Recruiting for Adventure Club!

The day had come for Hemi and Maddie's plan to be enacted, they were risking a lot by recruiting people for their 'Adventure Club' in broad daylight in the Great Hall but the Professors hadn't arrived yet so Maddie took this chance to hand out a few flyers on the Hufflepuff table. She spaced the flyers out equally so she could reach the maximum amount of people. They were aiming for first years who were looking for adventure and looking to break a few of the rules. The flyer read:

Are you longing for an adventure but don't have any friends to go with? Do you think 'the Forbidden Forest,' sounds like a challenge? Have you constantly wondered what happens in the castle after curfew?

If your answer is YES to one or more of these questions then YOU need to sign up for the Adventure Club! At the Adventure Club, two experienced Hogwarts explorers will take you on weekly outings for that adventure you seek! Dates TBC. Sign up below to join. All sign ups get a free cookie at the first meeting, that's a PROMISE.

Maddie was confident that they would get quite a few sign ups from the Hufflepuff's they were always up for adventure and fun and some of them didn't mind breaking the rules to get that rush and in which case they would be perfect for the club. She decided to hover around the Hufflepuff table in case any of the students decided to sign up right there and then. Also ready to make all the flyers disappear in case any prefect or Professor decided to show up.

[Eleanor Hope]

Eleanor was hungry and when Eleanor was hungry she was not happy. She marched her way into the great hall for some food and took a seat at the Hufflepuff Table only to find a bunch of flyers in her way. She pushed them aside but something written on the flyers had caught her attention. An Adventure Club? Eleanor had been wanting to venture around the castle ever since she stepped foot inside. Mainly she had wanted to have a look at the magical creatures and didn't really care about much else but this could be the perfect opportunity for her to finally find one. Better yet, they were going to be getting free cookies at the first meeting! Without reading most of the flyer, she picked up one and took it over to a nearby Gryffindor girl who seemed to be in charge. "Sign me up!" she exclaimed, giving her a bright smile as she gave her the flyer. It didn't seem dangerous at all and Eleanor knew it was going to be great fun.

 

[Bryony Woods]

The amount food that this castle produced every day seemed crazy to Bryony, who could eat this much food? Of course, she loved the selection and the great quality of the food but she felt guilty everytime she saw the spread on the table. She couldn't help but think of the poor soul(s) who had to prepare all of it, and why hadn't Bryony seen them yet? She sat down next to her friend Eleanor and grabbed a glass of orange juice and poured herself a bowl of porridge. As she was half way through eating Bryony had noticed that Ellie had a flyer in her hand, she couldn't quite make out the words. Adventure Club? she thought it read. Endless possibilities filled Bryony's head, feeding off of Eleanor's confident and boundless energy she followed her friend up to a Gryffindor girl that seemed to be hovering around their table. "Sign me up too!" she squeaked.

 

[Liam Adams]

Liam did his best to stiffle a yawn as he made his way into the great hall and took a seat at the Hufflepuff table. Absentmindedly he grabbed a glass of orange juice and a few slices of toast. He looked up and saw Bryony amd another girl going over to a slightly oldet Gryffindor girl and asking to sign up. He was curious. Liam made his way over to the girls. "Hey I sense a plot," He said sticking his head between Bryony and her friend. He spoted a flyer for something called the adventure club. "Sign me up too,"

 

[Troy Cantor]

Troy was enjoying his third slice of toast with pumpkin jam as he was gazing over at the enchanted ceiling that was presenting a clear sky. He would never get tired of just sitting there and watching it while wondering at the same time how advanced could be such marvelous enchantments. Something caused a stir to a few fellow first year hufflepuffs near him and he was pulled out of his daydream thanks to their excitement about something. He took one of the flyers close to him to find out what was all the hype about. When Bryony asked to join the club that was featured in these flyers, he considered doing the same. "Me as well, please!" He waved at the girl who was distributing the flyers. He then read carefully through the text of the flyer and realized for what he had signed up for. Just the inclusion of the forbidden forest somewhere in those sentences, rang a bell in his head about breaking rules. He then reminded himself he had already broken that rule by entering the forest at night. He shrugged, thinking what worse could be awaiting him for this choice.

 

[Ares Jeffreys]

Ares wasn't sure what was happening at the hufflepuff table when he arrived in the Great Hall, he was naturally very curious about it and so approached the small crowd, he knew Ellie, and had met one of the other girls, "Hey Ellie, what's happening?" he asked her as he got close enough to read what was written on a sort of sign up sheet which a slightly older student was handing out. Ares glanced the leaflet over and then just smiled at her, and adventure club! that would be amazing, Ares loved adventures, he didn't know if his brother would want it, but he was signing up definitely. Ares walked up to the slightly older girl, "Sign me up please," he told her, a clearly excited tone in his voice as he did so, he couldn't wait to get started. This would be so amazing, so much fun to be had.
