Blake strolled onto the lawn with his broomstick and beater's bat in either hands. The morning smelt of wet grass, and the sun was rising higher in the sky as it welcomed the pitch with light. Smiling inwardly, he set off across the lawn and opened the storage broom cupboard and once again, lugged out the trunk that carried the Quidditch equipment.

Jaken got dressed in his quidditch gear, and left the scarf on his bed. He got under his bed and retrieved his Ruby Streak. He strolled onto the lawn, and arriving at the pitch. He regretting not bringing anything to block the sun from his sensitive eyes this morning. He noticed that he was the first to be out on the pitch, other than the younger captian. He gave him a grin and waited for practice to begin.

Zoe walked down to the quidditch pitch, feeling cold. She never felt warm in the morning, and flying probably wouldn't help her much either. She had her equipment on, and her firebolt in her left hand, wand in her right. She noticed that she was one of the first there, with Blake and Jaken being the others.

"Top of the mornin' to ya!" She exclaimed with a wink to her two team members. Zoe almost always woke up in a good mood, feeling refreshed, knowing that she had a full day ahead of her, and ready to face it head on.

Mounting her broom, she stayed close to the ground, as she flew once around the pitch, to warm up, and came back to the boys.

Isabella made her way down the pitch with her broomstick in hand and her wand tucked up her sweater sleeve. She made sure to wear jeans because she was flying, and a sweater since it was getting colder each day.
She was excited to finally be practicing but was extremely nervous because she was the youngest of the group. When she reached the small group of older students she said, "Good morning," and smiled at them.

Andrew walked to the Qudditch Pitch very happy to have it back.He saw that the captain had already come and some othet elder kids."Hello"she greeted them all."Hey Isabella, how are you doing?"he asked her smiling weakily after his accident at the lake.

"Morning," Blake greeted those who had arrived. "Well, I suppose Makato and Kale are running a little late this morning, but anyhow, we'll start with some warm ups. Laps first, twice around the pitch. Zoe, since you already did one you can go ahead and do just another. Then we'll start with working on our offense first, partnering up and such. Then we'll continue on to drills for our Keeper and Seeker.
"Up!" he called, his broom leaping into his open hand. "Let's get going now!" With that he climbed onto his Streak and kicked off into the air, turning his head to watch his team follow suit.

Andrew listened to Blake's plan. He put his right leg over his broom and kicked off hard from the ground on his Emerald Streak. It was a fine spring day and the air was cool and windy. The air blew on his face as he gained speed and more control over his broom.

He took the first round around the Qudditch Pitch at normal speed taking the corners sharply with a slight tilt of his broom to the left/right.He was realy excited about the seeker practice he was going to do today as Blake had said.

"Hey Andrew, I'm good. I'm glad to see you're better too," she said smiling at him, remembering the incident at the lake.

Then Blake said they should do two warm-up laps around the Pitch so Isabella mounted her broom, it already being in her hand, and kicked off hard. Once in the air, her hair flew all over the place so she hovered for a while as she pulled her hair into a tight ponytail. Once she was ready she leaned forward on her broom and took off, doing one fast lap, and a slow one immediately afterward, just so she could practice controlling her broom at any speed.

Jaken watched some of the other teammates arrive. Two were obviously late, but he did not recognize their names. He pulled his long hair back and tied it so it wouldn't get in his face. He mounted his broom, and jumped into the air. He did his laps fairly quickly, learning to control his new broom steadily. He couldn't wait much longer until he gets to practice his role of the team.

Makato ran to the pitch as fast he could he was late for practice. He had over slept do to the fact that the last couple of nights he had been up to all hours of the night trying to make up his missing class assignments. As he reached the pitch he saw the team already practicing. Cursing under his breath he mounted his broom and kicked off the ground and flew up to blake.

"Sorry I am late, late nights what did I miss?"Makato said a little breathless.

Blake watched his teammates mount their brooms and take flight. Just as he was about to take off after them, Makato flew up to his side and seemingly, panted his sorry. "All's well as long as you made it. No worries, homework is a real pain." Chuckling he went on to explain what he'd just told the others. "Okay, well everyone's just doing two laps 'round the pitch. After that we're going to work on our Chasers, that's you Zoe and Isabella. And then we'll work on team drills for our Keeper, that's Jaken, and our Seeker, Andrew. We'll worry about the Beaters when Kale arrives though.
"Anyway, everyone's about on their second lap, if not finished by now, so you should get a move on. As should I." With that, Blake pulled on the handle of his Streak and started his laps once he was sure Makato understood his rambling.

Zoe was already on her broom, so she made another quick lap, but going up high by the stands this time, and making little waves, just to warm herself up. She then went back to where they all originally had been, and she was the first one there, since she had already completed a lap around.

Zoe then waited for some more instructions from Blake, and attempted to do a loop, nearly falling off her broom in the process. Landing herself back on the ground, she waited for the rest of the team to finish.

Jaken quickly finished the laps, one fast, and the other a bit slower. He was a little sore from the last time he flew, considering that he had crashed and scraped his back up worse than he thought. He swerved and hovered close to the ground, and cautiously got off his broom. His feet planted on the ground. He heard the instructions and figured it would be better to observe the Chasers from the ground anyhow, not wanting to get in the way.

Isabella flew to the middle of the pitch, overhearing that the Chasers would be first to be trained. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach out of nervousness but mostly excitement to be playing. She hovered in the air waiting for further instructions from Blake.

When Blake finished his own laps and was satisfied that everyone else had too, he flew down to where the Quidditch chest was and removed the quaffle. When he returned to flight and hovered around the south end post, he called everyone to gather with him, tossing the quaffle at the first chaser to appear. "We will work on game plays when we have first worked on our offense. So chasers," he said looking at Makato, Isabella and Zoe in turn before he continued, "your main objective is to get the quaffle from this end of the pitch, to the other. However it won't be easy. Jaken, Andrew and I will be the opposition. You cannot hog the quaffle, and it must leave your hands within the minute you caught it. Each time one of the chasers passes the quaffle and successfully gets it to another chaser, then they will have earned themselves a point. Each time one of the us opponents gets the quaffle however, will deduct a point from you chasers. If by the end of practise, the chasers find that they have less than two points, they will have earned the whole team five laps, and twenty push ups." Blake gave a grin before asking, " Are we understood?"

[OOC: Basically how this will work fast and efficiently is the chasers will each have to make six posts in a row [in whatever order], so that the six sections it takes to cross over from the South SA to the North will be covered. That means that whether it is only two chasers involved or all three, your sole objective is to make six posts in a row.
However, if one of the opposition intervenes this, posting between two chasers, then the six in a row shall begin again, and the point system will be updated, etc.

Example:

Post 1:
Isabella flew with the quaffle in one hand. She threw the quaffle in the direction of the nearest chaser open.

Post 2:
Makato caught the quaffle and sent Isabella a grin before speeding forward again. When he felt the opposition was flanking him, he passed the quaffle to the nearest chaser.

If you manage to get to six posts, the sixth chaser should RP getting the quaffle through the hoop. But remember that as soon as either Andrew, Jaken or Blake [meh :p ] catch the quaffle instead of a fellow chaser, you will have to get another six posts. Blake shall decide when it has been long enough. ^_^

If you don't understand then please PM me. I'll worry about the points also.]

Andrew completed his laps and touched down on the ground. He listened carefully to Blake's explanation about the game nad than nodded saying that he had understood.

Isabella flew over to where Blake was headed and let her feet touch the ground. She lwaited patiently for him to explain the rules and he quickly threw the Quaffle in their general direction. Since Isabella was closest she reached for it, barely grasping it by the tips of her fingers. She tucked it under her arm and after listening to the rules, she understood. Not wanting to get the Quaffle taken away so soon, she kicked off on her broom with the Quaffle in hand and flew up in the air, waiting for the rest of the chasers to pass it to.

Zoe noticed that Isabella was the first to the quaffle, and that she flew away. Zoe zoomed quickly by her, and called out to her, though the wind was hurthing her throat, and draining her voice. "Isabella, drop it below!" She called out, and lowered herself under her teammate, to catch the ball from underneath her.

Isabella looked down below at the sound of Zoe's shout and Isabella nodded at her to show that she'd heard her. After Zoe had positioned herself carefully under Bella, she positioned the ball over Zoe's arms and let it go. She saw the ball whizzing downward into what she hoped would land in Zoe's arms.

Zoe looked up, being right underneath Isabella, and when it was dropped, she cheered as she caught it in her arms. She buried it under her left arm, and brought her body closer to the broom to make herself more aerodynamic. She began to look around for Makato, wondering what he was up to.

Blake was surprised and yet intrigued that the team chasers were already on the move. Gearing up his broom, he darted off after them and was soon on Zoe's tail, waiting for her to pass the quaffle for him to steal.

Andrew mounted his streak and flew besides Isabella to help Blake if Zoe was to sharp he could take it from Isabella instead and pass it to Blake.

Jaken felt rather slow, seeing everyone else on the move. He quickly mounted his broom and was in the air within a few seconds. He decided to stay a bit behind Blake, watching the action from behind. He didn't really know much about stealing and passing the quaffle, but he figured that his best should be enough.
