SLYTHERIN VS HUFFLEPUFF

"Wiiiiitches and wiiizzaaards!" Vladimir declared, his voice booming through the stands, causing several to cringe at the sheer volume of his magically enhanced voice. "Welcome back to the second matches of the season! On field today we have Slytherin against Hufflepuff. After the tiring experiences and losses of their previous matches, both teams will be on edge for today - Whoever loses has a lot to answer to for their house, after all; a double streak loss?" He folded his arms and mock nodded to himself knowledgeably, resulting a roar of laughter from the stands. Today, for some reason - perhaps due to Big M ... - he had a tall, lanky boy, with thickset glasses, sitting beside him, staring intently at him and listening to every word he spoke. What was he, some kind of Watchman? And his name was Ernest.

He squinted at the field. "Today, we have Professor Isolde Glasson taking the place of Big M', currently trying out as a referee for the first time. Let's hope the game won't be too rough on her!" Twisting the mic and clearing his throat, he continued, "We have the Hufflepuff and Slytherin Team Captains coming into the field now, as well as their team members gathering. Slytherin Team Captain Isabella Chaos and Hufflepuff Captain Rhyspa Aireous are now meeting with our new referee and clarifying the rules. As for why Big M' isn't available today, I have reliable sources stating he is out hunting great whoppin' big steaks with a spork."

Amidst gales of merry laughter to lighten up the mood, Ernest wagged a fat finger at him. Erk. "Well - Er- Anyway! The Slytherin Team formation is now taking off into the skies! From their last, brutal performance, we now that they will not be holding back! No sir - Bruke! Chaos! Sedgwick! Ater! Snow! Addison! And LURKEN!" His voice drowned out by the thunderous racket the Slytherins were making, he continued, shouting over the din, "On the Hufflepuff side! Kingsley! Barnett! Havishmen! Prince! Aireous! Bellamy! Aaaand Wriiiiiiiiiiiight!"" Now it was a bit of a screaming match between Hufflepuff and Slytherin trying to support their respective teams. Airily, Vladimir continued, "We have a bit of confusion with the Slytherins; after her performance last time allowing many precious goals to be made and lost, and the Slytherins having a narrow defeat, we would expect Addison to have her position threatened - apparently not! Since Slytherin Captains have decided to let Addison have another go, perhaps she has some tricks up her sleeves this time now? On a side note, what's surprising is that Lee is missing from the field today! Most people believe that due to his less-than-honourable - well downright despicable, really - behaviour last time, he's being suspended from the match!"

A loud murmuring ran over the stands, coupled with a few boos from the emerald-coated areas. "Anyway." Vladimir ranted on, "Hufflepuff Team Beater Ace, Prince, looks ready to crack a few skulls. From his outstanding performance with the last match, despite their loss, I suppose Prince is something to be afraid of! Both sides Chasers' seem up to the job, Hufflepuff and Slytherin both have very good team coordination. This will not be a match to miss, folks! - Of course, you're, uh, already here."

"Go Vladdy!" A voice called out, joined by others. 'Vladdy?'. Huh. Flattered, Vladimir rubbed his temples momentarily, then continued on about the commentary. "The Match fires up immediately! Slytherin Chaser subbing for Lee, Sedgwick, takes possession like a lightning bolt - Look at her go - Dazzling, I say! Havishmen tailing her immediately! Look at her! That soft, silky hair! Look at that firm - Ahem - Sorry Ernest." He gulped as the stern watchman glared at him and pushed his spectacles up. "Er- Everyone else taking off after her! Kingsley flies up - snatches the quaffle - flies to the side - Havishmen discreetly takes it off her team mate - line formation there - Whack! Ater sends a bludger at Havishmen - Double whack! Prince blocks it - Bruke flies in - hand sign? - Grabs the quaffle off a surprised Havishmen! Sedgwick now covering Andrew's position - Ater looks ready, bat in hand, rowr! - Barnett is now tailing Andrew - Bruke flying in fast again - Scores - No, feint - No he is scoring! - Bellamy doesn't see it! - SLYTHERIN SCORE!"

The green stands erupted with cheers while groans came over the Hufflepuffs. "Oh well done Slytherin, whole team celebrating - But wait, we have a game going on! - Havishmen grabs the quaffle as soon as she can - Bruke rockets after her - Havishme nveers away, tries to lose him - Sedgwick flies up, going in to box in Havishmen in a splendid ploy - Eh! Cunning, but splendid - Prince doesn't let up, sends a bludger at Bruke - Bruke narrowly dodges - Don't know what Snow is doing, didn't try to help Bruke - Bruke flies in, nicks the quaffle off Havishmen again - Passes - Chaos gets it - Flies in to the goals - Shoots! - Bellamy saves it! Excellent work girl!"

The next few steps were so fast Vladimir didn't have time to give a full commentary, and merely started yelling out the names of the players who had the quaffle. "Hold on, I can't see a damn thing - Uh - Havishmen in possession! - Passes - Barnett! - Beaters and players flying aaaaaall around! - Looks like Bruke's trying to pull those stunts Lee is becoming hated for - Hits a bludger at Bellamy with his broom, tricky maneuver there! - Quaffle stolen by Chaos, glam girl and all-round witch! - Chaos in possession! - Wright uses her body as a shield - blocks the Bludger - Ow - Chaos flies in - Scores - Bellamy dives - Doesn't get it - Bugger -SLYTHERIN SCORE!"

Once more the jeers from the Slytherins erupted all around, and became nearly unbearable! "Come on Hufflepuff, get your game on!" Vladimir demanded, "Barnett takes posession - Bruke flies in - twists - brakes - Steals the quaffle off Barnett! - Prince doesn't look happy - hits a bludger at the guy - Bruke flies in to score - then gets hit by a bludger. Ooh. Good work Princey! Sedgwick floats along - Whoops - Pweet! Whistle blow!"

The entire game seemed to stop as Isolde hurried to clear up the misunderstanding. "Yes, well, now that it's over with - It seems there was some sort of foul based on scoring ... Slytherin still leading the match, 20 to 0! Come on Hufflepuff!" Vladimir urged.
