Sage had gotten home far too late, she had left the man's apartment the moment he had gone to sleep which had been just a few hours before and then she'd left, it had been all about being sneaky but really she didn't regret it. She found it easier to just leave at that time, only with a few did she ever stay till morning, one of those being Ferds and the other being Jessie. She had an affinity to the two of them, which went beyond the one night stands she usually had, but it was early morning, and Sage had showered, and changed into more polite and proper clothes for the day, form fitting, with her long wavy brown hair draped over her shoulder and the smile clear on her face. She felt refreshed though was suffering from a lack of sleep. She had opted this time to go out and get herself some breakfast or brunch really. Keen to find something to do with this free day before she went to Ferds in the evening. They had much to organise and Sage was just killing time till then, too awake to sleep.

As she stepping into the magical cafe closest to her house, she noted that it was surprisingly busy, a small cosy cafe was bustling with people and she wasn't yet sure why and as she attempted to find a table to teen gathered that they were few and far between, so she noted a man sitting alone at a table of four and decided that she would interrupt, if he was waiting for others then it would just be tough luck, after a brief conversation with the waiter she knew the girl just walked over and took the seat in front of him, without even a clearing of the throat to let him know she was there, or an apology. Instead she just proceeded to take off her jacket and drape it over the chair, "Coffee, double espresso," she told the waiter before just settling herself into the chair and producing a book from her bag, not even paying the remotest bit of attention to the man she was sitting across from, ignoring his very existence at the table, who was he to take up an entire table anyway. That was something Sage would do, but she hardly like when others did it to her.

Wade was in New Zealand for the first time. He'd never had to come out this way for his job, but it was a decent place and at least they spoke english. His time spent in Africa really helped him appreciate the kind of difficulties that immigrants must have had and he had to wonder why anyone would travel as much as he did just for fun. Still, it wasn't as if Wade didn't enjoy himself when he was mucking around in the countries where he could feign innocence at a broken law. Of course he couldn't do it too often and was careful about where he broke said laws, but it was always fun to see how far he could go. Of course he never did anything that would constitute prison, though he'd had the odd fine of late. That cost him a fair amount sometimes. New Zealand was a very nice country, at least from what he'd seen of it. For all he knew the people could have been poop, but he didn't think so. Carlisle had lived in New Zealand for nearly six months and he was fine, mostly. Still, it would be a good idea to find somewhere that was good, it was a little too late for breakfast, but not an entirely unreasonable time.

Wade stepped into the small cafe. It was quite busy and so Wade immediately ducked to where he saw an empty space and flagged down a waitress before waiting patiently for his quick breakfast. Wade was hungry and didn't want to look around for a table and let his food go cold. It might have been rude to take a table prematurely, but he didn't care, all these people could get food whenever, he always had things to do. However as he was waiting he suddenly found himself with a companion. He raised an eyebrow at her as she so rudely made herself comfortable by removing her jacket and seemingly ignoring him. She settled herself into her chair and pulled out a book. She was very attractive though, there was certainly no denying that. She was clearly a go getter. Wade was particularly fond of brunettes as well. His brother liked blondes, but there was just something about brunette's that always energised Wade. He leaned forward and placed his head in his hands. "I hope that book is as good as it looks." He said. "I've no love of being ignored."

Sage's time now was spent doing what she wanted, and admittedly ever since leaving school she kept far odder hours, but really overall the teen was just happy for the little moments of peace and quiet which were given to her by her new freedom, and even now, so early in this morning, she had been out most of the night and on so little sleep she was just pushing her way through the day, the nice cool air of the morning and the bitter smell of coffee really helping her stay awake, helping her to remain aware and alert at this hour considering all that she had to do with her day which really wasn't much at all, after breakfast Sage planned to go out and actively start doing things that needed done. She didn't even so much as glance over at the man she was sharing the table with, instead just reading her book as she waited for the coffee, adjusting her hair occasionally and moving to a more comfortable position. It was only when he addressed her, or when she assumed that he addressed her that she acknowledged him.

The teen let her eyes drift up and away from the book and directly at the man who had leaned forward and seemed to dislike being ignored, Sage just smirked at him and would've replied but was interrupted by the waiter bringing her the coffee, she thanked him before taking the cup and raising it to her lips with a small smirk, leaving the smallest of lipstick stains on the rim of the small cup, she was ignoring him and making a show of it. Smiling at him, but clearly not saying anything and she was finding it good fun. She put down the cup and adjusted how she was sitting, propping her heeled shoes upon the chair and brushing down her light blue skinny jeans, before glancing back at the man across from her, "My book is as good as it looks," she told him, placing a hand on the book, "It's playful and exciting," her mind was suddenly filled with the prospect of what she could fill her morning with, "But, I bet you'd know all about how exciting books can be,"
