Wand out and a box of some frog swamp soap that she bought before coming here was on Peyton's long slim hand. The Gryffindor had thought so many times if she wanted to stay at the castle for good or even finish her schooling here. Koldovstoretz was still her home and it will stay that way. Hoping her prank will get her at least a detention will surely piss her dad and step mom. If she will keep it up, then Peyton will get expelled and goes back to her old school. The plan was very simple. The entrance hall wasn't that crowded but the great hall, as she peaked through the double doors, was packed by students who has free time before their next subject. Peyton just has to open the box, place it on the floor near the doors and cast 'Aguamenti' on it. The rest is up to the frogs. The teenager paced herself and took lots of deep breaths before doing the deed. Hiding the box and her wand from time to time as students and some Professors pass by going to the great hall.

Dan had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Well he knew that he was walking up and down corridors aimlessly but why he was doing it never occurred to him. After a few minutes he decided that he was wasting time and probably looked stupid to anyone who walked past, so he stopped walking completely and glanced around him to see where exactly he was now. Oh, yes. He was at the Entrance Hall. The Slytherin had nothing better to do. When he noticed a transfer student from some of his classes looking somewhat suspicious, Daniel wanted in. He casually walked over to her, surprising her or at least trying, and he nudged her before whispering. "Hey. What are you doing?" Dan may have sounded rude and harsh, not that it was his intention. If the girl decided to retort, Dan would have to convince her he wasn't one of those typical Slytherin guys who went around targeting either new people or first years. In fact he was against all of that, if one were to ask him. He wasn't one to help the victims in front of the bullies however. He knew it was wrong but Dan enjoyed it sometimes, on rare occasions. The fourteen year old noticed what she was failing to hide and smirked, unable to help it. What on earth was she going to do with those? "You know, if you're trying to be sneaky it's not really working," he smiled at her charmingly, folding his arms across his chest and leaning against the wall.

The Gryffindor isn't going to regret anything once her prank goes through. Peyton took a deep calm breath, the entrance hall is clear of people and all she has to do is cast a spell on the fake frog. When someone nudge her, making her jump a few inches and quickly hiding her wand and the fake frog behind her. Her eyes narrowed at the guy who almost gave her a heart attack. Peyton doesn't know if she should trust him or not, there are two people in this castle; the not-so-trusty and the trusty. The guy can be either one of those people and for that, she ought to be careful. "Not really your business, is it?" She tilted her head slightly and gave the guy a sarcastic smile.

Peyton wasn't one to blabber plans that are meant for just one person, though in this case, she might have a partner in crime. The Gryffindor was about to say something else but the guy was smirking, Peyton frowned, confused as hell what he was smirking about. Then his remark made her groan, revealing the fake frog and her wand. "Okay, go ahead and rat me out, I don't care. Just stop smiling ... it's weird." Peyton told the guy while burrowing her wand behind her right ear. It wasn't the safest place but good enough. Now that she's distracted from her plans, Peyton tucked the fake frog in her dress pocket, mimicked the guy. "I hate this place." She murmured.

Dan had no idea what she was planning to do with those items, but he shrugged it off, deciding it would be better if he let her talk if she wanted to. Or...he could ask her until he annoyed her and maybe then she will tell him, one way or another, if she wasn't about to anytime soon. His smile only grew wider when she replied. He couldn't help it, and a laugh escaped his lips. "Well, it is now," he said whistling. He was already involved considering he saw her wanting to do something with those things she had been holding and therefore the Slytherin was not just going to let it go. If she was going to have some fun, Daniel wanted to be a part of it. Not the clown of the situation, whatever she had in mind, but as the...helper. Or something. The word itself felt strange to him. Help.

"
As if I have time to waste telling on other people," he shrugged and unfolded his arms. As he watched the girl reveal what she was hiding, not that it was that much of a surprise to the fourteen year old, Dan shook his head, 'tsk'ing teasingly. An unreal frog and her wand? Okay so what had she been planning really? Her comment about him smiling made him laugh. He soon stopped smirking though and with a serious expression, asked, "for real though, what were you going to do? Scare people with that...frog?" Daniel's eyes bored into hers as he spoke. He just hoped she would tell him otherwise he'd just be wasting his time. The twin could be doing something else that mattered to him. If she decided to tell him he knew he would help her. Pranking never did any fatal harm to anyone.
