Time had stilled around her, she wasn't sure how much time had passed, but when she'd gotten her mail that morning at breakfast the news it contained within it was not something that she had ever thought possible to happen, she knew the last few years had been hard on him, difficult and strenuous but this hadn't actually happened. It bugged her more that she was in school, and couldn't do anything about it, with her exams so soon, her mother had promised they'd do something when she returned but Lydia just wanted to leave. It just, it wasn't supposed to happen like it had, it wasn't. The teen just stared forward, she'd risen early for breakfast so she could spend the whole day studying with Stefan in the library, using the quiet little staff area which he let her use to be able to better at least until she was supposed to meet with Felix to spend a section of the afternoon with him, but she had left the Owlery and just sat down and now she had no idea how much time had past nor could her mind focus on anything.
The young hufflepuff ran a hand through her hair and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, just trying her best to figure it out, figure out the lie her mother was obviously telling her. She didn't want to listen to it and she had stuffed the paper in her pocket and was ignoring it. Lydia was pretty upset, it was clearly written on her face, she had always been extremely expressive and she had no idea how to hide the emotions on her face. What she had realised was that everything had changed, though she had feelings for Felix they were as up in the air as everything else in her life. But nothing was pushing her on to go talk to him, or to talk to anyone, she was sure that her cousin wouldn't be in work, and her brother, she needed to talk to him when she got back, but for now, she was happy to not. Dealing with her brother after this would not be fun. The teen just let out a deep sigh and just kept sitting in her seat staring out of the window, letting the day pass her by.
