After the absolute disaster of the yuleball, Gregory had firmly decided he would never go to another dance again. He'd wavered a little over the past week, but seeing people get ready, seeing couples get excited for it, he knew it wasn't going to be for him anymore. It was also, exactly what he deserved. He had been unkind to Snow, he deserved to never get to another dance again. He knew he'd been hurt and lashed out, but he regreted it. Gregory certainly saw himself as no better than Cassius in all the occasions Cassius had targetted him. He was a waste of space, no one could possibly love him. So dances, danced were out. He'd come instead to the student lounge which was empty and didn't have a stream of students walking through it to get to the hall. He could sit at the window and pretend to do the homework for any of his classes. He could spend time here and then head back to the dorm when it was quiet.
