Rose for the Professor

[Professor James Cade]

As James made his way up the tower to the Astronomy professors office, he wondered who had sent the rose to him. He didn't know a lot of people who sent roses to Professors, sure he had but that had been pink, Professor Orbon's was yellow. Perhaps he would ask the man after he read it for himself. James reached the entrance to the man's office and knocked firmly on the door.

Eduardo was busy preparing for the busier of the two semesters when he heard a knock and so with a flick of his wrist and a quiet mumble of an incantation the professor charmed the door to open wandlessly and looked up to see a student he didn't know. Perhaps one of a younger year to discuss with him the possibility of taking fifth year Astronomy which Professor Orbon was endlessly happy for. "Come in, come in," he said with a smile. "What can I do for you?" The Cuban man smiled expectantly while he fiddled with his quill, admittedly he had forgotten it was the eve of Valentine's Day.
