Ruto had spent almost her whole time at Hogwarts avoiding the quidditch pitch. The flying part was okay, but the actual sport didn't interest her at all. However, she had no choice but to make her way there for one of her last rose deliveries. Her basket was getting empty and felt much lighter on her arm, however she felt herself becoming a little tense as the day went on and she was still unable to find these last couple of people. She had heard from someone that this next person played quidditch, so she reluctantly made her way to the pitch as she had looked everywhere else and didn't know where else to look. When she saw an older Gryffindor boy in the sky, she used her hand to shelter her eyes from the sun and looked up at him. "Hey! Are you Santiago Torres!?" she asked, hoping that it was him, or at least someone that knew him.

Santiago couldn't sit still. He never cared about Valentine's Day before, he had never had a reason to. But this year was different. He didn't want to risk running into Friday before she got his rose. He just hoped that him asking her to the dance via rose would be acceptable. He really didn't want to screw this up. The only place he was almost certain to avoid her was the pitch. Which worked for him since he could burn of his nervous energy. He swung his bat again and again, sending bludgers flying. Santiago barely heard his name but looked down and saw a girl with roses. His stomach did a flip but he didn't dive down right away. As if he thought Friday was watching and he didn't want to seem too desperate. "Who's asking?" he called back teasingly.

Roo raised an eyebrow as the Gryffindor spoke back to her. "Me, obviously." she said, a little confused. She reached into her basket and pulled out a soft pink rose. "Do you know where he is? I got this rose for him." She held it up to show him, hoping that he would help her and not waste her time, as she didn't really have much left.
