It had taken Hoshi several years to get it perfect but she had actually managed to make Wind Boarding work for her. She had been cooped up in the castle for too long it seemed because she took field at a run. She ran up to the highest point in the Quidditch stands and lept off with her broom tossed out in front of her. Hoshi didn't know how this would work because all she had ever done was take off from the ground.
For a moment Hoshi thought that she was going to kiss dirt when she put her foot in the front and the broom did and sort of revere nose dive. She screamed and laughed as she made the broom become level. There was an element of danger that she knew came with doing this kind of thing but in Hoshi's eyes that's what made it all the more fun. She wondered if anyone had seen any of this but then realized that she didn't really care.
