map. Right?" He glanced over at Raf to make sure he had understood the purpose of this visit. Raf was the one with the plan, he was just along for the ride.

He smiled brightly at Abian when a man approached the two of them and nodded his head at the question. ''That's right.'' He told Abian and then turned back to the librarian. ''We're sick of continuously getting lost on our way to class or other places in the castle. So is there a spell or something magical that can help us make a map of the whole castle?'' He asked the man. If there was a spell that could help them he doubted that the librarian would teach it to them seeing as they were still first-years and did not have enough knowledge of magic yet so hopefully the man would want to cast it on a blank piece of parchment. Rafael looked sideways to his Hufflepuff friend for a brief moment, wondering if he would join him in making the map themselves if there wasn't something that could help them. It would literally take him ages to add every corridor and hallway to the map so having company would be more than welcome.

The librarian glanced between the two boys, they wanted to make a map of some kind. He knew there had been a map of the other Hogwarts and perhaps in this school there had been attempts but there was nothing official. Nothing that could really help these boy, ”Are you both first years?” he had to imagine they were, since they were both looking for a map and getting lost, ”There aren’t any spells that could do it for you, but we have books on cartography which could help you create a map,” the man suggested wondering if that would be of interest or useful to them. He knew that most first years eventually found their way around, he certainly had.

Abian was glad when Raf explained it all a bit better than him. He nodded along with his words, looking up at the man hopefully. In Abian's mind, a librarian at a magical school would definitely know something like this. Maybe he even had a map ready for them! That would definitely save them a lot of work. But his hopes were soon dashed, and the disappointment showed on his face. "Like, the normal way? By drawing it?" He said, shaking his head slightly. "That would take ages! And we'd probably get lost while doing it." He glanced at Raf. Maybe he had a different view of things.

Rafael sighed upon hearing the librarian say that there would not be a way for them to make a map of the school with the use of magic. He figured the fact that they were just first-years would be the reason why they couldn't make one with magic but had remained hopeful nonetheless. It would indeed take them ages without magic to help speed the process, and they would get lost quite a bunch he imagined. ''It's okay.'' the Gryffindor said to his friend. Rafael certainly did not want to drag Abian into this if they would really have to draw the map themselves, as it would probably be finished halfway through their fifth year or something. ''Uh, thank you for your help, sir.'' He told the man with a small smile. ''Come on, Abian, we should get ourselves familiar with the corridors if we don't want to get lost again,'' Rafael added.

Stefan shrugged at the two boys, "There are books about this school, which might help in learning where certain things are," Stefan was sure that someone in their time at hogwarts had created a map, but they hadn't left a copy to the library. Certainly not, "Okay, have fun with it," the man said, "Try to avoid any more shouting in the library," Stefan continued before walking away to continue what he had been doing before the boys had interrupted him.
