Red wasn't a bad color. Red stood for love and desire. It represents strength and fire. Surely, a red dress would be the perfect thing to wear. Surely Lucien would fall in love with the girl wearing the red dress. At the time, buying a red dress with a low neck line was the best idea Clara had ever had. But now, as she stood in front of the mirror, pulling at the short skirt, the Hufflepuff wasn't so sure. Lucien would be happy, and that was what mattered, right? Clara closed her eyes and took a deep breath, telling herself she could do this. Of course she would've been happier in a dress that touched the floor. But she wanted to impress her boyfriend, and she wanted his eyes to only be on her that night, not the other beautiful girls at the school.
Walking down to the Great Hall, Clara Antolini kept her eyes ahead, focusing on her breathing, fixing her hair as she arrived at the big doors. The Hall looked amazing, She hoped her boyfriend would think she did too.

Lucien Snow was a little late, and that was because he was trying to fix the cowlick within his hair that refused to stay down. In the end, he managed to make the best of a bad situation, and head down to the hall where he would meet up with his girlfriend. The more skin she showed, the better that he would feel. He made his way up from the dungeons, and walked toward the big doors. Seeing red, short and skimpy, and a head of blonde hair, Lucien knew that the girl was waiting for him. He didn't care how the hall looked. He had been there many times. He attended a while back, with Esme. Now, he was here with Clara. He silently made his way toward her, and snaked his arm around her before he murmured, "I don't know if I want you to go in there, sweetie. What if I don't want others looking at you." Playing the perfect boyfriend was hard, but even he had to admit, he could be jealous of the looks she could be getting. All for them know that she was his.

Feeling an arm around her waist and a voice in her ear, Clara smiled before turning around and greeting her boyfriend with a kiss. She pouted slightly at his comment. She had been sure to wear something that Lucien would've liked, but she hoped he would still let her go to the Ball. Clara was worried about other people looking at her, but only because she was scared she was going to be called hurtful names, however, to the blonde, the pros outweighed the cons. "Could we go in for just a couple of dances? Please?" Clara asked sweetly, moving her arms around his waist.

Lucien only kissed her with enthusiasm when she performed it first, but it was broke too soon for his tastes. He always loved the kisses of Clara, especially now that she had gotten better with practice. Technically, so did he, so it was very satisfying for the fifth year. She wanted to go in for a couple of dances, which Lucien groaned slightly. He never liked dancing, but he would have to for Clara. He could be selfless once, right? "Fine, we can go in for a little while." He led her over to the dance floor, before snaking both of his hands around her, lingering too close to her bottom. Lucien always loved her body, but that was about it. He wasn't bored yet, so at least he could enjoy himself. "You graduate next year. What are you going to do without me?"
