Quidditch Game: Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw

Maggie caught up with another bludger, whacking it, but watched as it sailed into the open air, hitting nothing.

Juniper made her way towards the hoops, pretending it was just like practice... Only it wasn't and she was so nervous. Throwing the Quaffle at the hoops it wasn't a surprise that she missed.

"You got it Juniper!" The Hufflepuff may not have scored, but Leena still had faith between them that they'd score. The first year flew past the Chaser, watching to see which Ravenclaw would take possession.

Sofi saw Lilith might be on to something. She started to follow in case it was the snitch.

Lilith saw the glint closer and closer, she accelerated towards it when she saw Sofi following. She was so close... This was it. If she could only go a little faster, a little further. Pushing forward Lili reached out her arm and reached for the Snitch, only a little more. THERE. Closing her fist the fifth year held the ball in her hand and stopped in place. Opening her fist she glanced it, just to make sure before throwing her arm up to show everyone she'd gotten it. Smiling she felt so proud.

A combination of being too far behind and not quick enough meant it was impossible for Sofi to catch up. Her heart sank when she saw the Ravenclaw catch the snitch. She immediately felt like a complete failure and that she had let her entire team down.

Lucy's heart was hammering in her chest as she kicked off and began circling for a bludger, the weight of the match heavy on her shoulders. She hadn't even gotten her first hit in though when she saw Lilith accelerate, a shriek of delight bubbling up in her as she watched the younger girl close her fist around the snitch. She pulled her broom around quickly, near-tackling the Seeker in a midair hug. "YOU DID IT!"

Violet watched as the young Hufflepuff chaser passed the quaffle. As they tried to score, Violet smirked as they missed. But before the teen could throw the quaffle back out, Lilith had caught the snitch. "Nice work!" Violet exclaimed. Part of her wished the game had gone on longer, but at least they had won.
