Ravenclaw,Practice
The first quidditch game of the year was around the corner, and since Ravenclaw would be joining the game with many new players it seemed logical to Flavio to host a practice to ensure all the players had some experience. It was only fair to give the people that were new an opportunity to play with the entire team, and for the older players to work with the new members so the team had a sense of unity and confidence when they arrived to play their first game. Flavio notified each player a few days prior and arrived early on the day their practice would begin to set everything up. When he was sure everything was ready he waited for everyone to arrive, hopeful that the practice would go well and the experience would allow everyone to feel confident in their abilities.

The Ravenclaw team was going to practice more and harder and Elizabeth was up for it. She needed to hone her keeper skills to become a better keeper for the team. Last matches went well, but things could always be better. Elly arrived at the pitch with her broom and robes and greeted the team Captain. Flavio was good at his job and Elly hoped they were going to win the cup this year.

Pushing her nervousness deep, deep down, October approached the pitch for the Ravenclaw practice, broom tucked under her arm. Even after her revelations over the holidays, the pressure from Quidditch still felt intense. The entire team was depending on her, and despite her practice she still felt she had so little experience with the game. It was nerve-wracking, and she did her best not to let her worries show as she joined her teammates on the pitch, giving the captain a wordless wave in greeting. She would do her best, work hardest to make sure that when they were facing a real opponent she wouldn't let them down. Waiting for the practice to start October hung back a little, arms crossed, trying not to show how nervous she was.

Jacob didn't like Quidditch, nor did he like any other sport than chess. He did like to make strategies to confuse opponents. Which is why he initially tried out for the team. Jacob somehow thought he wouldn't make the team and while on the bench he could help the team with his witts. Not that he was bad at flying, that wasn't true either he was rather good at it. Jacob had brought a broom and supplies and now he was ready to play as a chaser. He had already made a roll of parchment filled with things he had on his mind from strategies to new techniques. Jacob arrived on the pitch and waited for the practice to start. He felt way out of his comfort zone, he didn't knew anyone here.

In all honesty Isaac hadn't expected to make the team as there had already been a number of players looking for his role, and the Ravenclaw had been shocked to find out he'd made it. Even though he'd not been part of the team since his first year, there were a couple of faces he recognised although the only one he was going to worry himself about was Jackson. Between them they had to make sure the rest of the team would survive out on the pitch, and keen to get going, the fourth year joining his new and old teammates on the pitch, exciting to be doing something for fun for once.

When a few members of the team arrived, Flavio cleared his throat to speak to everyone. "Good morning, the reason for our practice today is to give everyone experience playing together before our first game." He looked to everyone and smiled, wanting to make the experience seem less daunting to the players that arrived who were new to the team. "Our practice will end when the seeker catches the snitch, the beaters hit two people, or when the chasers have scored three goals. Elizabeth, I want you to guard the south hoops." He nodded to the keeper. While it was a bit of a worry for him to not have an alternate keeper at first, it seemed less daunting for the sake of practices as it would be easier to pay attention to one side of the pitch instead of both. "That's all for now, you can get on your brooms and begin." He added, as he released the snitch and the bludgers. After that he held the quaffle under his arm and flew into the air as the practice began. As soon as he was able to he passed the quaffle to the new chaser on the team, wanting to give the boy an opportunity to attempt a goal first.

When they were given the go ahead, Isaac rose into the sky with one of the bats, eager to start refreshing himself about how to locate and aim the bludger. Even though it had been s while since he last played, he was confident he could get back into the swing of things soon enough, and began his hunt around the pitch.

Once Elias arrived at practice and listened to what the captain had to say he he mounted his broom and took to the air. He was keen to get some practice in before the first game even if he didn't expect to play. He took the quaffle when it was thrown into the air and made his way toward the hoops.

Isaac watched as one of the younger players grabbed the Quaffle, and keeping an eye out for any bludgers that were going to try and head towards them he recalled his own experience. Back in his first year he'd managed to avoid being hit altogether, but it certainly didn't look fun for those that had collided with the iron ball.

October listened to Flavio introduce the practice, trying not to let the butterflies in her stomach get the best of her, then kicked off when the rest of the team did, joining them in the sky. She soared around the pitch for a moment, keeping her eyes peeled for any signs of gold. October's heart leaped into her throat when she saw it only moments later, ducking under a teammate's broom as she shot after the glimmer. From such a distance October had half expected that she was seeing things but as she drew closer it became clear that her target was in sight. Extending her arm, October twisted and wove after the small ball, eventually feeling her fingers clasp around the cool metal. Looking back at her teammates almost in disbelief, October held the snitch aloft. "I got it." Could it have really been that easy?"

Elias saw in the corner of his eye the seeker celebrating catching the snitch but he decided to keep heading towards the hoops. He threw the quaffle toward the hoops but it flew wide.

Jackson mounted his broom and flew into the air going in search of a bludger. He spotted one in the corner of his eye and headed straight for it. He cracked his club against the bludger but he didn't aim properly and it hit one of his own players. "Sorry!" Jackson yelled.
