Xiuying still couldn't believe that they had managed to win a game. It had been a while since they had won a game, and she was thrilled. The Ravenclaw captain was content with the weather today. It was sunny but with a few clouds spread out around the sky. There was a slight breeze in the air, but she had hoped that it wasn't going to affect their practice today.

The Ravenclaw chaser had made sure to arrive at the pitch a little earlier to set everything up. She made sure to bring out some extra brooms and other sorts of equipment if any of the other players needed it, as well as some bottled water for the players to have as they, of course, needed to stay hydrated.

As Xiuying had finished setting up for practice, it wasn't long until her teammates started to arrive at the pitch for practice. She smiled and waved at them as they arrived. Once everyone had arrived, she smiled and looked around at the team. "Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well and are pumped and ready for practice! We have our match with Slytherin just around the corner. They're quite a strong and competitive team, but as long as we all work together and do our part, I'm sure we have a shot," Xiuying says with a smile, trying her best to encourage the team for what was ahead. "You guys all know what to do. Beaters, try defending as well as practising hits. Chasers, let's try passing the quaffle a bit more as well. Keepers and Seekers, just work as hard as you can on what you're already doing," Xiuying says with an encouraging smile. "Alright, let's get up in the air and practice!"

[Hamish Reid]

Hamish listend to the speech, biting back a scoff. Yeah, it was a tough opponent. The only question was who would kill him first- his brother or his brothers possible new girlfriend? Hamish sighed, and took off into the air. Maybe he should quit Quidditch. He was tired of being a punching bag for Celia. But still, he didn't want to just walk away. He started his search, determined to just make himself faster. If he caught the snitch quickly, then he wouldn't get so battered during games.

 

[Crystal Holmgaard]

Crystal made her way to the quidditch pitch. It was good to practice for the next game. If they would win again, that would mean much. But the fact they needed to go against Slytherin was not amazing. Celia was the captain and the bludgers from Slytherin always seemed to hurt more. She smiled shortly to Xiuying and went quickly to the north hoops. And made herself ready.

 

[Savannah Walters]

Savannah didn't expect to be able to catch the snitch immediately, and of course that didn't happen. She just had to start searching for it, needing to be better and quicker at it.

 

[Rory Styx]

As soon as practice got underway Rory grabbed the quaffle and started making his way to the hoops.

 

[Monday Weeks]

Monday mounted his broom and took off after one of the bludgers. He whacked it toward their seeker, but it flew slightly off course and hit @Rory Styx instead. Whoops.

 

[Savannah Walters]

Savannah still did not catch the snitch.

Monday flew around the pitch, looking for a new bludger to hit.

Savannah didn't catch the snitch.

Once close enough to the hoops Rory took a shot at goal and it sailed through.

Hamish continued his search.

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey took off with the others, now proudly the sole youngest student on the team since that other one had transferred out without any kind of warning, and looked around for bludgers to hit.

 

[Michael Watson]

Michael took to the sky, keeping an eye on where the seekers were.

Xiuying smiled when Rory managed to get a score into the hoops. When the quaffle was thrown back into play, Xiuying grabbed a hold of the quaffle before circling around the pitch towards the hoops.

 

[Monday Weeks]

Monday kept flying around the pitch.

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey wasn't managing to get bat on bludger yet but she was just warming up after all.

Michael kept an eye out for bludgers.

Hamish continued his search.

Audrey hit a bludger but it didn't go where she hoped it would.

When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the hoops and it had managed to sail through.

Michael skied the errant bludger away from the team.

Monday dodged a bludger as he flew.
