Star walked out of the Ravenclaw common room with a book in one hand and a basket in the other. The sun was shinning outside and Star wasn't to enjoy the sunshine before she went home to the rain in a few weeks. Her parents had just sent her a new book.It was called The Insurgent. It was a sequel to a book she had finished a couple of weeks ago.She was looking forward to reading it.Star always looked forward to reading books, she was an avid reader and it was what she spent most of her free time doing.Unlike the rest of her family Star had no musical ability. She could probably sing a song mostly in tune but she had no musical talent for an instrument. She was the odd one out of the Moon children. Her talent lay in English.Star had wrote many drafts for books but nothing serious. No one really knew about her love for writing they just knew she liked to read. Her family didn't really know that much about her at all really.People tended to forget about her because she was the baby and the rest of the Moon's had problems much bigger then hers that took up most of her parents and their attention.Star tried to help to,she would make life easy for her brother and two sisters.Star had loved making breakfast in bread for Kate when she was sick. She had stayed neutral when it came to Kate and Sara's conflict. She had tried to help Ryan but e just wouldn't let her.He had locked them all out and Star missed him terribly. It was like a part of her was just out of reach. It was a horrible feeling and she wished he would just tell her what was wrong so she could help and they would work it out together.

Star made the long journey down to the kitchens. She planned on treating herself to a nice picnic. She walked into the kitchens and smiled and the elves that flocked around her.She really liked the elves, they were so nice and when Star had come down crying some nights they would make her something nice to eat and they would just be there and comfort her.She had a load of respect for them. She knew her way around the vast kitchen. It was here that the meals for every student in he castle was made. She would hate to be down her during the end of year feast. She made herself a ham and cheese sandwich. She got herself some mi wadi and some sour cream and onion crisps. She packed them neatly into the basket which also contained a blanket.Once she was finished she thanked the elves and walked to the entrance hall. From there she made her way to the Hogwarts Gardens. The place was full of blooming flowers and the smell was beautiful. She walked along the grounds, taking in the scenery with her.New Zealand was a beautiful place and she was glad she had the chance to attend school there. She walked into the gardens and found a tree that gave some shade. She took out the blanket and laid it on the flour. She sat down and left the top of the basket open so she could dive into the food whenever she wanted. She realized the floor really wasn't that comfy so she took out her wand "Accio cushion"She said, she hoped she didn't get a whole pile of cushions but luckily after a few seconds she saw a cushion flying towards her.She smiled and caught the cushions. It was a big one and she set it on the ground and sat on it.She felt instantly better. She got out her book and began to read.

When Samual Pace Kaster left the castle this morning, he was not in the best of moods. The night before had been full of tossing and turning, and he barely got any sleep what-so-ever. But now that he was out in the sunlight, his mood had picked up strongly, because Sammy loved the sun. He loved to be warm and to run around the lawns under the bright sun, but he loved waking up early and being greeted by the sun most of all. Sometimes, he would wake up before the sun rose int he sky so he could watch the sun rise up in the air, and beam down on the lake, making it sparkle and look amazing, almost swimmable. Almost. But not quite, since Samual was not a strong swimmer, at all, he avoided large bodies of water like the pleague. But even then, the lake was one of his favourite places to be. The lake usually meant a place for him to regather his thoughts, which was extremely useful, since as the days rolled by, Samual's mental health seemed to be rolling by with it, his emotions changed like the wind. Sometimes he would be so happy, he felt like flying, but then, if something happened, no matter how small, and it wasn't a good thing, his mood would come crashing down. Sometimes he felt helpless with his emotions, but most of this happened when he was alone, without someone there to talk to and to be happy for. Which was probably why he went to the lake. Mostly, he would watch the clouds go past, watch the water ripple and sparkle under the warm Summer sun and watch some green coloured leaves float gently towards the water, until they reached it and floated on its top, creating blissful ripples. Sometimes he would even skip stones, they never seemed to go far, but he still tried none-the-less, it was fun. But today, Sammy wasn't going to the water, he didn't feel like the comfort of something he couldn't touch today, for today was the day that he would take a trip to the garden, but not the rosebush, he wasn't ready to go there just yet. In all honesty, he wasn't sure he ever wanted to go back to that place ever again, he would sooner go into the forbidden forest, or go swimming in the lake, than go back there, since his last time there was less than wonderful, in fact, he felt like he died there.

Samual looked up at the sky as he wondered around the lawns, there were few clouds overhead, they were all bright white and speckly, which meant no rain. Sam was fine with that, he didn't really like rain that much anyway and it would ruin his plans of hanging around the lawns, and he didn't even want to consider the damage it would do to his curls, they would probably drap all over his face and it wouldn't look too nice. In fact, his brother Jack would tease him about looking like Tarzan when his hair was wet. That wasn't nice at all. Samual continued to walk the lawns, they were really nice lawns, but he wasn't sure he would overly love being the caretaker for these lawns, imagine all the work it included, the grass seemed to always be freshly cut, and everything was so neat and organised, he wasn't sure he was hard-working enough to do all this. He shook his head and walked towards the school gardens. The Hogwarts gardens were very beautiful, every section seemed different, and he felt really happy when around all this... happy stuff. He smirked and wondered his way through the flowers, it was really pretty here., and he loved coming here, because it held good memories, he met Nephy and Khione here, who both happened to be part-goblins, Gryffindors, girls and, at the time, first years, though Nephy would now be a second year. Samual hadn't seen her around much, but he wasn't worried, he had classes to do, so he couldn't worry about finding his friends that could be Merlin knows where in the castle.

Samual sighed, meeting those two was what got him the lovely name of Part Goblin Lover. That was completely incorrect, he happened to befriend two part-goblins, and suddenly he was obsessed with goblins? That was just stupid. The added fact that now he was apparently with Kate Moon only added to his stress levels, people seriously believed the magazine and what it said, he couldn't believe that people actually thought that he was dating Kate, and that he was only dating her because she could 'sink through a crack in the floor if she isn't careful', and he wasn't even sure what the magazine was going on about when it said that their middles touched, what was a 'middle'?! He shook his head once again and ran his fingers through his curls, he could see someone in the distance, sitting down on a blanket. Were they having a picnik? He smiled, it was a nice day for a picnik, but he didn't join the person, because that would be so rude, to just randomly storm in on someones picnik like he was their best frined, besides, the person, whom he now identified as a girl, could be on a picnik with a friend, sibling, or crush, and he didn't want to interupt her. So he smiled briefly at her and walked past, she looked nice, but still, it would be incredible rude. But something caused him to stop, and turn back to the castle, he could hear something, but before he could even blink, he was suddenly attacked by pillows. Lots and lots of pillows. "Ahhhhh!" He exclaimed, being bombarded by twelve or more pillows, which sent him crashing to the ground in front of the girl, who seemed to have a pillow of her own. And it all clicked, she'd obviously used a spell to get a pillow, there was no other explaination, but obviously these pillows were a little slower. He looked into the girls eyes, but then flinched when yet another pillow landed on his head. Graceful. He picked his head up again, too lazy to sit up, so he remained on his tummy. "Hello there, I presume you wanted some pillows?" He asked kinding, allowing another pillow to crash into him. This was starting to get so sad, it was hilarous, and caused him to laugh at the whole situation, as his smooth cheeks grew red from the embarrassment of being decked by a bunch of pillows. "I'm Sammy, it's nice to meet you, but please... don't call anymore pillows." He finished, hoping no more pillows would attack him.

Star found that she couldn't concentrate on the book. Her mind kept drifting, worrying about other things.Star did too much worrying. She would have permanent worry lines etched across her face by the age of twenty if she wasn't careful. She couldn't help it though. She just loved her family so much and everything seemed to be bad.She wanted to help but there was nothing she could do except pretending not to exist.Sometimes she didn't even have to do that because no one seemed to notice her.She wasn't that noticable. She didn't stand out much and Star didn't mind. She wouldn't like to draw anyone's attention, especially the people that wrote that horrible magazine.Star would rather stay unnoticed and insignificant then wrote in that magazine. She felt sorry for those poor people who had been written about.Poor Kate had been mentioned three times. Some boy called Samual Kaster was mentioned with her in the last issue.Their middles had touched what ever that meant. They had said some bad things about Kate's weight also.Being blown off a broom? Was that even possible?Star knew it wasn't possible and she didn't see why they had to be so mean. Some people she just didn't understand.Star hoped no one in her family was ever written about again.Star hated seeing her family hurt. She loved them so much and she doubted they knew it.Some times that hurt Star but she had learned to get over it and not let it bother her because she knew they loved her but they just didn't realize how hurtful it can be when no one pays attention to you or asks you how was your day or takes an interest in what you like to do in life.

Star's attention was taken completely from her book when a cushion flew past her, right into the tree. She looked up when she heard someone shout.Star tried to keep her laughter quiet and she put her hand over her mouth to attempt not to embarrass him further by laughing. She met his gaze but when he was hit by another pillow she couldn't help the laughter coming from her mouth. He looked so cute with his red cheeks and curly hair."I won't"She said grinning. She got up and walked over to him, stepping over a variety of pillows on the way.Maybe she should have been more exact. She ducked when one final pillow came her way.She was still chuckling. It had looked so funny and he looked adorable lying on the ground looking all embarrassed. "Yeah,I planned on only one though"She said holding out a hand to help him up. "Nice to meet Sammy,I'm Star Moon"She said smiling kindly. The name sounded familiar, she was sure she had heard it mentioned before. She was sure she would find out in time.

Samual smiled meekly as the girl tried her hardest to stop herself from laughing at him. It was kind, but futile, as he could tell that she was amused by the whole situation, and he too, except the emotion of embarrassment was stronger than amusement. It wasn't everyday that he was tackled by millions of pillows that flew out from the castle. That's the funny thing with magic, you only want one thing, and it decides that you want half a million things, the Accio spell being a perfect example. He gratefully took her hand and slowly stood up, keeping a watchful eye out for more late pillows, when the coast seemed clear, he nodded slightly. "Maybe next time you should say, just one pillow." He joked. "With the amount out here, we could build a fort." He added subconsciously. Sammy was often thinking of things like that, building forts, climbing trees and building leaf piles, juggling flowers, dancing on tables and seeing who can jump the highest were things he did often with friends. He was childish and saw things from the point of view of a boy much younger than him, but he didn't care, it was fun to not be serious all that time. Sometimes, people just had to let loose and have fun. Samual smiled brightly at her name. Moon. Was she related to Kate? He could see some resemblence, but he was comforted by the fact that she was larger than Kate was, which meant that she was a healthy weight, he felt a little sad when he saw how thin and breakable Kate looked, he just wanted to give her a huge hug and give her cake. But he also liked her first name. Star. Star Moon. It sounded so spacy and fun, and he couldn't help but wonder if her parents saw the humour in calling their daughter Star Moon, but he didn't bring it up, it could be seen as teasing, and that was the last thing he wanted to appear doing. Samual wasn't sure he was capable of knowingly teasing someone, it seemed like such hard work, to go out and hurt someone, he was sure he would never be able to do it. For starters, Samual was a sucker for tears and saddness, and often broke down himself if he saw people crying. So, he decided to compliment her name instead, since he thought it had to be one of the coolest names going. "You're name is fantabulous." He said, a smirk forming. "I'm jealous." Every word was true, his name was just simply Samual Pace Kaster, nothing too awesome and magical about it, except that he had an 'A' where an 'E' was usually placed, but that was nothing wicked and wonderful, it just made his name a little more unique than others.

Samual looked at the blanket they stood on, and remembered his earlier observation. "Were you having a picnik?" He asked curiously, noting the basket, and the book. "Are you expecting someone?" He added, if so, he would happily dash off before they came, and maybe help Star fix up the pillows so it looked more organised than just a bunch of pillows laying all over the ground. "Because if you are, I can help you pack up all these pillows and- oooff!" He held his head, which was yet again a victim of a flying pillow. It was getting ridiculous now, when he saw another pillow coming, he grabbed it from the air before it managed to find its way to Star's blonde head, he was already being attacked by pillows, which seemed to be attracted to his curls, he didn't need Star stumbling around too.mual sighed. "This is getting rather ridiculous." He muttered, shaking his head slowly. "What I was going to say was I can help you set all this up if you're expecting someone to join you." He said, relieved that no pillows hit him in the head again. He looked at the pillow in his hands suspiciously, then placed it on the ground, and returned his attention to Star. One question was left on his mind now. "I have to ask, are you and Kate Moon related?" He asked, tilting his head slightly and smiling, but still keeping and eye out for anymore pillows.

Star felt really bad.She hadn't meant for tens or pillows to come to here. That was a slight flaw in the accio spell but then again she should have been more exact with her request. She would remember that for next time.He didn't seem angry that it was her fault he was bombarded with pillows. She was slightly glad that he had taken the hit because she wouldn't have liked getting hit but it had been worse for him because Sammy had been knocked to the ground where as she was already seated on the ground so she wouldn't have hurt herself. She hoped he wasn't injured either because that would make Star feel a hundred times worse and he would be hurt which would ruin the nice happy atmosphere that was surrounding the garden. "Yeah,I'll keep that in mind next time"She said smiling shyly.Sammy was probably the first boy she had talked to other then Ryan in the whole year.He seemed so sweet though and Star didn't think he would tease her. Star contemplated his suggestion she didn't think he was making the actual suggestion but it was an idea Star contemplated none the less. There was nothing else they could really do with them. There is only so much a person can do with pillows "You know ,that's not a bad idea"She said put her finger over her mouth her thinking face on.Star had a variety of faces and when she wasn't thinking about how she looked her real faces started to emerge. She usually wouldn't be caught dead with the expression on her face.Star was very intelligent but she didn't like people knowing.Since she was in Ravenclaw people tended to just presume she was but Star didn't really believe she was.She thought she was in the house because she liked to read and study.Since no one had actually told her she was intelligent she didn't think it.Star laughed "Thanks"She said quietly. She thought her name was weird she thought it quite mean of her parents to call her Star Moon.Maybe they were getting over the fact that they were having another set of twins or something and had't really thought about what they were calling her.Star hadn't had much of a problem with teasing because she didn't talk to people much so they didn't know her name.

Star looked back at her blanket and food "Um yeah..but no no one is coming"Star said her cheeks reddening. It was quite sad that she was having a picnic by herself but even if she had wanted to there would be no one to ask to join her.Star burst out laughing again when another pillow hit Sammy. "I'm sorry,I didn't really think that spell through"She said. She instinctively sucked when she saw a pillow flying her way but thankfully Sammy caught it."Thanks"She said between giggles. This had certainly been a most interesting first meeting. "I agree"She said nodding her head and her face suddenly bursting into a huge smile when she had a flash back of the pillows. This was probably the most smiling and laughing Star had done in the past three years.Star lived quite a lonely, sad life. She tried not to let the fact that she had no friends bother her but at times it would hit her full on and she would end up down the kitchens, crying in front of the elves who would try their best to make her feel better. Star's interest was sparked when he asked was she related to Kate.He obviously knew her and then it clicked. She remembered seeing him in the Great Hall when she had gone up to Kate to ask her was she was okay.Kate and Sammy were supposedly going out and Star's heart fell. She was then confused because she didn't understand why that should upset her but then she remembered the boy Kate was always talking about.Stefan Archer. She doubted Kate would just drop him and start going out with Sammy.Kate had gone through too much to do that. "Yes,she is my older sister. And are you the Samual from RHI?"She asked curiously, she hoped mentioning this wouldn't upset him.Star would never ever want to be written about in that magazine and she doubted she ever would." I remember seeing you with Kate and another girl who didn't seem very nice"Star said scrunching up her face.Star hoped she never came face to face with that girl. She seemed evil.

Samual continued to smile slightly, atleast he wasn't seriously hurt, that wouldn't have been very fun at all. Though he did learn something very important from what he just experienced. Whenever he uses the Accio spell again, he is going to be very specific, because even though this had never happened to him when he became lazy, it could and he didn't like the thought of sitting comfortably in the Gryffindor Common room, being too lazy to get up, and using Accio to gwt a book. Imagine the bruises! Samual was one of those people that bruised very easily, so if he had one million books flying his way. "Well, we don't want some other poor guy being attacked by pillows now, do we?" He asked playfully, the fall being all but forgotten. He brushed himself off quickly, discovering dirt to be all over him, and a few grass stains. They were going to be fun to get out, he would be sure to not show Lisa the stains, or she'd kill him, since she couldn't use magic to clean stuff. He looked at a pillow and kicked it absent-mindedly with his foot, watching it roll a little closer to other pillows, but when Star said something totally un-expected, a grin made its way onto his face. "Really?" He asked, his more childish side coming out at the prospect of building a fort. Samual had not built a decent fort in years, he used to build them all the time at home, but since attending Hogwarts New Zealand, home time was not filled with building forts, it was filled with either babysitting, helping around the house, holiday work or traveling. Sometimes Samual missed the simple life he used to have, but ever cloud had a silver lining, it was just a matter of finding it. "Okay!" He cheered, starting to gather the pillows together. "So how would you like it to be set up?" He asked, holding a multitude of pillows in his arms. "I mean, would you like to try and get it to be self supportive, or just leaning it against some of those trees?"It was amazing how serious Samual could get when building forts, he took it as a rather serious thing so that it would be amazingly fun and the fort wouldn't fall down on them, because he wasn't sure that it would be fun to have your fort all built up and looking fantabulous, but then having to wacth it crumble to nothing in seconds. When he looked her in the eyes, he smiled slightly, the face she was pulling was funny, and it made him smile, but he tried not to be seen smiling at her expression, because Star did not seem like the most extroverted person.

Samual nodded. Star's name was super unique and just nice, and he liked it, but he got the small feeling that Star wasn't as enthusiastic about her name as Samual was, but he let it slide, not many people were as excited about anything as Samual was. He nodded slowly. So Star was having a picnik by herself? That seemed a little... lonely, he smiled apologetically. "May I join you?" He asked. "We can build a fort around your picnik site." He suggested, trying to line it out with his arms in the air. He laughed slightly and turned back to her. "Don't worry, I'm only a little dirty, it's not like I'm dying or anything." He reassured. "Besides, how were you to know that half a million pillows would come after you? I've used that spell tons of times, never have half a million anythings come my way." He added. He sighed slightly before he spoke, because he was kind of expecting more pillows to viciously batter him, he looked around suspiciously. No pillows in sight. Slowly he turned back to Star. Still no pillows, this was good. He smiled again and nodded. So Star was indeed related to Kate, and she was nice too, maybe niceness ran in her family or something? Samual wished something positive would run in his family, but alas it didn't. Samual was blessed enough to live in a family full of maniacs, but he loved them. But what Star added to that made him look at his feet. Since they were sisters, Sammy was quite sure they talked a lot, that's what sisters did, right? Lisa and Tessa talked a lot, Tama and Tessa talked a lot, and they were all sisters, so hopefully she would know the true story and not think that he and Kate were actually in a relationship, because it would be awkward to have to explain to someones sister that you were not dating their sister. He wasn;t sure why, but he was quite certain that it wouldn't be a comfortable conversation to have with anyone. "Yeah... I'm the part-goblin lover." He explained, deciding to take humor on his insult so he wouldn't dampen the mood. He sighed slightly at the memory of Annalie in the Great Hall, a shiver went down his spine. Annalie Darkhart gave him the creeps! "Yeah, Kate was protecting me, from that horrible girl." He added, shifting his weight slightly, then he looked down at the pillows. "Sooo... how 'bout we get started on this fort?"

Yes,Star would have to work on her spells.Samual was lucky that she had only asked for pillows, she could have easily asked for something a lot harder and heavier. The day would have ended in a disaster if that had happened. She would definitely have to be more careful next time. That was a slight flaw in the spell it's self but then again the person saying the spell should be clear in what they want.It was a very handy spell though. When ever Star couldn't be bothered going all the ways down to the kitchens to the elves she would just accio some food,it may hit a few people on the way but they would hopefully never find out who it was.It was kind of like getting a take away meal delivered. "No we don't"She said agreeing. She was glad that Samual didn't seem to be too bothered that she had managed to get him attacked by pillows. If it had been someone meaner ,the day could have not been a good one for Star.A few people were looking confusedly at all the pillows around the ground but they didn't say anything or come over. She wondered had the pillows hit anyone else on the way over to her.It was something she didn't want to find out as most likely not a lot of other people would be so kind about being hit by pillows. She could see he liked the idea of building a fort.Sometime when the Moon's had been younger they had built forts using pillows, duvets anything they could find and they would gather up all the teddies and shoes or something not too hard and they would have a war, throwing the teddies and shoes at the other peoples fort trying to knock it down.It had been a rather fun game and once again Star wished they could do things like that again but she doubted that would happen for a while. Star began picking up pillows, she started to think of how they would build it.It would make more sense to lean them against the tree as finding a means to get pillow's self supportive was very slim. "I'd say it would be safer to use the tree but if we could find a way for these pillows to stay up by themselves the fort could probably be much bigger"She said, her thinking face evident

Star was trying her best not to sink into the floor with embarrassment,Samual probably had a load of friends and was probably too cool to hang out with the likes of her but he surprised her by asking could he join her.Star didn't say anything for a few seconds her mind comprehending what he had just said. That was probably the first time anyone had asked could they join her.She hoped he wasn't doing it out of sympathy because Star would rather had a picnic by herself then have it with someone who was only there because they felt sorry for her but Samual seemed genuine and Star then realized she hadn't said anything for quite a considerable time "Oh sorry, yes it would be lovely if you joined me"She said quietly her cheeks red again. "Good idea"She said trying to imagine the fort.It was going to be fun and this was probably the funnest thing she had did in a long while. Star still felt a small but bad but she decided to let it go and concentrate on building the fort "Okay so"She said smiling slightly. She could see he was uncomfortable with the mention of RHI "Don't worry I know it's not true"She said the side of her mouth curving into a smile.Kate nodded,it was in Kate's nature to protect people. She did it often with Star and the rest of the family. "Yes,so where to start"She said holding a bunch of pillows in her hand and looking at where she had set up her picnic

Samual chuckled slightly and put his hands on his hips in thought to her next suggestion. Samual then nodded in agreement, he was sure to brainstorm something a little later, but right now his brain was a little preoccupied with his mental design of the fort. He was trying to see if it would even be possible to get all the pillows to match up in such a way that a fort would be achievable. "Do you think we could dangle some pillows from the overhanging trees or something?" He questioned, taking a small step forward in thought. "Or maybe just totally lean it on a tree truck and build it out that way..." He added, moving his hands around in an attempt to help his mind create a picture. "Or, we could just make it like a castle thingy, stacking the pillows one on top of the other, if we could find something to make them less squishy." He added as yet another idea flew into his head. Samual's smile started to go down and morph into a face that was full of curiousity. Star had not replied to him as of yet, and he was slightly worried, did she not want to be seen with him because of RHI? Did she not liked him because of some other random reason? Was he annoying her but she was too nice to tell him until now? Maybe she didn't want to talk to him because of the Rumor Has It rumors, maybe she was judging him and didn't like him now that she realised who he was. Samual's mood flew south faster than any bird ever had, but just before he was going to walk away, Star said a most pleasent reply to his offer. He could stay! He beamed at her, ignoring her red cheeks and he ran his fingers through his curls and let all his worries fly away. "It's okay, thank you." He replied happily. Samual smiled slightly when Star told him that she knew it wasn't true. He was quite sure that she'd know the truth, because she was Kate's sister, they were bound to talk on occasion, especially when it came to something like RHI and making sure that your family knows the truth. "I thought, well, hoped you would. It was a really weird rumor." He said meekly, though the magazine seemed completely stupid, Samual did take it a little to heart, it was hard not to. He was so nice to everyone, well, he tried to be. He didn't understand why someone would attack him like that, he tried to ignore it completely and let it go, and he almost had, but he couldn't help but worry about RHI, he often found himself second guessing his decisions before he didn't anything, in fear of ridicual by his peers and that horrible magazine. He clapped his hands together to get the thoughts out of his head. "Well, now that we've got that settled, let us carry on." He announced, looking around at the pillows to distract himself.

Samual chewed his lip in thought, scanning the picnik area, then nodded. He had an idea, a fantabulously fantabulous idea. They could balance the pillows with sticks from around the area, a simple Accio could get them all gathered up qickly. "Well... we could get the pillows to be more stable by having sticks in them, since they're not stitch up pillows, we won't be damaging them." He explained, whipping out his wand quickly and putting the multitude of pillows carefully on the ground. "Maybe I should get them though... sticks hurt a lot more than pillows." He added sheepishly, he didn't want to make her embarrassed or anything, but he wasn't sure if his common sense would allow him to jump in front of a bunch of flying sticks to protect Star. Sticks really hurt when they were flying through the air, and especially when they actually hit the skin. He looked around for a small pile, or gathering of sticks, when his emerald eyes located a small pile, it was at quite a distance indeed, but when squinting he could just see them lying on the ground together. The fact that they were stacked in a pile was what made them spotable, he smirked and consentrated on them, makiing sure that he only called those sticks and no other sticks. "Accio stick pile." He said firmly, swishing his wand when appropriate and stepping to the side, the summoned sticks making their way quickly to his position. "Okay, we can use these to stablize the pillows." He said, sitting on his knees and partically unzipping a pillow and placing the stick inside. The desired result was the make the pillow less bendy, meaning that it would be a good footing for the other pillows. He wasn't sure if it would work, since when he built forts, he had the magic of his father to keep it all up and wonderful, but since he was but a fourth year, he had certain restrictions. "Do you have any other ideas? I'm sort of running out, short of super gluing it all together." He chuckled.

Star had never been much of a builder or constructer. As a child she had always been more interested in the outside world and space. She was always interested in nature and the universe. The stars, planets, animals and plants had always amazed her.The fact that there were other plants and the vast area of space with so much left unexplored.Star would love to travel to space and explore everything up there.Star has a very inquisitive mind and she will make tonnes of theories regarding anything that to her was left unexplained. She would take apart many devices and try to find out how the worked. She would often go out to the large garden and gather information on what type of animals and plants lived around her.She had later found out that what she loved was ecology and astronomy. The of course were her favorite subjects in Hogwarts. She had been delighted when she had learned she would be studying these subjects as they are not done in the muggle world. "I think we should try the castle idea..."She said trailing off as she watched Samual's face turn.He had obviously noticed the considerable amount of time between answering his question. He seemed happy that she had agreed to let him stay which made Star feel better because for once someone actually wanted to spend some time with her.She understood why Kate liked Sammy. He was lovable, you couldn't not like him, well in Star's eyes you couldn't. "Yes it was but they seem to want to write something about Kate all the time, curious really"She said her mind pondering. It confused her as to why they had to keep writing things about her sister. She had gone through enough with out them making up lies about her. "Yes lets"She said a real smile on her face. She couldn't remember the last time she had spent time with someone other then her sisters. It felt nice hanging out with a hopeful friend and Star hope it would continue

Star considered his idea and it made sense."Good Idea"She said, beginning to take out her mind but she faltered when he said he should do it.Her cheeks turned a nasty shade of red and she nodded meekly. She totally understood where he was coming from, sticks flying at quite a considerable fast speed would definitely hurt more then pillows. This of course didn't stop her cheeks from turning red.It was just something that happened with out any of her control. It was an embarrassing and annoying thing to happen because turning red usually made you even more embarrassed. She remembered her sister having the same problem but once she gained confidence in herself,it seemed to stop,.Star doubted that was going to happen any time soon though.Star was just a shy, unsociable person. But to anyone close to her she was actually bubbly, quite loud and hyper. It was a side people didn't see often because not many people were close friends because of her shyness. So people usually though the real her was a shy, timid girl when in really she was the total opposite.Once the pile of sticks landed near the feat.Star knelt down and unzipped the first pillow. She got a stick from the pile and stuck it inside the pillow.Star zipped it up again but she didn't think this would make a very stable fort as the pillow was still quite squishy "I think two sticks would make the pillow a lot more stable"She said, unzipping the pillow and sticking another one in.Once this was done she did the same to two other pillows. She then stacked them on top of each other and it had the desired affect. The pillows stood stable the sticks laying on top of each other keeping it stable and the actually pillow itself giving it the height. "Now it we just put then in a circle around the tree, but leave a space for a door way and then we can accio some blankets for at least a partial roof?"She suggested looking at Sammy

Samual waited patiently as Star made her decision, and a grin appeared on the young Gryffindors face instantly. He really hoped that she picked the castle idea, it sounded a lot cooler than the other one. "Okay! Let's get started!" Samual nodded in total agreement, to his knowledge, Kate was in ever issue, it was so silly, why didn't RHI leave her alone? "Maybe RHI likes Kate." He said absentmindedly, puffing up one of the pillows. "I mean, some people are really mean to people they like, because they don't want them to know that they like them." He explained. Samual had never been mean to something because he liked them, that was just silly, but he had known people to do it. "So you never know, maybe RHI really likes Kate, and is just too scared to tell her." He hypothosized. Now that he thought about it that way, he felt a little sorry for RHI, if it were true. "It's a little sad really, when you think of it that way. RI might really like Kate, but they're just too scared to tell her." This could be seen as mocking the magazine, but Samual was being completely serious with this possible story he thought up. It would be horrible to feel the need to hide ones feelings like that. Samual smiled at Star and got to work, unzipping some more pillows.

Samual nodded at her agreement, but then quickly felt guilty, he'd made her self-conscious! He felt horrible! He walked quickly up to her and gave her a big, reassuring hug. He felt horrible for making her feel guilty about pummeling him with pillows, it was obviously an accident and even though he really didn't want to be killed by sticks, he should have been more sensetive to her feelings. How selfish of him! "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad or anything!" He reassured, rubbing her back and then letting her go. A smile graced the young mans face as he watched Star brainstorm with him, she didn't have to do that, she could have easily decided that it was too stupid to try, but she was actually getting into it, his own sister wasn't this nice to him. Tamalia never seemed to have the time to have fun with Samual, she was usually too busy being overbearing towards him and protecting hi, acting like if someone poked him he'd die or something. It was annoying being seen as the baby of the family, because Samual felt that he could protect himself, sure, he cried occasionally, but that was a part of growing up, everyone cried at some point in their lives, he doubted that he was the only fourteen year old on the planet that has ever cried beofre. "That might be a little better, good thinking." He praised, putting another stick into the pillow and testing it. So much more stable now. As Star set everything up, he gave her some space so he would get in her way, then observed everything as it all stacked up and looked quite stable to the Gryffindor as he beamed happily at it and his fort-building partner, Star. Samual nodded in agreement, Star had a really good idea and it was just perfect! "Star, that's fantabulous!" He said happily, pulling out his wand again and thinking about the stack of blankets that were on his bed, he was sure they wouldn't get too dirty from this enterprise, and if they did... he could ask someone to clean them quickly or something, no biggy. "Accio Gryffindor blankets." He comanded, waiting for the blankets to make their way to his destination, when he saw the red and gold blankets making their was across the lawn, he smiled, there were only a few, not half a million, thank Merlin, because that would have been hilarious, but a little ridiculous. Samual caught the blankets and placed them on Star's picnik mat carefully. "Okay, once we've got this fully stable and perfect, me can toss the blankets on them, how about it?" He asked, stabalizing a pillow that looked a little wobbly by pushing it softly back into place.

Star pushed her sunglasses on to the top of her head so her hair was out of her face. She had never built a fort before, there had been plenty of fairy forts back near where she lived in Ireland and the Moon children would often go to the forts.Ever since Star had found out about magic she had wondered if creatures like fairies and leprechauns actually existed. So far she hadn't see one but she hadn't been to the fairy forts in a long time and maybe next time she went she would find something. She had always been a bit of an explorer,it was her curious side taking over her scared side. She had spent hours just going over each nook and cranny of the forts. They were all over Ireland and there was always a strange feeling when you are there.People did live there after all and there was probably a whole lot of dead bodies buried deep beneath the ground or maybe some artefact buried beneath also.Star was interested in lots of things-astronomy,folklore and nature to name a few.Her inquisitive mind just wanted to know everything and anything about the un-known.Star contemplated Samual's theory.Star had personally never heard of someone being mean to someone because they liked them well she had heard such a thing as love/hate relationships so maybe Samual's idea wasn't too far fetched "But then why would they be so mean to everyone else?"Star said sighing,if the reason RHI wrote so much about Kate was because they liked her maybe they could do something but the one flaw in that was the fact RHI wrote mean stuff about everyone and Kate happened to be mentioned in every issue "It's a start though"The young blond said her blue eyes momentarily glancing around the garden as if RHI would just come and revel themselves. It was wishful thinking really.

Star was surprised by the hug at first but warmed into it.She realized she liked the feeling of his arms around her but she quickly shook that thought from her head though her cheeks did become tinted read because she had even dared think that. She hoped he didn't noticed, she forced a smile and tried to get back to normal "Don't worry about it"She said quietly and shyly looking at the ground. Come on she said to herself, she took a breath and looked up at his green eyes and a real smile graced her face this time. She wasn't going to let her embarrassment or suspecting feelings ruin the one friendship she might make this year. She focused on the plan at hand. She positively beamed when he seemed to like her idea.Maybe she was good at building forts.Star was enjoying herself now,she was going to force her sisters to make a fort with her when she went home or maybe the fact that she was building the fort with Samual was the fact she was enjoying herself so much.Star discreetly shook her head at herself, now was not the time to be thinking such thoughts. She had just met him for God's sake and she already had a crush. The first person who had actually wanted to hang out with her and now she was going to mess it up with her stupid feelings. "That's great"She said shyly glad he liked her idea.He used a curious word though "Fantabulous?"She asked genuinely curious-she had never heard it mentioned it before,he probably made it up.She liked the word though it seemed to suit the personality she was seeing at the moment. As he accioed the blankets Star began filling the pillows with two sticks. She supposed they would make it around shoulder high. For that they would need around seven pillows. She and Samual were around the same height and they could kneel or have the blankets cover them.A few people were watching them as they worked. For once,Star didn't seemed to noticed the gaining attention. She was too busy concentrating on the task at hand.Once the blankets had appeared she had completed one row of pillows. She brought them over and positioned them beside the other row of pillows. "Yeah, maybe attach one side to the tree and have the other side attach with.."Star trailed off thinking of ways to get the blanket to stay attached to the pillows. They could easily tie the blanket around the branches of the tree but the pillows. Suddenly Star had an idea "We could use clothes pegs to attach the pillows to the blanket"She said looking up at Samual, real excitement in her eyes

Samual smiled briefly at his fort-buddy, as he mentally dubbed her. Everyone needed a nickname of some sort, and fort-buddy seemed quite right for Star right now, since she was building a crazy pillow fort with him, and it was so much fun, and he was already considering them friends. Sometimes Samual was glad that he had younger siblings, and niece, though they were only three, they were more to his level of fun, even if sometimes they didn't understand. They were the only ones that would attempt to build forts with him these days, everyone else was too serious. Tamalia never liked anything fun, Tess was pregnant and could barely bend over, let alone build a fort. Sometimes it sucked being between ages, and the only siblings that were close to his age were either too serious, or not a home anymore. Samual shrugged. He'd given up on trying to understand the cruel mind that was RHI, it wasn't within his thought range, he couldn't possibly see tha gain in other peoples suffering, it made him feel sick. "Why would someone start a magazine that exists just to cause people pain and suffering?" He asked retorically, trying to prove the point that the author of RHI was probably clinically insane and obviously didn't understand the power of words, or the impact they could have on others. He nodded in understanding and agreement. "Yeah, I suppose." He said quietly, no longer wanting to comment, or even think about the subject at hand. It gave him the creeps to even think about RHI, because in all honesty, the magazine scared him, things were okay before it, and then it comes and messes everything up and turns the school into a place for paranoia, rather than learning, he himself found him distracted by the magazine at times, it was crazy. When he realised that he had not looked at Star for a bit, in fact, he had a little bit of a frown on his face, he looked up and shot her a smile. He dind't want her thinking that she just ruined the mood when it was he who continued the conversation of RHI.

Samual sighed in relief when he heard Star tell him to not worry about it, he hated making people feel awkward or upset or something, it seemed so rude of him and totally unfair to the other person. When he let her go he smiled at her, but she was looking at the ground. Why was she doing that? Star seemed like a really quiet person, it was interesting because she seemed like she could be wild and tons of fun, but was too shy to show it, it didn't seem right. Samual only hoped that his playfullness was helping her shyness and not feeding it. When she finally looked up, he greeted her with a comforting smile, but then he got straight back to the task on hand and began setting up the pillows and the sticks ad making sure the fort was bulletproof, well, close enough to it. Atleast it wouldn't fall down if they got in there and bumped it accidently or something. He looked up at her momentarily and laughed quietly to himself as she seemed positively pleased when he complimented her on her idea, it was sort of sweet how she was so shy, definately a change to what he was used to with his friends. Samual smirked when she asked about his choice of words, curiosity of his vocabulary must be a Moon thing, because people didn't usually comment on it, or they never bothered to. "Yes, fantabulous, as in fantastic, and fabulous, all at the same time!" He explained. As he looked back at the fort, it looked about shoulder height, maybe a little higher, he listened to Star's idea, but turned his head as she trailed off, a reassuring smile, she seemed to be onto something with her suggestion, he wanted to hear more. "Go on." He said reassuringly, trying to get her to come out of her shell a little more. As she finished her suggestion, Samual nodded. Once again Star out-witted him. "Okay! But do you know where we'd get clothes pegs?" He asked, he wasn't sure Hogwarts had clothes hangers, none of his things got wet because he didn't go swimming, so he never had to worry about it. "If there are no clothes pegs, maybe these big hair clippy things that look like they have teeth and they help keep buns up." He explained. These clips were quite big and strong, to if they couldn't find clothes pegs, those clips would do fine, and since Star was a girl, he was sure she'd probably have a few, if not, he could always borroww without asking his sisters ones, he doubted she'd notice since the fort wasn't going to be up forever.
I put a link of the clip Samual was describing because I coldn't remember the name, and I wasn't sure the description was good enough for you to have a clue on what he was going on about. xD

The sun was beating down hard and Star wished she had worn shorts or something.Thankfully she had applied sun-cream to her skin this morning because if she hadn't,tomorrow she would look like a tomato. With her pale complexion Star tended to burn easily and get a pile of freckles.Compared to some Irish people Star's freckles weren't that bad at all.She had a few light ones on her arms and barely any on her face.During the winter months they tended to fade.Star's hair was a lot blonder then it usually is because the sunshine makes her hair turn very fair. Some people told her to put lemon juice in it so it would go even blonder but Star preferred her hair the way it was and she didn't like the idea of squeezing lemon juice into her hair.Star had never been on to play games. She had always been the type to stay inside and read. The only time she would really go outside was when she was exploring. This was the first time in a long time she was doing something constructive and fun that didn't involve any books or had anything to do with exploring. Star shrugged her shoulders "There is always people who will enjoy hurting others. It's just the world we live in "She said sighing. The world would always be littered with bad people,it was a fact of life. There was never going to be a time when evil didn't exist. All people could do was make sure evil never overruled goodness and happiness because then the world really was lost. Star didn't like how he seemed so upset about the magazine "Hey"She said nudging him playfully "In the end it's only a magazine.Couple of years from now it will mean nothing."Star said smiling and trying to make him feel better.Outside the school walls that magazine was nothing.

Star could feel herself beginning to coming out of her shell. The fact that she had just tried to comfort Sammy was proof enough.Under normal circumstances Star wouldn't have dared trying to comfort someone for the fear they would reject her help. But Star was starting to understand that Samual wasn't that sort of person.Star was beginning to feel comfortable around him and there wasn't much people she was comfortable around. She felt that she could say anything to him and he wouldn't judge her or think differently of her.It was a nice feeling and Star hoped it was one she could continue to feel. Star laughed "Its a nice word, suits you"She said, the last part more so to herself then Sammy. She didn't really realize she had spoken the last part aloud so she started putting more sticks in until she had made another row, which she carried over and set beside the last row.She stood beside him and tried to picture the future fort "Well we could use accio but be very precise, like ten green clothes pegs or something"She suggested but when she listened to his idea, she liked it better. ""I know what you mean,I have one or two"She said, her face scrunched up because she was thinking. She was almost sure Sara and Kate had one or two also so she could easily use accio to get the hair clips "Do you know anyone who has any?"She asked focusing back on Sammy. If they had to Star was sure one or two girls wouldn't mind if their clips suddenly disappeared. But Star would feel bad then and she wasn't sure if they would be able to return the clips to their rightful owners.

Sometimes, Samual liked to think he was part sunflower, because whenever the sun was out aand beaming down on him, he felt so much happier aand more energetic, he seemed to glow when the sun was out, because iit mmae hhim much much happier to be outside and playing under the sun. He rarely got sunburnt because his skin wwas uused to it, he wasn't tanned or anything, but he was a pleasent olive tone, so it helped fight off sunburns, though when he did get sunburnt, he felt like dying because he could never move wwhen in pain, he'd just lie around feeling sad about not being able to bebe outside and pplaying in the trees, or dipping his feet carefully into the water, or building forts and piles of leaves and talking to people. He shrugged slightly aas she pointed out the obvious. Samual knew that not everyone could be half decent, but most of the time he chose to ignore that fact, because it made him sad to know that most of his family contained some mean people, especially on his fathers side, they were horrible. And his siblings, well, some of them, were not always the mmost pleasent people to be around. But still, focusing on peoples flaws, writing about them, twisting stories aand publicizing it to the entire school was horrible, and even thinking about it made Samual's stomach turn. ''Sometimes, people bug me.'' He admitted. Sometimes, Sammy just felt like getting a dog or cat, sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room and just hanging out there, because dogs and cats weren't mean to ppeople, people were mean to people. In his experiense, a cat had never called him names. He smiled as she nudged him, and he nudged hher back playfully. ''If you want to turn tthis iinto aa fight, Star, I'll tell you now, I'll bring it.'' He joked, knowing full well that in an actual fight, if it ever happened, Star would probably kick his butt, because he wasn't violent, ever. Maybe if he was really angry and upset he might slap someone or something, but otherwise... he'd be more likely to cry in the face of his attacker, rather tthan actually attack them. ''You're right.'' He agreed, deciding to drop the subject once and for all. ''So Star, what's your favourite colour?" He asked, that question had nothing tto ddo with anything, which was good, a totally new subject to linger oon, and he'd find out more about his fort-buddy.

Samual was happy that Star seemed to be more comfortable around hher, because in all honesty, Sammy was harmless, it wasn't like he wwas ggoing to bite or anything, because Samual was aa lot of things, but canibal wasn't one of them. He smiled aas she seemed to like the word, Samual had not met many people that didn't like the word Fantabulous, because it was such aa great word to use, and it mmade hi m happy to say it to people as a form of brightening their days, and as llong as it continued to work, he'd continued to use ththe oword. But when she said that iit suited hhim, he smiled brightly, a lot of ppeople wowould tell him that, and it made him hapoier to hear it, because he liked to think tthat a lot of people coukd be ddescribed aas Fantabulous, and he liked being in the ccatagory. ''Thanks.'' He said hapoily, joining Star as she worked to turn the pile of stuff into a wwonderful fort of mass cushioness. They were nearly done aand iit got Sammy excited, because he ccouldn't wait to look at it and check out the inside, he wasn't sure what they were ggoing toto do once it was done, but hopefully they would both think of something aas equally entertaining as building the ffort was. It was nearly done too, just the top needed some attention, so Samual started fixing up the ttop so the blankets could go there and itit would be more stable. He laughed as she advised that they be precise when calling ththe clothes pegs. It wouldn't be nice to be attacked by clothes pegs either, but at least they could jump into the fort for protection from clothes pegs. He nodded, he figured that Star would have a few, she did have long hair afterall, his sister had half a million of them, and he knew for a fact because he helped her pack this year, he was amzed by all the giant clips she had, she nearly had as many of those as Samual had shoes, and he had quite a few pairs of shoes, jackets too, he had millions of jackets. "Well, my sister Tamalia has really long hair, so she has millions of them, they're all one colour too, so I don't really get it." He explained, putting his hands on his hips as he checked out the fort. Fantabulous. "I mean, why would you get tons and tons of clips that are all the one colour?" He added, shaking his head. "I can't stand having double of something, unless I have to, like the uniforms. But with my everydays clothes... I think it's better to have it all unique, you know?" When he realised that he was straying from the actual reason as to why they were talking about this, he shook his head. "I think I would be able to go get them easily. I could just run into the castle and beg her to give them to me, I'm sure she wouldn't mind." He explained. Tamalia rarely said no to Sam, he wasn't sure why, but even if she was super angry she rarely yelled at him, or told him to get lost. It was nice to have a sister like that, but sometimes he wondered if everyones sisters were like that, or if it was just his.

As Star filled the pillows with sticks, her thoughts floated to the topic Ryan.It was something that popped into her head often these days because she was very worried about him and upset. He was such an @ss to her and she hated it.Why couldn't he be back to normal? Why couldn't he be the caring, loving twin he once was.Star almost felt a physical hole since he was gone.No matter how happy she may feel or how distracted she was there was always that hole inside her that would remind her, things aren't okay.Your twin brother is slowly fading away in his anger.Star wanted to try and stop it but any time she tried to talk sense into him,he would just glare at her or look down at hr as if she was a piece of dirt. Then he would just walk away and leave her crying. It was a horrible feeling and she had felt down right embarrassed because everyone had looked and walked away.It had left a certain amount of anger bubbling under Star's quiet, shy exterior. It was a new feeling for Star who had never really been furious.Sure she had gotten into fights with her sisters but what she had felt then was nothing compared to the anger that was growing steadily. One day she was probably going to pop and she would make sure she popped at Ryan to see what he had done to her.It was all his fault. If he had just told them what was wrong, things probably wouldn't have turned out this way.She would probably be her normal happy but shy self. She would never feel the sort of hatred and anger she was feeling presently "I know how that feels"She said, the words bitter and angry. She accidently let her anger come through her voice.Star sighed and stopped filling the pillows for a moment. She closed her eyes and after a few moments she opened them again and began working. This was how she calmed herself down. "Sorry about that"she mumbled under her breath. She usually didn't let her emotions get the best of her but she could be quite emotional at time.A small smile graced her face "You'd beat me hands down"she said,Star was not in any way violent. She shy'd away from violence, she hated anything to do with it.It was horrible and she hoped she never had to use it.Star thought about his question "It would have to be light green and blue"she said smiling. She loved the color of the sky and the grass "What about you?"She asked curiously

Star always found it hard to be her true self around people. She was just naturally shy,she wasn't sure where it came from.It was annoying part of her but it was part of her personality none the less. She was trying her best to be more outgoing this year.It had taken her two years to realize Ryan wasn't going to listen to her pleadings and she had to get on her own two feet. She had to start making a life for herself because her twin Ryan was gone.Left the building.Until he came back Star wasn't going to bother with him because it was only going to cause her pain, pain she didn't deserve. She should focus on the present.Try make some friends in her own year so when she left the school she would be able to say that she had actually made friends unlike primary school. She had finished one of the last rows. She walked over and put it next to the last one.Once Sammy was finished his,she could run in and get some blankets. She hoped no one knocked their fort in the mean time.A few people had gathered, looking at them work.Star eyes them cautiously. They looked harmless enough but you should never judge someone by their appearance. "No bothers"She said smiling widely. It did suit him and although she hadn't meant for him to hear it,he seemed happy at the compliment so Star didn't feel that embarrassed. Now all they needed was the roof.It did look quite impressive and Star couldn't wait for it to be complete. When they were inside Star wasn't exactly sure what they were going to do but she had had fun building it in the first place.Star's hair wasn't the longest in the family. It was just below her shoulders which she preferred. She wouldn't like really long hair like Sara and Kate because that would just be awkward to take care of it.Star shrugged ,some people just like things to be the same.Sometimes they just don't want to stand out.Like herself for example. She liked to have different clothes but they were all really the same.Star didn't like the idea of being completely unique. "Suppose it depends on the person"She said looking at him amusingly. She would have expected him to have lots of different colour and types of clothes etc.Star was very observant and she could usually tell a lot about a person from one encounter. It wasn't a talent she got to use a lot. "I could run in and get the blankets?"She suggested

The fort was basically finished, there wasn't much that needed to be done at all, except the roof, which would be made of blankets and would take a very short amount of time to do, then they could work out what to do after. Sammy was excited, because he loved making forts, they were fun and a little mysteriousx. It was always fun to hang out in a fort with a friend. Samual tilted his head in slight confusion as Stars demeanor changed slightly and her words turned bitter and angry, it was very suprising because Star appeared to be quite a happy and nice person, then again, Sammy knew all too well that even though someone was happy and gentle on the surface, they could be feeling very different feelings inside, it was still quite suprising. When she apologised, Samual smiled sweetly and shook his head, he dind't mind her change in demeanor, because she didn't appeared to be angry with him, but with someone else. Sam wasn't sure who she was mad at, but he hoped they would apologise for whatever it is thye had done and then be friends with Star again, if it would help her be happier. "It's okay, sometimes people can be very stressing, and we just need to vent a little bit. It's natural." With stress, Samual usually crying, because he wasn't a violent person. This usually got him called a baby, or a sook, and those names hurt, but he tried to ignore it, because it was better than being called a bully, or being known as someone that goes around hitting and attacking people when upset. Sammy laughed and flipped his curls out of his face. He highly doubted that he'd beat Star in a fight, it would probably be a stalemate if Star wasn't violent either. "I guess it would be a stalemate!" He annoucned. Which meant that they'd probably never fight, which was comforting, because fighting was a horrible thing and Sammy couldn't stand it. Sammy dind't mind the colours light green and blue, but they weren't his favourite. They did remind him of the sky and fresh grass though, which was always very awesome. "They're nice colours." He commented. "But my favourite colour is purple, because it's so versatile and seems to go with everything. Even certain shades go well with yellow! It's amazing." He explained. Purple was such a lovely colour, there wasn't a shade of purple Sammy disliked, it was just so lovely and very pretty. Usually Sammy changed his favourite colour every couple of months, but purple had been his favourite since the start of the year, he wasn't sure why, but he didn't mind. It was a very nice colour, too bad Gryffindors signature colour wasn't purple, but you couldn't have everything, besides, red wasn't such a bad colour.

Sammy nodded happily and got back to work. he compliment was nice and made him happy. "You know Star, you're really something." He complimented. "You're really nice, and a great fort maker, something very hard to come by." He added, on a more playful note. Since Star had complimented him, Sammy felt it only right for him to return the favour, besides, compliments were always nice to get and give. Sammy shrugged, Star was right, and he knew she was, but sometimes it amazed him at how different Tamalia was to him, especially with dress sense. Sometimes Samual felt that she really needed to loosen up and see the silver lining in the black cloud, but she never could do that. Tamalia had always been a little more serious and angry than Sammy, mainly because they were treated very differently as children and that treatment rubbed off on their personalities. "I guess, but it doesn't mean that can't find it strange." He countered playfully. "But for now we must remember that it's probably Tamalia's clips I'll be borrowing." He added, mentally thanking his sister for her extremely long hair that often needed clipping. Samual nodded. "Okay here's a plan. I'll go in and get clips, and you get the blankets?" He suggested, looking around at the people that walked past and eyed the fort suspeciously. He smiled at their confused expressions, hopefully no-one would fool around with the fort, but he doubted they would, because most people were pretty trustworthy at Hogwarts, Samual had yet to meet someone that would actually destroy their wonderful fort. Besides, Sammy could run for a far bit, so the travel to Gryffindor Common room wouldn't be too long, once when running late for Herbology, Sammy made it there in five minutes, and he took that long because he was still getting dressed on the way, and nearly tripped down the stairs. "When you're done here we can both dash off." He added, finishing off his part. "Okay, I'll be right back!" He called, running off to the Gryffindor Common room and collecting his sisters various clips, thanksful for the fact that she was actually there and had agreed to letting him borrow them, otherwise he'd either have to wait for a Gryffindor girl to get his sisters clips for him, or find out some way to get into the girls area. Having the clips, Sammy ran back to where he and Star had been making the fort and sat down on his knees for a rest, before lying the clips on the ground and looking at them. There were a lot of them, it was weird looking at them all together, and he began to question just how much hair Tamalia had. But then again, these were probably some of Tess, Lisa, Abbey and Amanra's clips, they all had long hair, to it was warrented to have half a million clips for them to share. But not most of the girls had gotten hair-cuts and so didn't have much use for them right now, which would probably explain why Tamalia had so many in her possession. "I think this will be enough, what say you?"

The sun was beating down hard on Star's back. The sun was nearly directly above them now.Star wished she had something to tie up her hair with. Her long blond hair seemed to be absorbing the heat and it was covering her neck and partial back so she was even more hot.She couldn't wait to be under the shelter of the fort.It would probably get roasting in the fort after a while but for a little while at least, the sun would be off their backs.Well Star was going to welcome the shade she didn't know how Sammy felt.It was funny how fun something as childish as making a fort could be.Never in a million years would she have thought of making a fort with all the spare pillows that would have landed at her feet.It would have been embarrassing if they had landed there and she would have had to clean them up herself. It would have looked weird seeing her with a whole bunch of pillows floating in mid air following her around the castle as she tried to figure out where all the pillows had been taken from. But thankfully that was not going to happen,at least she wouldn't be on her own.Hopefully Sammy would help her bring them in or else they could just leave them here and hope someone else brings them in before it rained, though it didn't look like it was going to do that for a few days at least.Star looked up and smiled at him "I know but..I shouldn't know how that feels because my brother shouldn't be such an @ss"She said looking down as she said the last few words. If her brother hadn't been so selfish she would never feel this way and their family would probably be alright by now."Look, forget I just said that"She said smiling sympathetically at him-she felt bad for saying that. She looked up as he flipped his curls out of his face,Star felt her heart beat speed up a little, she quickly looked down and concentrated on trying to get the stick into the pillow.Star nodded and smiled "Yeah probably"she said, they would probably never fight,Star had never seen herself as a violent person though sometimes she did feel like beating Ryan up though he would easily beat her as he was twice her size but that didn't stop her from thinking it. "I guess you're right, purple does go with almost everything"She said as she finished the last pillow. She brought the last pile over and they were finally finished, all the needed was the blankets now and the forst would be finished.

Star was surprised when he commented her,the shock probably showed on her face though she was quick to turned it into a smile.Someone other then her family had never complimented her before. It was a new feeling really,to be complimented by a new friend. "Am..uh thanks"She said shyly a blush forming on her cheeks. "I'm sorry"She added "It's just no one has really complimented me before"She said, her head down in embarrassment. "I must look like a right idiot"she thought to herself. "Pull yourself together girl"She told herself before looking up at him once more with a real smile on her face. "That's true, everyone is entitled to their own opinion"She said shrugging her shoulders.Everyone was entitled to their own opinion. That was meant by democracy.Freedom of speech, though in some countries that didn't happen at all.Or else it was just woman who couldn't hold their own views or speak their own minds.Star would hate to live in a place like that, she would be highly indignant if anyone told her that she couldn't have her own view or say what she wanted to say. "Okay so,sounds like a plan"She said ,following his gaze and looking at the people who were eyeing the fort with suspicion or curiousness. She hoped none of them were mean enough to mess with it or knock it down. "I think it's finished,I'll see you later"She said as he left. She did a few bits and bobs with the fort, just checking everything was okay and the pillows wouldn't collapse on top of them before running off into the castle.Star was a good runner,it was the only athletic thing she could do other then swimming. She ran into the castle and ran up the steps to then North Tower, only pausing on the sixth floor to catch her breath before she was off again. When she entered the common room, she went up to her dorm and took the sheets and blankets off the bed,she did the same to her roommate who she was sure wouldn't mind.Luckily Sara was also in the dorm so she asked her could she borrow hers and her roommates.Thankfully she agreed and Star was pretty sure she had enough now.She then walked out of the common room and ran a bit slower back to the gardens as she could barely see where she was going and the twelve sheets and blankets were quite heavy all together. When she came back,Sammy was already there with all the clips laid out.Star's eyes widened at the amount of clips there "Wow,that's a lot of clips"She said, before dumping the sheets and blankets on the ground. She had also managed to get a hair bobn from her locker so she bent down, gathered all her hair and tied it into a high ponytail. "Now lets get these sheets and blankets up"She said looking at the tree.Someone would have to go through the doorway and the climb up he tree. The other person would then have to throw one side of the sheet to the person in the tree who would then tie the blanket/sheet to the tree while the other person would clip it to the person.

Sammy adored the sunlight, it always gave him energy to do things, if it weren't for the warm sunlight, Samual was sure he wouldn't be as happy and excitable as he was, since he never could work up a lot of excitement when in a cold place, like the dungeons or the middle of a cold forest. Sunlight, flowers and warmth were more to Samual's tastes when it came down to location and where to hang out and have fun, but even though he loved the sun and its warmth, sometimes it wasn't so nice because it burnt. Though luckily the sunlight wasn't hot enough to burn Sam today, he had atleast several more hours outside in direct sun before he felt the effects of sunburn, which was a relief, because a sunburn would surely destroy his mood. Luckily the fort should keep the sunlight at bay, and it would hopefully keep them relatively cool, because Samual's body temperature was slowly going up, but not at an alarming rate. "You what I just realised, we're going to have fun trying to figure out where all of these pillows came from." He said, shaking his head and laughing. They'd probably be running through the castle, throwing pillows on every chair they passed. There was a bright side though... neither of them would probably have to exercise after all of that, because it was a big caslte, and there were many pillows. Samual nodded understandingly, and was about to say something, but held his tongue when she said that he should just forget she said it. It wasn't Sammy's business to go through her life and give her advice, because sometimes he coudn't deal with his own feelings and complications, so he couldn't really go around giving Star advice, but he could lend her an ear. "Don't worry Star, it's fine." He reassured with a smile. When Star looked down, Sammy just shrugged slightly, she still seemed so shy, but she appeared to be a little more open. Samual nodded. He had yet to find a colour that looked horrible with purple, it dind't even look half bad with orange, if you got the right shade. "I think that's why royal people liked it so much in the olden days, and it was apparently expensive or something." He added, taking a step back to admire the fort and smiled brightly, it looked fantabulous.

Samual was a little confused when Star seemed so shocked that he complimented her but smiled when she smiled. For a second there he thought he'd done something wrong, but was relieved to see that she did't seem offended or anything, and once agian her cheeks started going red again. It seemed to be a regular occurance for her, but Sammy didn't hold it against her, she didn't seem very talkative. When she apologised, he realised that she mustn't be used to people and he smiled slightly, because he didn't expect everyone to talk to a lot of people, and Star seemed to nice and shy, she deserved to have more compliments. "That's okay, don't act like it's a bad thing. It's nothing to be embarrassed about, you obviously haven't found the right friends that appreciate you as much as they should." He explained, smiling. Sammy hoped that what he said would convince Star that it wasn't embarrassing to not be complimented before. He smiled when she looked up and smiled, and they moved on. The talk of opinions was an interesting one, because some people had opinions that hurt others, but it would be unfair if people were treated differently, and even though people said that everyone was equal, people were still treated differently. "You're right, it would be weird if you had to hold back your beliefs and that." He said in agreement. Samual nodded and Star was off. He couldn't believe that the fort was all but finished now, it looked great, and to make things even sweeter, no-one had destroyed it while they were gone. Samual smiled when he saw Star coming back, with tons of sheets in her arms and nodded when she commented on the clips. "Well... I live in a house with tons girls, and they all have long hair and buy their owns clips, Tamalia just happens to have the most hair and tends to lose her clips the most also." He explained, chuckling slightly at the amount of times Tamalia would roam the house on the hunt for clips. Samual watched Star just flip her hair over her head and do it up, living with the amount of sisters he had, he'd witness this many times, but he could never understand how girls could gather up all their hair so easily and keep it in place. Samual had a hard enough time keeping his curls in line, and they were not where near as long and think as some of his sisters hairstyles were. Samual looked around and realised that someone would probably have to climb the tree, and he became excited. Mainly because he loved climbing trees and had climbed many in his time. "I bags climbing the tree!" He exclaimed, entering the fort carefully and began climbing the tree like he would any other tree. Luckily it had many lumps that made it simple for th Gryffindor to pull himself up to one of the branches with relative ease.

Star had always been a quiet kid, that was when she was presence of people. She was just naturally shy and she had been for all her life.It was a lot of the time an annoying trait because she never put herself out there. She always kept to herself and did her own thing and acted as if there was no world around her.She had never really tried to change herself or be a bit more outgoing because she had always had her family and that was all she thought she needed, she had only really been herself around them. She loved and cared about them so much and she hated the way that things weren't right in the house.Everything had once been happy and almost perfect.Of course they had had their arguments and troubles but nothing to the extent as to what had happened over the past five years.Their family had gone through so much, testing the relationship between everyone in the family. Some like Sara and Kate had completely fallen apart for a while,Star and Ryan's had deflated like a balloon and Star knew things had become fraught between her parents,it was to be expected.Their whole lives had changed, from once living in a small house to being extremely rich,to being the parents of four normal kids to being the parents of four magical kids and then all the mess with Kate,Sara and Ryan.So far Star was the only one to cause no trouble. She really hoped that lasted and soon Ryan would be back to normal though she wasn't sure of things would be the same between the two again. Star looked at he pillows "Oh yeah,so much fun"She said laughing, looking at the pillows. They would just probably throw a few, here and there.Star smiled "Thanks"She said quietly, appreciating the help.Hopefully things would improve with Ryan though there are some things you will never forgive. "I guess your right"She said, looking back at her own Queen. It was weird saying that.In Ireland, though relations had improved greatly between the British and Irish the two countries would always be bonded by their history a lot of it not good.Star never thought of herself as British even though her new passport said differently. She would always be Irish,no matter where she lived.

Star twidled her thumbs, she had never really had a proper friend before, she had never had a best friend not related to her.Ryan had always been her best friend and she had never thought she would need anything other then her family.Maybe if she had been outgoing she would have made friends anyway but alas she hadn't.She had never once had a group of friends,it was almost a foreign subject to her.Star squirmed over so slightly, she didn't want to admit that she had never had a group of friends before. That would be very embarrassing. But she didn't want to lie either. Her family had complimented her but your family was almost biased. They may say you are beautiful but that might not be strictly true. That's what Star thought. "Yeah I know what you mean,it's just...I've never really had a group of friends"She started off quietly, her cheeks flaming "I've...always been a bit of a loner"She said rubbing her hand on the back of her neck. She felt like such a loser as she said it but she couldn't not say it,she had to say it almost. She was a terrible liar and though she could keep anyone's secret, she couldn't keep her own. "Everyone has a right to express their views even if it's complete rubbish, you have to let everyone have a chance because in this world people are supposed to be equal"Star said, she was really into the whole equal thing. She thought the world would be a much better place if everyone was treated equally. Star frowned, herself,Sara and Kate all had long hair but they had never used clips like these. They usually tied it up,left it down or did other things with it.She had definitely seen the clips before but had never used one "I've never used one before, none of us have actually"She said in reference to her sisters.Star loved her hair,it was blond, long and soft.Easy to maintain and she could do lots of things with it.She loved twirling pieces around her fingers.Star laughed as he dived for the tree. She was glad he had opted to climb as although she wouldn't have minded, their was always the possiblity that she would fall off, knowing her luck. She walked over and picked up a sheet and two clips "Here catch"She said throwing the clips up to him.She then flung up one side of the sheet and hoped he would catch it

Samual looked at the pillows, atleast it didn't appear to be any house pillows, because it would be awkward if they had Slytherin and Hufflepuff pillows, because how were they supposed to get them in those houses? He doubted that any of the pillows were from places that had passwords or something on them, because it would be difficult for a pillow to get out through a closed door, especially if that door, or enterance had a password to open it. He ran his finger through his curls in thought, Sam was trying to figure out how and where they could get all of these pillows inside efficiently, because they couldn't stay out here, they could be attacked by anything, or the weather could destroy them. "Maybe they came from... the First Floor?" It was supposed to be a confident possibility, but what came out was a sentence that proved that he had absolutely no idea of how they were going to clean all of this up, or where any of it could go. "But let's not think about that right now." He added, telling himsef more than Star. They were building the fort no matter what, that's what Sammy had to think about, not the trouble they were going to have after the fort was built, but the unlimited excitement they were going to have building the fort. When Star thanked him, Samual smiled. "Any time!" He replied. Though secretly he hoped thatStar would never be found in the Hogwarts Garden, surrounded by pillows again, because that would just be ridiculously hilarious, but it wouldn't be so hilarious if someone had been attacked by the pillows, and they didn't take it as well as Samual had, in fact, it would be horrible if someone yelled at her for calling on so many pillows, especially if they found out that she had done it once before. Samual quickly shook his head, stuff like this probably would never happen again, since he doubted it was Star's intention to nearly wind up having pillows slaming into her and her picnik.

Sammy quickly realised that Star seemed to become extremely nervous, she was squirming slightly and growing a deep shade of red, he wasn't sure if it was healthy or not and he started getting worried. Was she going to faint? Did she need water? Did something bite her? Sammy wasn't exactly sure what was happening, but he cautiously approached her, just incase she was going to faint or something. The last thing the Gryffindor wanted was for Star to hit her head on a sharp rock if she fell down. When she started talking, Samual released a quiet sigh of relief, he was so happy that she hadn't been bitten by something or anything, but what she said wasn't exactly the happiest thing he'd ever heard, and her reaction to the confession was so much worse. Sammy smiled kindly. "Star, I didn't talk to more than seven people, until I was ten." He admitted with a small shrug. "When I lived in Australia, my best friends were my parents, and my lizard." He explained. All of whom were now dead, something that his mind didn't dwell on for very long as he refused to think about something so negative when he was trying to be so positive. "So it's not that weird, or embarrassing, being a loner, it just means that now you can be a totally different person." Samual could honesty not understand the embarrassment of being a loner, not anymore anyway, though he had always been oblivious to most social expectations, which was why he was able to switch from being a 'loner', into the person he was today. It was probably because it had never really been his choice to be friendless, in groups he had always been quite loud and bubbly. So it had not been because he was shy, instead it had been because he had never been able to 'blend in' as his parents would put it, and so he wasn't really allowed outside when he was younger, because he could never blend in with the muggle children that lived near him and would always get upset when they picked on him. Samual agreed with what Star said, sometimes other peoples oppinions seemed totally crazy and out-of-place with the real world, but it wouldn't be fair if they couldn't have their say, it was just other peoples jobs to not listen to them if it's offensive, well, try anyway. Samual nodded slightly, then smiled. "Well I've never used one either." He joked. Sammy sat quietly on a sturdy part of the tree and looked around, there were some people lounging arounf the lawn, soaking up some of the sunlight, and their were some people just lurking about the grounds, doing whatever it was they were doing at that time. When he heard Star, he quickly cought the clips, nearly falling off the tree, but managing to wrap himself around the branch before he went head over heels. When the sheet up to him, it was much easier to catch, and he then swung it around one of the trees branches, tied it and then clipped it to the branch, just as an extra measure so it wouldn't collapse on them when they went in. he Gryffindor pulled on it slightly, pleased with the fact that it didn't come apart. "Okay, it's stable!" He called down to Star.

She hoped none of the pillows were house pillows because then she would have to find Kate to put them into the Hufflepuff common room and someone from Slytherin. She doubted she would find Ryan,he was probably lurking somewhere in the Dungeons, feeling sorry for himself as always. It was a pity he had turned out the way he had because Star had always been herself around him.He had been the only one who could convince her to put herself out there, try new things, try make new friends. He had been her best friend and then he had left her in the cold. Some people may think that she is making a big deal out of nothing and she must build a bridge and get over it but there are something you can never forgive people for or forget things people have done to you and this was one of these things. He might change but Star wasn't sure if she would ever be able to trust him again. He had been the one she had trusted wholly and fully. They had been together all their lives except by three minutes.Until Hogwarts they had literally been inseprable. You wouldn't see one with out the other but all that had changed and it would probably never be the same though Star would love it to be.She loved her twin so much and it hurt her on so many levels that he had left her and all the things he had said after.Star shrugged her shoulders "Maybe the place with the least pillows"She said grinning,it was probably the best idea unless students.Star wondered had they knocked anyone else over on their way here.Star couldn't help but giggle at the thought of a whole bunch of students being taken out by pillows. "Good idea"She said agreeing. They had almost finished the fort and she couldn't wait for the roof to be on so they could go inside. She wasn't sure what they would be doing once they got in but Star would think of that when the time came. The day had turned out very well and very unexpected for Star. She had made a really good friend and she was making a fort something she had never done before. She had also changed a lot in the short time she had been talking to Sammy

Star looked up a look of shock on her face, she had never expected someone like Sammy to be what she would call a loner.Someone as bubbly and happy as him she would expect to have loads of friends, she quickly tried to hide the shock off her face, she didn't want to seem surprised because she would feel bad then."Pet Lizard?"She asked,a small smile playing at her lips. That was a new one to her.She wish she could be just as okay with being a loner as Sammy. She was just different that way, that was where their personalities differ.Sammy seemed to have the self-confidence she lacked. She had never been self-confident,she couldn't remember ever having any self-confidence,she never remembered feeling proud of herself. It wasn't that she hated herself, its just she didn't have any self-confidence .She just hadn't put herself out there and she just didn't think she was the prettiest or the smartest either. She had gotten used to it and she didn't mind.Star laughed "I don't think you could control all that hair"She sad eyeing his messy curls. Her hair was straight and it was easy to control, she was the only girl in the family that had straight hair.Sara and Kate had wavy hair.Star gasped when Sammy nearly fell off the tree. She was glad that he didn't fall, that would just have been disasterous and horrible. "Okay so"She said getting the other piece if sheet and attached it to the pillows. She then bent down and picked another sheet and threw it up to Sammy again.

The good thing was that none of the pillows appeared to have any emblems on them, except the emblem of Hogwarts New Zealand, but none looked directly tied to any of the four houses, so that made their lives so much easier, hopefully none were from any offices, otherwise that would be an awkward discussion with the Professor if they were asked why they had so many pillows. Samual shrugged and a grin grew on his face. "Maybe, but what if someone was hoarding the pillows?" He questioned cheekily, he wasn't serious, because he didn't know of anyone that would actually have a huge collection of pillows this big, that would just be ridiculously huge and nearly impossible to control. Sammy then began thinking about how the pillows could have come from all over the place, and possibly bowled people over on their way to Star. Were there other victims that were knocked down, just like Sammy? It was certainly possible. Though the Gryffindor was trying to not worry about all of that too much, they couldn't really get in trouble for this, hopefully. It wasn't like they were doing anything wrong, they were just making the best fort known to Mankind, and having a boat-load of fun whilst doing it, nothing wrong with that, especially since the fort was coming so well, it was really big, bigger than Samual had first thought it would be, which was fantabulous, he couldn't have asked for a better fort. The only thing the fort was missing was a roof, and they were getting to that right now, so once the roof was done, everything would be set and perfect, a perfect little fort. Sammy glanced down at the ground and spotted Star's basket, sitting in the centre of the fort, the Gryffindor had totally forgotten that Star had actually been having a picnik out here, since it didn't seem like a super important thiing anymore because he had been focusing on the fort-building. Untill now, Sammy had no ideas what they could do once the fort was built. "Hey Star," he called, getting the Ravenclaw's attention before continuing. "How about you have your picnik in the fort?" He suggested. "Since it's getting pretty bright and that, and since we just spent our time building the fort, might as well do something productive with it, like a picnik!" Picnik's were great fun, and there was really nothing else he could think of to do, besides, he was quite sure Star wouldn't have a problem with it, and if she did, Sam wouldn't bug her with the suggestion again, because that's what it was, just a suggestion.

Sammy's smile grew to a huge grin when he saw the face of utter shock Star was wearing, it was true and prehaps unexpected by many, but it was four years ago, and sure, he had lived a very quiet life for the majority of his life, but he felt that that prepared him to be able to befriend more people, because he could sort of try and understand why someone was shy, not just try to open them up, because sometimes it was best to let shy people be shy. "Yeah, her name was Lizzie, she was an Eastern Blue-tongue lizard." He explained, a hint of saddness in his voice. Lizzie had a few years ago, so he wasn't exactly upset by the fac anymore, he'd had time to get over it, but he still missed the energetic lizard, she was a great companion, that, and Sammy got attached to things easily, so that contributed to him missing the small reptile. Samual laughed along with Star, she was right, most of the time he'd just do a comb-over and let his hair rest itself, it would never stay in a particular style or shape, it'd just part to a side and blow in the breeze. "I can sort of control it, I decide what side my fringe parts on." He explained, flipping his curls out of his emerald eyes, they often decided to fall in front of his vision, and though they rarely got in his way of seeing, it felt a little weird having his hair hang infront of his face too much, because he wasn't used to it. When Samual realised that he'd caused Star to worry for a split second, he waved his hand to show that he was fine. "I'm okay, don't worry!" He said, laughing slightly as he grabbed the next sheet, they were quite large, so maybe one or two more would make the roof, and the rest could be a floor or something. "Well, I think I just need two more sheets here, and then the rest of the sheets can be a floor in the fort or something?" He suggested, tying the sheet to more branches carefully and awaiting Star's decision.
