It was still early into the term, and Eurydice had been trying to decide on which clubs she should join up with this year. Last year, she'd been looking forward to joining Heta Omega, and she had. It was nothing like her mum said it would be. Well, there were probably nice girls in the club, but Eury didn't know many of the people there except Rose. And for some reason, most of the student population tended to forget Rose existed, which was just rude. She was slowly contemplating asking Rose if both of them should just leave the sorority altogether since it was doing absolutely nothing for either of them. Eury was planning to join the SDA this year, though. She hadn't seen a need to join it last year, but after what happened with the Slytherin hag, it seemed that learning defensive (and offensive) spells would be the best course of action. Maybe she would ask Rose if she wanted to come with her there. Or maybe join the Wild Patch - that was a quiet club, right? How to broach the subject with her cousin, though, Eury hadn't decided on yet. But she was sure that she didn't want to leave Heta Omega if it meant leaving Rose behind. It was fine, she could think of a way. There was no telling anyway at what point Rose would decide to leave the confines of the Common Room. So Eurydice might have quite the long wait ahead of her (hopefully not).

The start of the new year was daunting, and it wasn't just because she wasn't going to be with her brother this year, though that was definitely part of it. She wondered constantly what Rory was doing and she knew she was going to have to figure out what she wanted to do without him here. She did hope that spending some time with Professor Zumwalt was going to help since she would have a lot free time now, well, maybe not a lot, but definitely enough and that was the main thing, right? She headed out of the common room and was going to look for Nox or Susie when she realised that someone was standing outside the common room. "Oh, Eurydice," she didn' know what the other girl wanted, but she supposed she should find out, so that she could help her, or get her to leave, or whatever other combination of things were happening that she could work out for her. She must have been waiting for William again she assumed, since that was who she had been looking for earlier. "He's not in the common room, so he might have already left earlier," she said, hoping to head her off at the pass.

Eurydice was sort of hoping that Elio-nii would walk out of the Common Room. Or Theo-nii. Or for Kael-nii to even arrive - she heard that her brother would frequently wait for Elio-nii here, how he would manage to climb up so many steps every day was beyond her just to go downstairs with Elio-nii was beyond her. Still, it wouldn't really be of any use to wait for either Gryffindor boy since they weren't allowed in the girls' dormitories anyway. Still, she wouldn't have minded some company while she waited. She was out of luck, though, as a voice called to her, and she saw Tori had just come out of the Common Room. She frowned a little as the girl let her know that "he" had already left because "he" wasn't in the Common Room. There weren't a great many people that she would be looking for in Gryffindor, and not many that the other girl would be acquainted with. "I'm looking for Rose actually," she corrected the girl. Besides, after her encounter with Tori and her group earlier in the week when she was looking for William, she wasn't keen to ask her Gryffindor classmates about the boy's whereabouts from then on.

Tori blinked for a second, not quote sure who the girl was referring to. "Sorry, who's Rose?" Maybe she could go in and check for her, or ask someone if they knew where she was. Tori wasn't very familiar with the younger students or even the older ones, so it would be good to sort of have more of an idea who she might mean, and there was probably a few Rose's in the house anyway, she didn't know which one she was referring to. She was never sure who Eury was related to, but then with so many people in the school currently related to so many others, she wasn't all that surprised that she didn't know who she might have been talking about, not to mention everything currently on her mind and she really wasn't sure she wanted to gt into anything with Eury right now so finding who she wanted quickly seemed like the way to go. "I'll go try and find her." She offered.

Eurydice knew her cousins well. Things were weird ever since they'd all started Hogwarts, but she knew her cousins. Elijah liked the quiet and liked to learn. Jonah was always drawn to his siblings like they were his lifeline. And Rose had a quiet strength that only few appreciated. And while only a few could appreciate Rose as she deserved to be, people forgetting her cousin existed wasn't something Eurydice could quite tolerate. Especially since Rose was roommates with Tori. She was quite sure there wasn't anyone else named Rose in Gryffindor - she would have heard - or at least Rose would have. And so she was entirely unimpressed with the girl in front of her, her gaze narrowing. "Your roommate," she said coldly. Hopefully the girl would get the idea.
