Quidditch Game: Ilvermorny vs Beauxbatons

Noah swooped in to catch the quaffle and turned around to head back towards the other side of the pitch.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik hit a bludger but it missed.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava was starting to get a little annoyed but she wasn’t sure if it was with herself or with the bludgers.

 

[Nabi Mun]

Nabi was starting to get anxious, she should have caught the snitch by now.

 

[Noah Webb]

Noah neared the Beauxbatons hoops and swerved at the last second to throw the quaffle through the left one.

 

[Felicity Sweetwater]

"Woo, go captain!" Felicity called as Noah scored, her cheering interrupted as a bludger shot past her and she turned in pursuit. The French keeper seeker was close and it didn't take much angling before Felicity could land a clean shot on her, grinning at her own success. @Xenia Nikolaidou

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik groaned as yet another bludger missed.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava groaned when Xenia got hit. At this rate their chances of winning were getting smaller every minute.

 

[Nabi Mun]

Nabi was glad Felicity was on her side, she would've been long gone if she hadn't been. She kept on looking for the snitch.

 

[Alicia Richelieu]

Alicia was hurting a bit from the bludger that hit, but she tried her best to stay focused. She grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik was still unable to hit anyone despite his best efforts.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava chased a bludger.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

This sucked, thought Xenia, as she was almost immediately hit by a bludger.

Dion was once again remimded not to get on Flick's bad side.

Ava swung her bat at another bludger and send it flying towards the Ilvermorny keeper by accident. Today was going utterly terrible and she was starting to wish she could disappear. @Pearl Parra.

For the third time this game, Alicia failed to score. She was flushed bright red in embarrassment.

 

[Nabi Mun]

Nabi bit her lip as she looked around, still no sign of the snitch.

 

[Zoey Hawkins]

Zoey couldn't believe she had gotten the quaffle stolen from her. The second bludger hit added insult to injury. But she raced forward to grab the quaffle again to make up for her mistake.

 

[Bellamy Parish]

Despite the chilly day Bellamy's palms started to sweat as Vincent got knocked out and was quickly followed by their alternate. He had felt so confident he'd spend the day on the bench but now he was being tagged in to take Xenia's place. He took to the air and got ready as the chasers started for him.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia was starting to have an existential crisis.

Dion tried to aim at the Beauxbatons captain, but the bludger went past her to @Asclepius Kuya-Jenkins instead.

Nabi still didn't see the snitch anywhere, she was starting to feel frustrated.

Malik was starting to really get annoyed now. He just wanted this match to end.

Nabi still saw no sign of the snitch.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia saw a glint of gold and wasted no time speeding off after it, practically screaming as her hand grasped around it. She'd have to go bring chocolates and flowers to Vincent and Nina and tell them it was worth it after all - she was a wreck, battered, bruised, but not beaten. Xenia held up the snitch in triumph, shocked and relieved.
