Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y51/S1

Maggie was thankful for the break. She took a few moments to grab some water and stretch from sitting on the broom. It wasn't something she always thought about until she had been on the broom for a good while, but it definitely took some strength and conditioning to fly for long periods of time. She set her water down and headed back up with her bat, ready to hit some bludgers.
 
Lilith wasn't so sure the snitch was really this low down either, she hadn't realized she'd come so low until her foot almost touched the ground. Oopsie.
 
Julio found himself flying in almost aimless circles as the snitch remained elusive.
 
Maggie almost immediately found herself within reach of a bludger and smacked it with her bat. The bludger went sailing into one of the young seekers, @Julio Santana.

Lucy always felt nervous when the younger players got hit, relieved when she saw Lilith going to check on Julio.
 
Hinemoa kept flying wide of the rest of the team, hoping to spot the snitch without getting too close to the bludgers.
 
Lilith didn’t see the snitch not any bludgers so she dared to get closer to Julio again. “You good?” she asked the first year.
 
Maggie was glad to see that her bludger hit when the other one whirled right by her. She caught up to it and swung, watching as it hit @Rose Glass this time.

Trying to keep the seekers on their toes Lucy lined up and aimed for Hinemoa, but her angle was a little off and she hit @Cyrus Thorne instead.

Hinemoa yelped and pushed her broom on when she saw a bludger coming her way, but it didn't even make it that far, and as bad as she felt about it she was glad another player had taken the shot instead.
 
Lucy flew on, keeping one eye on the rest of the players as she did.
 
Hinemoa flew lower, once more searching for the snitch below the level her teammates were playing at.
 
The bludgers had started flying around again and people were taking hits, Lilith tried her best to stay out their way.
 
Lucy pulled up on a bludger and swung, watching the ball sail harmlessly right through the air Lilith had just vacated. Damn it.
 
Hinemoa pulled her broom up a little higher again, not having any luck searching down low.
 
Lilith noticed the bludger that went through the air she’d left behind. She internally thanked whatever entity was listening for that decision she’d made.
 
"I'm fine," he huffed quickly after another bludger hit, trying to shake off the sudden sting. He didn't want to look weak in front of his teammates.

Magne grabbed the ball when there was an opportunity to and began racing towards the hoops.
 
Lilith shrugged at Julio's huff and was glad he was okay. Deciding to get out of his hair she continued her search.
 
Despite his confidence and ability to take the quaffle it did not help him to score, and the shot went wide.
 
Shaking his head just a little, Julio took one moment longer before continuing his search for the snitch.
 
Lilith began humming a song she'd heard back at home in Finland, she couldn't remember the words exactly but it was by some new artist and the beat was catchy.
 
Rose let out a yelp as she was hit by another bludger, turning to see which beater had aimed for her. Perhaps Maggie would be her next target.
 
Lilith was blissfully unaware of the fact that Rosé was planning her roommates doom.
