Quidditch Game: Ilvermorny vs Beauxbatons

Xenia was clearly getting slow and she groaned in frustration.

Hadrian grinned at Zoey as she scored and followed after the Beauxbatons chaser.

 

[Gwydion Amos]

Dion waved off the bludger hit - it hurt, but was probably justified as revenge, though it didn't exactly help his aim as he tried to hit the Beauxbatons chaser again.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent wondered where that little snitch is at.

 

[Claire Blanchet]

Once Claire was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the right hoop, but it had completely missed. Claire huffed in annoyance for missing.

Vincent kept his eye out as he flew.

 

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian took up the quaffle when it was thrown back out and headed back to the other hoops.

Xenia kept an eye out, groaning as Claire missed and getting ready to defend again.

Dion wasn't having much luck with bludgers.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent pressed on, even though his shoulder and arm were really sore from the previous hits.

 

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian took a shot on goal when he got close but he wasn't able to get it past the keeper.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia was relieved to stop the next attempt and threw the quaffle back out to her team.

 

[Gwydion Amos]

Despite Dion's aching arm, he saw the perfect shot and managed to hit @Vincent Poe with a bludger. He looked over at Flick and gave her a thumbs-up.

[Zoey Hawkins]

Zoey was following the french chaser when she felt a bludger crash into her. She groaned but stayed focused on flying. And her mood didn't improve when Hadrian missed his shot.

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

Reeve was keeping close watch on the game and distracting him from the cold. He reached for his whistle, blowing on it as the player took his third bludger hit. "Time!" he declared. He flew to the ground, making sure a nurse took over before turning his attention to see the substitution that would be made.

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia groaned, swearing under her breath as Vincent got hit again. She respected the need to substitute, because she really didn't want him to get seriously hurt, but they were already on the back foot and this wasn't helping. Checking he was okay and heading off to be looked over by a nurse, she went over to the ref. "We'll bring in Niniane Archambeau."

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

Reeve nodded, ready to get moving again. He kicked off, and when he was high enough in the air declared "Game on!"

Beauxbatons has the full time to make a move or the quaffle is fair game

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Maybe Nina had some kind of latent psychic power she wasn't aware of because she did end up on the field, after all. But she quickly took to the sky, waving at the other team's seeker who seemed really nice before the whistle was blown and she set about looking for the snitch.

 

[Felicity Sweetwater]

Felicity pumped her fist when Dion landed another hit on the French seeker, pulling up to give him a high five as the ref called a time out and deemed that Beauxbaton's would need to sub in a new player to continue. She felt a little bad targeting their new seeker, but she looked maybe the same age as Nabi was so fair was fair as Felicity adjusted her bat to get back into the game.

Xenia kept an eye on play, anxiously watching the chasers.

 

[Gwydion Amos]

Dion almost felt bad about trying to hit bludgers at a small girl - the same way he kind of felt bad whenever he targeted Nabi in training - but less bad when they didn't connect.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina kept looking for the snitch, ducking out of the way of bludgers. Her hands shook a little in excitement.

 

[Felicity Sweetwater]

The downside of the new French seeker being younger was she was smaller and a lot harder to hit. Flick stayed on her tail though, weaving between players and looking for an opening.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava grimaced when their seeker was knocked out of the game, an expression she didn’t lose when the next bludger she hit went straight for the Ilvermorny beater again. Something was definitely up with her aim today. @Gwydion Amos.

 

[Noah Webb]

Noah was quite pleased when the Beauxbatons seeker was knocked out of the game, focussing his attention back on their chasers now that Hadrian had missed his shot.
