After thoroughly having a good time at the feast and then unexpectedly winning the award for Best Overall Costume last year, Lennon was quite eager to attend this year's Halloween Feast. However, as was in his nature, he was also worried that this year wouldn't live up to the events of last year. Already he was setting himself up for a night of comparisons because the costume he threw together tonight seemed so uninspired and cheap compared to the elaborate astronaut suit he wore last night.
Still, the Ravenclaw tried not to dwell on the differences because if not he would end up cheating himself out of enjoying this night. At least he had a prop again to keep himself busy with. But as soon as Lennon reached the snacks table, he realized what a burden holding the trident was in preventing him from being able to scoop up a handful of candies and picking them out of his hand. So now Lennon stood there with his hand full of chocolate M&Ms, wondering whether to just shove them all into his mouth before they started melting, or putting his trident down to free up his other hand to help him eat the candy in a more civilized manner.
