Quidditch Game: Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw

Rule 2A
Jonah stole the quaffle and flew back to the hoops
 
Susie flew down the pitch, adjusting her grip on her bat.
 
Bailey didn’t catch the snitch.
 
Lili kept looking.
 
Jonah missed his shot.
 
Audrey wondered if someone had cursed the bludgers to spite her. She narrowed her eyes at the ref. Maybe he had done something.
 
Lilith kept searching for the snitch but she was starting to wonder whether or not it was ever released. She was hoping that this would be the game she’d finally catch it but it wasn’t looking too good.
 
Bailey still didn’t catch the snitch.
 
Audrey tried not to glare too hard, though, lest he double down on the cursing.
 
Susie only felt a little guilty as she whacked a bludger at Lili, but it missed anyway.
 
Lilith saw a bludger be whacked toward her and as it missed her she turned to look at the beater that was one of her good friends and stuck her tongue out before getting back to her search.
 
Audrey chased after a bludger with a small huff of annoyance.
 
Bailey still had no luck finding the snitch.
 
Lilith wasn't having much luck on her current side of the pitch so she began going to the other side, carefully weaving through the other players and bludgers being smacked around.
 
Audrey groaned as a bludger went wide.
 
Bailey didn’t catch the snitch. Maybe the sun had got in her eyes.
 
Rule 2B

Jonah stole the quaffle again and threw it back towards the hoops, watching it sail through.
 
Lilith was still not having any luck finding the snitch.
 
Audrey thought she could try and hit a bludger at that irritating chaser but had no luck there, either.
 
Bailey still didn't see the snitch. Maybe it was under the stands?
 
Lilith saw a glint in the distance and she sped up towards it. She saw the snitch and felt her heart start picking up with its beats. Speeding forward the Ravenclaw reached out her hand, hoping to close her fist around it in time and as she closed it she felt something there. Struck by surprise she stopped completely, opening her fist and looking at it. SHE'D DONE IT! She'd caught the snitch in a game. "I got it!" Lilith called out with excitement. "I caught the snitch!" It didn't matter in the grand scheme of things but a feeling of pride swelled in her chest as she raised the snitch up. She'd finally caught a snitch during an actual game.
 
Susie threw her bat away. Urgh. She was obviously a curse on the whole team, or something. It was good for Lili, and everything... but Susie was gonna need a few minutes before she could be happy for her friend and actually mean it, for real. She didn't even get to hit anyone. Boring.​
