Sidda lunged after Dan as he slid down onto the rock below and then jumped down onto the grass, but he escaped and she wobbled on the rock, trying to keep her balance. "Chubba cheeks eh? Just who do you think you're talking to, Danny boy?" she called from her precarious perch. She saw that Dan was sizing her up, noticing how petite she was, and realised again just how big he was compared to her. But she knew how to take down big guys, and she was the perfect height to do it. She felt her face and ears going red not from anger, but from annoyance at how her height disadvantaged her, and from exhilaration. She looked at the jump ahead of her, which he had made nothing of but which was much bigger for her, gulped slightly, gathered her plentiful courage, and jumped, sailing through the air, before landing with a big thud. "Oof!" she said as she landed on the ground, landing in a heap on the grass. 'Oh, cr*p, that hurts' she thought as she lay in a heap on the ground.
