Ben Mushkin was having a good term, although she found most of the classes pretty daunting and didn't particularly enjoy having them, she liked spending time primarily with Sam, and did do so for most of her time. Ben had wandered out of the castle and away from Sam on that day in an attempt to find something to do, after having to spend time with many others in the dorm room, the girl had felt a little overwhelmed and had subsequently left the room, heading out to the open air where the rain was hammering down heavily, she knew that her own fears with others were unfounded and that she was fine, but Ben couldn't help it, her own confidence was pretty shot from an unexplainable reason. She being one of many with a best friend had just come to rely quite heavily on her one friend, rather than expanding and trying to with more, this school was one of the few instances where Ben was ever without the easy ability to just sit with her friend, and even at that, she could quite easily.

Ben brushed the rain from her eyes as she put on the hood of the jumper and made her way out to the great lawn, the rain still hammering down around her, the grey overcast sky giving a somber look to the place. She walked slowly past a flower and reach down, plucking it from the ground and after wiping the dirty from it, placed it in behind her ear. She kept walking, feeling and hearing the squelch of the rain beneath her feet, smiling to herself joyfully as she walked along. Hogwarts was not a bad place indeed, and on this rainy sunday, despite her earlier leave from the dorm she was feeling pretty good about the day. She found a spot underneath a large tree and just stood marvelling at the grounds in front of her, it would likely be good if she was to make a couple more friends, ones other than Sam.

Phoebe, having lived in the Vatican all her life, had grown so used to being up early on Sundays, that even with Sundays off she found herself awake in the wee hours of the morning. From her room she heard the pounding of a rain storm outside and smiled. There was something so peaceful about the sound of rain, masking that of birds whom had long ago hidden away in their homes. The petite blonde made her way from her bed with the help of her cane to choose an outfit. She was now getting better at using magic to aid her in her daily life as she continued to use charms to help her around her dorm. "Accio blue jeans." She called, and a pair from her floor flew into her hands. She'd not really worn them more than once or twice and slipped them onto her form with ease, along with the read sweater that she called for. "Hmm... Accio raincoat." She called out, and the material came flying into her unsuspecting face. She made a slight groaning noise, but slipped it on anyways. She felt that with that to protect her body, she'd not need an umbrella. With that the Gryffindor made her long journey down the stairs.

Upon arriving outside, she quickly slipped off her shoes and held them in the hand that did not grip her point-me cane. Her nose was assaulted with the petrichor that permeated from the dry soil dampening. it was a smell that phoebe had grown familiar of in her home town before leaving, and one she'd missed quite an amount. The blonde tapped the wet ground with the cane, splashing puddles around her as she did so. Her eyes were closed, as there was no point in keeping them open and getting them hit with rain drops. In front of her a ways she could hear steps that were a bit faster than her own, and she wondered who else would be outside in the rain like she was. In her thick Italian accent she called out. "Hello?" To the figure that she could hear move about in front of her. "Ejoying the rain?" She inquired, hoping this person was friendly.
