Priyanka felt a little more confident after handing over the first rose, so she looked at who was on the next list, then she had to go down to the Great Hall, because that was the only place she could probably find the next person to get the rose. When she got to the Great Hall, Priya looked towards the Gryffindor table, because she had heard from her tower mates that the girl was a prefect, so she hoped she would be there. She walked over to the Gryffindor table "Is Veronica Walden-Cade here?" she asked, holding the basket handle in both hands.

Veronica was sat at the Gryffindor table in a world of her own when the sound of her own name brought her crashing back down to earth. "Yes? What?" She turned and saw a first year clutching a rose. "Sorry, hi I'm Veronica,"

Priyanka stood there, a little nervous, waiting to see the Gryffindor who was to be given the rose. She had already taken the rose out of the basket when she heard a voice that made her flinch at first. Priya looked at the older girl, walked closer, and handed her the rose. "Please, a rose and a note. I hope it brings joy." she said, smiling at Veronica.

Roses were flying all over the place and it was the first time in years that Veronica didn't hate the idea of Valentines day, it could have been because she finally had someone in her life that made her feel how she was supposed to feel on the stupid day of love. She sat at her house table nibbling on breakfast with @Amortentia Layton at her side when a random first year appeared and handed her a red rose with a note. Veronica eyed Ten suspiciously as she took the note, "Thanks," She said to the first year. Veronica read the note and struggled to keep a straight face, her lips constantly trying to crack upward into a smile and once she was done she turned to...her girlfriend with the biggest smile Veronica had had in years. "Yes, of course I will,"

The moment Ten saw a first year headed toward Veronica, a blush formed on her face. If this was indeed her rose coming her way, then she wouldn't be able to avoid seeing her reaction first hand. Keeping her gaze in her breakfast as the prefect read the note, she only looked up when Veronica turned to her. She, she was saying yes? It took her a moment to realise Veronica was saying yes, but a smile that mirrored the blonde spread across her face, relief flooding her body. It felt as though they'd been at least involved if not exclusive for some time, but the idea that of making it official, Ten leant forward to kiss her gently, disregarding the others that may have been in the room, not caring if even Ned or Felix saw. "Happy Valentines," she whispered quietly, glancing to look into her eyes.
