Libby was awoken with an alarm that morning, as she heard there was important news waiting for her downstairs. Reaching the common room Libby found her family's owl in the window. Why it wasn't in the owlery she didn't know. Attached to the owl was a letter. She took unclipped it and began to read.

The letter dropped to the floor as she finished, her eyes staring out at the view. Could this really be happening, again? Coming back to her sences she picked up her jacket and the partchment and ran to the owlery. With so many questions she needed to speak to her family.

Reaching the owlery she was pleased no one else was inside yet. She had time on her own to think. Taking a seat she began to write her reply, but all she managed was a "[/]Dear[/]" before a tear managed to escape down her cheek. Wiping it away quickly and furiously, she tried to concentrate, ignoring the sound of the owlery door swinging open as she hid behind her hair.

(I know it's not very good but only way i can make so Jacob has a reason to be horrible at that moment xD and besides what the matter is with her was planned since i first made libby xD)

Jake needed to write to Hannah or she would murder him.Even after she had changed so much her threats were the same."If you don't tell me what's up at Hogwarts NZ then I swear I will kill you,Jake."

Jake hurried out of his dorm well groomed because he was not going to come back before going off to his classes. He walked across the lawn in long strides. It was hard to walk with all the snow. The morning air was crisp and Jake had forgotten to put on his jacket. However,he was used to cold weather.

He climbed up the stairs of the Owlery, which were extremely slippery. He managed up tothe tall circular room. His eyes scanned his surroundings. The Owlery was same like he had seen it last time only this time it had another visitor apart from himself.Even though her face was hidden behind her curtain of long hair,Jake knew instantly who this girl was.

"Liberty Barnett"he said in an acidic voice,"what an unpleasant surprise."he added coldly. He hated this girl for breaking his heart for someone who had once broken her heart. He had felt betrayed the day she had broke up with him and the memorty filled him with anger.

Libby instantly recognised the voice of Jacob as it was him who entered. She didn't want to turn in her chair or he'd see she'd been crying. "What, do you want?" she said, equally as unwanted. In her eyes she had done nothing wrong. They had only been going out a few days, and Jacob never seemed interested in her anyway. She tried to concentrate on her letter but she couldn't, and whipped round before glaring at him.

"For starters,I want to send a letter and I don't need your permission for doing that."he said in the same cold tone.He took four long strides across the room and took out the letter he had writen. He tied it harshly to the owls leg and let it fly away.

"However, may I ask why you were spying on me and Larissa the other day at the Lakefront?"he demanded anger pulsing through his veins. He hated to think that Liberty had seen them sharing their very private moment. But it also brought a savage pleasure to picture Liberty's annoyance.

Libby frowned. "You think.. You think i was spying on you?" she almost shouted, her voice rising at the end. "You're so ignorant. You're perfect for each other. I wasn't spying. I got there first. And until Larissa showed up i had been sitting out there on my own thank you very much." she said, now standing up from the table, looking angry. "What is you're problem Jacob?!" She shouted. "I know you were only doing it to spite me anyway. It's not like you even like her!"

"You could have walked away but you chose to sit and see what we were doing together, didn't you?"he hissed at her his voice still acidic.Liberty was very petty."I didn't even know you were under the bush until afterwards. And for your kind information Barnett,I like he more than I used to like you.Only some one desirous like you can not like her."he told her.

Jacob knew that what he had just said was completely true.He liked Larissa for what she really was.He knew just how poisonous or adorable she was and he liked her the way she was.Jake knew that it would be easy for someone like Liberty to think this was all to spite her but,HEY! The whole world didn't revolve around her!Someone needed to tell her that.

It seemed Libby had managed to get all her friends against her. Everyone she knew in her first year hated her now. "No, because i happen not to be a coward like some. I didn't walk away. If you had noticed you would of seen that i was dealing with my own bisness. And no, you're not that. Once a long time ago i might have called you a gentleman. Now i can see the real you. You deserve to be in Slytherin like the rest of them." The only slytherins she knew were spiteful and selfish. She was yet to befriend a nice one.

Libby sat back down at her table, trying to get back to her letter, but all she could think about was how her situation was. "So maybe i regret leaving you. But not now." She said glaring. "Glad i didn't get in to deep i guess" she said, her eyes on the page, burning.

It was a new year back at school and like every other year Sam had to write to his uncle telling him that both himself and Ava had settled in nicely. He didn't know why he had to do this, it wasn't like they continued to keep contact with each other during the year, yes they may send the occaisional birthday and Christmas cards but that was about it. Yet, Sam didn't ask questions. He appreciated what Colin had done for him over the past three years, taken him under his wing. He was in no way about to ask questions.

Sam brushed his hair out of his eyes as he pushed open the door to the Owlery. He was execting to find some people already there, since it was the beginning of a new term, first years would most likely want to write to their families immediately. But first years is not what he found. He found Libby and some boy he recognised from his classes, fighting is what it looked like and Libby looked upset. "Libby?" He inquired looking only at her before realizing that she was in fact upset. He looked up at the boy and glared at him, "Whats going on?" He asked once his calm blue eyes returned to Libby.

"Believe me,I'm more glad than you are."he said in a cold tone.Just then the door of the owlery opened and a boy came in.Jake's head turned to see the boy.He recognized him from some of his classes. He had also seen her with Toni once or twice. He was a Hufflepuff so obviously he knew Liberty.

"We were just having a discussion, have any problem?"he told him daring him to interfere.Jake hoped the guy wasn't here to be Liberty's ally because Jake really got pissed at people who interfered in other's matters.

Libby tried not to make contact with anyone as she heard another person enter the owlery. On hearing Sam's voice she turned, and got to his question first, "It's hardly a discussion. You seem to take every oppotunity to make things harder for me. Ive said i'm sorry, what more do you want" she said, turning back to her page. "At least some of us have friends" she muttered under her breath.

Sam looked back at the boy who had answered his question, "Funny. I don't remember asking you." He said coldly and then turned back to Libby while walking closer to her. From what Libby had said, Sam could guess that this guy was bothering her and had been for some time. "Lib? Is this guy bothering you?" He asked her softly. He had become friends with Libby in the last year and felt a certain amount of protectiveness over her, so if this guy was in fact bothering her. There was going to be trouble. Sam had grown and matured throughout the winter, he wasn't as soft as he used to be.

Using her own sleeve to dry her eyes Libby stood up from her desk and put away her things quickly before answering Sam's question. Glaring at Jacob, "Yeah." she said. She was sick and tired of Jacob poking his nose into everything she did. Making up reasons to get at her. She'd had enough of it. She wasn't going to protect Jacob anymore.

"But I can find an excuse for answering you since it's none of your business, unless you are Liberty's guard dog."he mocked. He didn't wan't to pick a fight with Sam if he was Toni's boyfriend but he wasn't going to hold back much longer.Jake had minded his behavior ever since he had arrived to Hogwarts New Zealand but the thing was he had never found someone that really asked for it."It's my choice whom I snog and if Liberty is bothered with that tell her to stop spying on me."he told the boy.

Libby tried to keep calm. "How could i have been spying on you?! We've been through this before. I was there first! Don't you get it? I don't care about you and Larissa. But why you won't leave me alone i don't know!" she said, her voice rising again and her arms were carrying her books to her chest.

"If you weren't,and don't care about me and Lissy then what are you bothered about?"he asked her."Why are you trying to set your dogs on me?"he hissed. It wasn't like was afraid of Prince but he didn't wan't to upset Toni by getting Sam into the Hospital Wing.

((Sam,no offence, Jake's just trying to set you off. This is his first fight.I am so excited.))

"Why. Won't You. Leave. Me. Alone?!" she almost shouted. How many more times would she have to tell him.

(oo all online. dis is a gd sign xD)

Sam watched uncomfortably and annoyed as the two teenagers battled it out in front of him. Sam was getting furious at this jerk, whoever he was. Sam let out a mocking laugh as the boy referred to Sam as a dog, he took a few steps to close the gap between himself and this boy. "Look pal. I think you just better back off." He said calmly but a threatening tone hinting. Sam stared at the boy in the eyes to show that he was serious about his threat. Nobody bullied or messed with his friends. Nobody.

"I can't,because you are already alone Barnett, and it's not because of me or Larissa,it's because of you!"he hissed the last word. His head turned towards Prince as he spoke up again. He was tired of him interrupting in what was none of his business.Jake pulled himself up to his full height maintaining eyes contact and said,"Or what?"he asked daring him forward.

"Or you going to bloody regret it thats what." He said visicously not backing down for even a second. His facial expression was challenging. If Jacob was going to fight, Sam was going to fight. He was a beater and was a good one at that, he had practiced all over the summer. Throwing a good punch would just come naturally to him.

Libby didn't look up. She couldn't be bothered to argue anymore. When Jacob started to dare Sam into something, Libby was suprized at Sam's reply. Was he fighting for her? Peeking through her hair she saw their expressions. This was going to be serious.

(sorry small post but libbys just watching :p)
