Ivy had been busy delivering roses all day and sheh ad been suprised that they had quidditch training. she knew that they had the big match against slytherin coming up but she had figured that both of the captains would rather spend their time with their respective head students than with the team. she didnt mind too much it wasnt like she had big valentines plans other than delivering roses. and this would help her get at least one to its right home. she had planned on giving teddy his rose before training but he had pulled felix aside with some urgent question so she rimmaged through her bag and put one of the roses in a hard cardboard tube designed for storing parchment and tied it to her broom. hoping that would protect it enough from being bettered. she had just taken the quaffle up to miss against teddys hoop. she let miles anf fraiser take the ball back down the pitch as she untied the tube and skew fairly close to the hoops. "Hey Teddy. can you save this? she called throing it gently towards teddy hoping it had survived the training so far and it had that pass would be easy for it.

Teddy wasn't taking a day off for valentines, Gryffindor had a big game coming up and they had to be ready. He watched the quaffle make it's way back down to the other end of the pitch when Ivy called for him to catch something. "Huh?" He put an arm out but it wasn't enough, and whatever she threw him was now hurtling to the ground.

it seemed roses were not made to fly. or maybe a tue with a rose in it just didnt have the sae aerodynamics as a quaffle due to its shape and weight. either way it was now plumeting to the floor. ivy dove after it as she tried not to crash into the hoops or the ground. she maanaged ot catch it. and considered putting it on the bench for after training seeing as she was laready most of the way there but decieded sheh ad ocme this far she may as well give it ot teddy. she rose up and gave it to him. 'happy valentines day Teddy. i ahve a rose delivery for you. i was going to give it to you before training. but you were busy. and this seemed like it would be more fun than it was." she said handing the yellow rose to him.
