Lexi was heading down at the Quidditch Pitch, not for flying but for arranging a try outs for the Quidditch Cheering Squad. It was approved by the Headmistress and she was too excited, she didn't have enough sleep in excitement. Lexi was always on her get up red tee shirt, short Hawaiian printed shorts and red sneakers. She already took care of the posters in every hallway and Alyssa was going to help her with the uniforms after the try-outs.

It seems that she's to early for the try-outs, she was the fist one on the field. Lexi shrugged her shoulder and sat at the middle of the pitch in the ground, tapping her pencil on the clip board she has while waiting.

[[Ok, i want you to all be in your perfect outfits that will make your IC's comfortable to dance. Then take a pick for your song, it must have a beat on it. And lastly, enjoy Rping.]]

Becky had heard about the cheerleading tryouts, and of course she had to try out. After all she was Becky for goodness sake! Her blonde hair had been curled and tied into cute pigtails, and she was wearing a custom made cheerleading outfit in the Hufflepuff colors, that her father had ordered. now that she was living with the Bells' she got everything she wanted from her dad.

Becky skipped onto the Quidditch Pitch, and smiled at Lexi. "Hey, I'm Becky, and I'm trying out for the Hufflepuff Cheering Squad!" she said. Becky begun her routine with asong and dance. Then she did a few flips and leaps, then finished off with a chant.

"We heard it through the grapevine,
That your team was mighty tough.
But when you're up against the Badgers,
Tough is not enough!"

Alyssa walked down to the Quidditch pitch wearing comfortable sports Clothes. Alyssa knew that she needed comfortable clothes to be able to preform and try her best.

"Hey Lexi." Alyssa waved as she walked over to her. "I guess I'll be trying out for the Slytherin Cheerleading Team." Alyssa smiled and placed her bag onto the ground. Alyssa wasn't very nervous, she knew what she was doing and she worked hard to learn the skill she was going to preform. As she walked onto the pitch to do her preformance Alyssa wondered if Nia was still planning on trying out with her. Alyssa hoped that she did, otherwise she would be utterly alone.

When the Song Was dancing to started she immediantly counted herself in before she began to move to the beat. While Alyssa was dancing she made sure to keep her fists straight, smile on her face, and keep her movements sharp the whole time.

'Five, six, seven, eight!' Alyssa counted in her head like a drum that was keeping the beat for a band. Once she finished had last count of eight she struck a pose and smiled. Now that her dancing portion was over she could present her tumbling and cheer.

"I'm only doing one Tumbling Pass; But it should be good enough." Alyssa stated as she readied herself. Alyssa then ran into a full-fledged run for about 15ft before she threw her body foward and Preformed and beautiful Full Twisting Layout. When she landed and placed her arms up in the air to make the trick look cleaner she smiled at the other girls. Turning back to face the crowd she was going to finish off with a small cheer and one last trick.

"Yeah, Yeah,
Do We Rock?
Yeah, Yeah,
Take it to the Top?
Yeah, Yeah
Are we gonna stop?
No way!"

Alyssa shouted and clapped loudly, a big smile on her face the whole time. Then she did a Double Toe Touch Back handspring as her final move. When she had finished this trick she smiled and bowed before sitting down and waiting eagerly to see the other girls routines.

Leia was super nervous but mostly excited to try out for the Quidditch cheerleading tryouts. Since she was originally from New York, all there was to do for kids was to attend lessons for anything so she had been doing ballet and gymnastics all her life and now she hoped that the lessons would pay off here at tryouts. She liked playing Quidditch but she remembered a conversation she and Kaleb had when they first met and how neither of them were trying out for the team in their first year. Leia liked playing the sport, but she didn't think she was nearly good enough for the team. This seemed like the perfect way to still be somewhat involved with the sport and stay fit! Wearing her Hufflepuff cheerleading outfit, and her hair in braids, Leia walked down to the pitch happily humming a song as she went over her cheer in her head.

When she got there she saw two girls she recognized from the Fashion club and waved to them nervously. When it was Leia's turn she walked up to the front of the girl who seemed to be judging and introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Leia Evans and I'll be trying out for the Hufflepuff cheerleading squad," she said loud and clear in her musical voice. She nodded her head so that the first song could begin and she counted the beats in her head before beginning to dance. The song was a song she could dance with cheerleading moves and she had also incorporated some ballet in there too. She made sure to smile throughout the whole thing and once she was done with that song she smiled and said, "I'll be doing one more song," and the next song began playing, which was more of an actual dancing song. She chose this song to perform her gymnastics routine on and she ended the song with a standing back tuck which she wasn't sure she could nail. She stumbled on it, since she had only just learned it before she left New York and moved to Australia but she managed to not fall and when she straightened up she flashed her signature bright smile.

Last was the cheer that they had to do, which was the easiest part for Leia compared to the dances. She stood still with her hands curled perfectly into fists at her hips and made sure to keep the smile on her face. She decided to go with a little Hufflepuff spirit so she chanted out:

"Yellow, black and a little white,
We're the Badgers,
And we'll fight, fight, fight!"

Leia clapped her hands together and pumped her fists in the air towards the end and did a simple toe-touch to finish and when she was done she smiled and thanked the girl for her time as she eagerly sat down on the grass to watch the rest of the tryouts.

Kiera walked out to the pitch in muggle clothing. She knew that the Quidditch cheering tryouts were today and what a pretty day for such tryouts.. Kiera was not trying out, she was just interested in what the other students could do. She had taken gymnastics in the muggle world since she was three. Until Hogwarts, she had never even been to school with other students. She had tutors.

Kiera was ranked competively in the United States as well as the world. If any students followed the sport, they would have recognized her. She still competed on breaks and tried to try here and there. Her dad had replied to her owl just that morning letting her know her current standing. Since she had hurt her knee at the end of the summer, her ranking had dropped. She was now 6th in the USA and 9th in the world. Kiera had been highly disappointed at that news.

Kiera quietly slipped into the stands. She didnt know any of the younger students in the pitch except for the on that seemed to be running the tryouts. Kiera had met that girl when she was just a first year. Lexi was her name if Kiera remembered correctly. Kiera smiled as one girl did a full. It was fairly decent, landing almost as perfect as Kiera would have. The next girl did a tuck but landed a little sloppy. Kiera again considered offering to help. She could fix it so the girl would land beautifully every time. Kiera remained quiet. Maybe she would talk to the Lexi girl personally after tryouts.

Wendy absolutely hated flying, since she was afraid of heights and all, so she always passed up on Quidditch try-outs, and only managed to pass her flying class last year. So when she first saw 'Quidditch' on the bulletin board in the Gryffindor common room, the blonde didn't bother glancing at it again. A few days later she had overheard a bit of conversation between a few girls on a new cheerleading squad for Quidditch. Interested to see if this was true, Wendy went over to the bulletin board and re-read each flyer carefully. When she saw that they really were having tryouts she grew interested and began working on a simple routine.

Truthfully Wendy wasn't that much of a 'girly-girl' and preferred to play muggle sports (where you were safely on the ground and not 50 feet high in the air) since she grew up in the Muggle world, however recently she was beginning to wear more skirts and dresses and becoming a bit more feminine. Wendy still didn't wear make up or high heels or even did her hair, no she still preferred for her long, blonde hair to be messy and wild, but she figured that joining a cheerleading squad would help her for many reasons. First it would make her become more feminine in the sense of how she looked, not acted, since she was just her regular bubbly self; secondly it would keep her fit, and third, it would help her make friends other than her best friend Joceline.

On the day of tryouts, Wendy exited the Gryffindor common room in a white spaghetti strapped shirt and shorts, making sure her black Converse were tied tightly and her blonde hair was all high up in a secure, but messy bun at the top. She was quite nervous to tryout in front of everyone but when she got there she saw that there weren't that many people there. Besides, she was a Gryffindor - brave and prideful - the two perfect ingredients for a cheerleader right? Wendy hoped so. When it came to her turn she smiled lightly and said, "Hi, I'm Wendy Chaos, I'm in Gryffindor," she added to clarify what 'team' she would be cheering for if she made the squad. Her nervousness quickly faded away and she inhaled deeply as she began counting off, "5,6,7,8!" The song began to play and she began moving her body to the beat, throwing her hands up in fists rhythmically as she had practiced within the privacy of her dorm for the past few days. Once the song was over, Wendy did a simple front flip and smiled brightly, her blue eyes shining with excitement. She wasn't a tumbler, but she hoped that wouldn't hurt her chances of joining the squad, and she could still learn to tumble anyway right?

After her song was done, Wendy quickly brushed her bangs out of her face and stood there with her hands clasped together as she was about to begin her cheers and chants. She gave a nod as if to signal that she was going to start and flashed a bright smile as she chanted:

"G-O x O-D x L-U x C-K x
G-O x O-D x L-U x C-K x (faster)
Good luck, Lions, good luck!"
[X's indicate claps]

At the end Wendy pumped both hands into the air, doing 'spirit fingers' as she jumped up with excitement. She decided to do just one more cheer and yelled out:

"Watch out, step back,
The lions are on the attack
We're strong, powerful, dominating and bold
Let's all remember only champions wear gold!

Go, go Gryffindor! Go, go Gryffindor!"

Wendy stomped and clapped in all the appropriate places and remembered to keep the smile on her face as she added the Gryffindor part at the end, feeling prideful of her House. After she was done her nervousness suddenly came back to her but she smiled and shrugged it off, going to sit by the rest of the girls to see the rest of the tryouts. She wondered when they'd be informed on if they made it or not.

Madison had almost wanted to try out for the quidditch team itself yet when she heard about try outs for the Qudditch cheer dancers her mind was changed right away. She would not be able to resist actually trying out for a dance team. Sure Madison wasn't the best cheerleader but she could dance with ease. All those years of her, Skye, and Bailey taking dance lessons hopefully would pay off.

For the week before the try outs, Madison had come up with a dance routine and practiced it daily. Luckily this Hufflepuff knew how to balance her timetable so that she was able to go to classes, do the work, and dance. It was a determination that this normally not competative Addison triplet was going to try her best at and succeed if that was possible.

Walking out to the pitch, Madison wore simple well fitted sweatpants and a purple short sleeved short that was tied at the side with a hair band. Sure it wasn't the most fashionable outfit in the world but it was comfortable and it didn't look half bad either. Her white sneakers were tied securely on her feet knowing that if they were not she would surely twist an ankle and that wasn't an option for this Hufflepuff.

As Madison made her way on the pitch she saw a rather nice group of people already. Competation she thought happily as she pulled her hair up into a pony tail and watched the few girls go. Most of them were really good and knew how to cheer. Would Madison's dance skills be good enough to make it through the try outs? This eleven year old hoped so.

When it was finally her turn, Madison smiled at the group. "I'm trying out for the Hufflepuff team" She said hoping that there were different teams for each house. If not there was going to be a rather big single team that may get messy, yet more group tricks would be able to be done.

Turning her music. This song was a rather slower song than most people would consider dance music, but Madison thought it would be perfect for her hip hop moves. "And a one two one two three" She began as she started with her dance moves.

Four minutes later, the dance was over and a huge smile was one Madison's face. Make up a cheer The thought came to her mind as she stood up straight legs together.

"L-e-t-s-g-o Let's Go Let's Go L-e-t-s-g-o Let's Go Let's Go
Hufflepuff's Flying Up A Storm
We've Got So Much Game
Watch us fly
Watch us put the other team to shame
Hufflepuff's Got Game
Mixing It Up
Never Playing the Same
Winning the House Cup!"

Madison did in a chanting cheer form though she wondered if it was any good. Probably not the best but hey she came up with it last minute. My dance turned out good though. No screw ups She thought deciding that the practice that she had put in did her well. Maybe that would push her over the edge, onto the team.

Barbara made her way down to the Quidditch Pitch, a wide smile on her face as she sang to herself happily.
As usual, she was wearing a football strip, an Australian one, and she had a white baseball cap shoved on over her messy but cute curls. As she stepped out into the sunshine, her good mood brightened, and she began to run to the Pitch. She wasn't there to fly, all week she had been seeing posters up around the school for the Quidditch Cheering Squad, and as she was no good on a broom, she had decided to give that a go. She was too good on her feet on the ground to be any good in the air, and although football was her thing, she had always been rather good in Gymnastics too, and figured Cheerleading was basically some dancing, some jumps and some gymnastics all in one. She was actually looking forward to it!
Arriving on the pitch she stared around herself and smiled at all the other girls gathered there. A slightly older girl who seemed to be the club leader soon told them all what they were to do, and as one by one girls began to try-out, Barbara took the CD with the song she was planning to dance to from her pocket and thought up the perfect routine and cheer.
Her time came soon and she bounced in to the center of the Pitch and grinned at the girls. "Hey, I'm Barbara Grant and I'm trying out for the Gryffindor cheer squad" she announced, turning her music on, she had chosen an old, easy to dance to, muggle song. Applebottom Jeans. Taking a deep breath, she grinned as her music started and she began to dance. Her style was slightly hip hop and her moves held a strong, funky edge as she gave the best performance she could, putting all her energy and passion into it. The song came to an end and She stood still for a moment, catching her breath and realising her cap had falled of somewhere during her performance. She left it, though and began her routine. Starting off with a back flip, she burst into song..

"You might be good at basketball
You might be good at track
But when it comes to Quidditch
You might as well step back
Might as well step back
Say what?
You might as well step back
Can't hear you
Might as well step back
Go Gryffindor go, Go Gryffindor, Go Go!"

" 2 4 6 8 who do we appreciate
GRYFFINDOR !!!
GRYFFINDOR !!!
Were Red, were gold, were loyal and were bold
GRYFFINDOR !!!
GO GRYFFINDOR !!!

Throughout the cheer she continued to dance, jump and do various flips and rolls. As she finished singing, she picked up her cap and smiled out at the other girls, before bouncing off beside them again and sitting herself down on the grass to watch the rest of the try-outs.

Sukie whistled his way down to the Quidditch Pitch wearing long sweat pants with matching jacket and pink tank top. He realized he was the only boy he didn't care. He loved cheer leading. He remembered telling Lucy and Alexia about the time when he became the Cheer leading Captain in his previous school. Sukie smiled when he thought of his cheer leading memories. He was the one who thought of the idea to start a cheer leading team in Hogwarts New Zealand, but he was thankful it was Lexi who asked permission and that meant he didn't have to be embarrassed if he was turned down. He looked around and smile at the girls. He smiled at Barbara, the girl he had met at the Lake front once, Lexi, and Alyssa. He had met Alyssa at the Fashion Meeting although he never really talked to her.

"Name's Sukie Takahiro," he said, flicking his hair at the girls. He turned on his music, Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyes Peas. and started dancing like crazy. He shaked his butt, his body and rocked his head. It was like he was the dancer made for the song. Sukie loved dancing. After the song has ended, and like everyone elses, Sukie did a cheer.

Raise up our flag, rah for Slytherin!
Acclaimed house of Green and Silver.
Vaulted sky is our field of glory
Exuberantly, we fly and foray
Neither Studies or Sports slow us down, our skill beats every, all, and through
Cheering with voices true
Lending our wands to spells and charms,
Away we ride to shake down the thunder from the sky.
What though the odds be great or small
House Slytherin will win over all.

Ram that Quaffle through!
Airborne our brooms, zoom!
Victory is the aim
Each hoop awaits our score
Never rest
Catch the Snitch
Let that Bludger by
Accio Brooms!
We must fly!
Slytherin!

Sukie was high on ecstasy as he did his cheer. He loved cheers. After he was done, he shouted "Team Slytheriiiiin!!" and did a backward flip.

Nia woke up good and early that morning. She and Alyssa had both planned on going down to the Quidditch Pitch together to try out for the Slytherin Quidditch Team Cheering Squad, but Nia wanted to stay back and practice a bit more. She had never done cheerleading before so naturally, she was nervous. Luckily Aly had shown her some simple, but impressive moves, so hopefully she was get on the Squad. It was almost time to go down to the pitch so Nia put on her navy tracksuit and pink pumps.

Nia made her way down to the pitch, repeating her routine over and over in her head, knowing she would mess up some how. Just ahead of her she could hear music playing. She broke into a run just in time to see a girl start her routine. How was she meant to compare to that? She walked over to pitch and sat down on the grass and watched everyone do their routines. They were all so good, it was making Nia even more nervous, what if she wasn’t good enough to get on? Aly would definitely get on the squad. And Bella and Abbey were on the Quidditch team for crying out loud. She would probably have to sit in the sidelines cheering all her friends on. It wouldn’t be so bad if she was cheering Bell and Abbey on, at least she would be doing it with Aly and the rest of the squad.

Nia waiting patiently for her turn, she couldn’t care less about waiting, she wasn’t ready. But the sooner she got it over and done with the better, right? In what seemed like no time at all it was her turn. As soon as Sukie finished his routine she got up and walked over to the open space for performing. “Hi I’m Efeyenia Samartzi, but you can call me Nia, and I’ll be trying out for the Slytherin Squad today.” She said with confidence, beaming at everyone else, her heart racing.
She put on her first song. It was a really easy song to get into and let loose. Which is exactly what Nia did, dancing was not her problem, she had a natural rhythm when it came to dancing, but cheerleading was her problem. She danced away to the song, putting in a few simple flips that Aly had shown her, kicks, turns, anything she felts was right. As the song faded into her next song Nia quickly changed her dancing style from general ‘pop’ to a more jazz style of dancing. That song quickly finished, as each one was only about a minute long, and went into her third and finally song, this one being her favourite, as it was a greek song by one of her favourite greek singers, Helena Paparizou. In this dance she incorperated a bit of hip hop and some ballet moves. As the song faded to an end Nia finished with a tuck eagle spread.

YES! she thought to herself as she landed it perfectly. She slowly brought her hands, in perfect fist, down to her waist. A beaming grin on her face, happy that the hard part was over and she had pretty much aced it, she started her chant.

Clap, clap -- clap, clap
Come on fans in the stands
clap your hands
clap, clap, clap -- clap, clap.

Green and Silver,
You’re the winner!
(repeat 2 times)

And with on last “Goooo Team.” she did a cartwheel and ended with the splits, with her fists in the air in a perfect ‘V.’

The try out is now close, if you are being accepted on the team you'll got a mail or Pm, that is saying you have been accepted. I'm sorry to those who's not been Pm.

Next try out will be in the second week of July, so for any interested boys or girls be ready!
