Rose for a Gryffindor (Yellow)

The bulk of her roses had been delivered so Olivia just needed to make a pit stop at the Gryffindor table. She knew of Kauri and could at least pick him out of the crowd of Gryffindors so she wouldn't have to shout his name. She made her way across to the table where he was sitting. "Here," She said bluntly.

Rose delivery day was always a busy time for Kauri, and he didn't generally get long to eat. So he was shoveling food into his mouth much more recklessly than he usually would, eschewing manners in favour of haste. He had just taken an unfortunately large mouthful when he heard someone speaking to him, looking up in surprise at the sight of the rose. "OGHB!" Kauri garbled around his inhuman mouthful of sandwich, quickly grabbing his drink to wash it down so he could speak to the girl properly. "Thank you!" He said brightly, accepting the rose and looking at its card with a warm smile.

Olivia smiled awkwardly at the boy as she handed him the note and rose. "Well happy valentines," She said awkwardly and walked away from the table.

"Thank you!" Kauri said cheerfully as he accepted the rose, excited to be getting a rose of his own. He opened the card, smiling warmly at the message. He was so grateful to have Norton as a friend, and made a mental note to find the Hufflepuff and thank him later on.
